Remus' POV

It's been two days since Hermione appeared. It's now Monday and I have classes to attend. We had transfigured one of the chairs into a bed for her. I also had a full moon on Saturday so I'm beyond tired. "Remember to take notes, and ask Lily for notes from Ancient Runes. I can't fall behind" she tells me.

"I know that Hermione, you focus on researching time turners. I'll be back at lunch with food and more books" I tell her.

"Good" she mutters.

"Remember don't leave this room" I tell her.

"I know the rules, I helped make them" she grumbles. "Remember no one can know I'm here. That includes the other marauders" she reminds me. I nod my head.

"See you later" I tell her and leave. I head to my first lesson. I spot Lily with her friend Alice. "Hey Lily!" I call and she looks at me.

"Hi Remus, something wrong?" she asks me.

"I need a favour, no questions asked" I tell her.

"What sort of favour?" she asks me confused.

"Can you take notes from your ancient runes classes and give me copies of the blank work sheets?" I ask her.

"Why? You don't take Ancient Runes" she states.

"I have a friend called Mia, she's a pen pal from America. She wanted to do Ancient Runes but it's not offered at her school. I said I'd ask you" I lie.

"Of course, are you owling them to her?" she asks me. I nod my head. "I'll give you the notes at lunch" she states. Before leaving going to her Ancient Runes class and I raced to Care of Magical Creatures.

"Where were you?" Sirius asks as I join him and the others.

"Doing last minute homework" I state.

"You never leave your homework to the last minute" James states.

"This time I did" I grumble. Lesson begins and we introduced to unicorn mare & foal. I took more notes then usual and write down the homework. We then went to Charms. After Charms I went over to Lily.

"Here you go, I hope Mia finds them useful" she tells me.

"I'm sure she will" I tell her with a smile as I put the papers in my bag. "Thanks again, see you Wednesday" I state. Then leave the class room.

"Why were you talking to Lily?" James asks me appearing out of no where with Sirius and Peter.

"Exchanging class notes" I lie.

"You're a terrible liar Moony" Sirius tells me.

"I'm not lying, look I gotta go to the library. I'll see you in potions" I tell them. Before rushing to the kitchens. I get some sandwiches from the elves and a bottle of water. Then raced to the library. I made sure I was alone before going through the grandfather clock.

"Did you get the notes?" she asks me.

"Yes, I hope you appreciate it. James and Sirius are getting suspicious" I tell her.

"Just act natural Remus, everything will be fine" she tells me.

"Easy for you to say" I grumble.

"I've been thinking, we need help" she tells me.

"What happened to keeping you a secret?" I ask her.

"I was thinking we go to Dumbledore. He can help us and won't tell anyone" she states.

"One problem with that Hermione. His office is on the other end of the castle" I remind her.

"I know that, is Halloween still a big deal?" she asks me.

"What do you mean?" I ask her.

"Does everyone still go to it? Students, teachers, ghosts?" she asks.

"Yes, everyone does" I state.

"Perfect, that's when we'll go to Dumbledore's office" she tells me.

"But what if we're caught?" I ask her.

"We won't be, an escape criminal broke into Hogwarts on Halloween night in my third year. No one knew about it until after the feast" she tells me matter of factly. "Besides I'll be under James' invisibility clock that you'll be borrowing" she states.

"You want me to steal my friends invisibility clock?" I ask her aghast.

"Not steal, borrow" she corrects me. "It's be back in his trunk before he even knows it's gone" she states.

"What are we suppose to do until then?" I ask her.

"Keep researching and I keep my studies up" she states. "Once I return to my time, my professors will mark my work and I won't be behind in my studies" she says.

"You know, you're taking this fairly well. Most others would be freaking out. I know I would be" I tell her.

"I used a time turner in my third you to go to every class. Besides panicking won't solve anything" she tells me. "Join me for lunch?" she asks and I agree. We sit down and start to ate the sandwiches.

(Great hall) Third Persons POV

"Where's Remus?" Peter asks confused.

"He said he was going to the library" Sirius states.

"But he never misses lunch" James adds. "He's been acting strange all weekend and now this" he says.

"You're just upset that he spoke to Lily" Sirius retorts.

"Am not" James denies. "Peter follow Remus the rest of the day. See if you can find out anything" he states.

"Why me?" Peter squeaks.

"You're the shortest" Sirius tells him. "By the way, there's going to be a lighting storm Thursday night" he tells them.

"About time" James says. Lunch soon ends and Remus never turned up. They go to potions and see he's already there setting up for their listen. James joins him as Sirius snags the table next to them with Peter. "Where have you been?" he asks Remus.

"Library, I told you I'd be there" Remus tells him. Slughorn appears and takes the roll. Before class begins. James sharing a look with Peter and Sirius. While Remus takes notes.
