(June 3rd, 1978) Hermione's POV

I can't believe it. I'm graduating, we're all graduating Hogwarts. I'm sure you all are wondering what's happened in the last year and half. Will let me tell you all about it while Lily works on my hair. James' parents are still alive and healthy. Sirius go his own apartment. He also brought a motorbike.  Which he and James got chased by muggle police on.

Lily and James became head boy & girl. And they are now dating. Sirius is still single along with Peter. Speaking of Sirius, his brother joined the Slytherin quidditch. They still aren't talking though. I hope they get to reconnect after the war.

Speaking of the war. There have been a few deaths. But Dumbledore has managed to locate all the horcruxes. But hasn't gotten then yet. As Apollo has warned him that Voldemort will be testing the defenses in a year or so. However, he does have Ravenclaws lost diadem in his possession. He returned the real diary to the Malfoys. At least until Voldemort has checked on his horcruxes. Then Dumbledore would get all of them at once and will set the trap.

To his knowledge, Voldemort still doesn't know about me. Which is a relief. I'd hate for my knowledge to full into his hands. Snape has gotten close to a few future deatheaters and is set to become a spy for us once he graduates. Alice and Frank are gonna become aurors. Dumbledore is gonna send Marlene and her family into hiding, with himself as secret keeper.

Anyway, Remus and I are still dating. We just got word from my cousin Hector that the wolfsbane potion has been perfected. He'd send Remus a batch in time for the first full moon after graduation. Remus will have to drink a goblet a day on the week of the full moon. Both Remus and his parents are extremely grateful to Hector for supplying Remus with Wolfsbane potion.

"Done" Lily says as she finishes my hair. "You know James father really is a master potions maker" she states.

"That is true" I agree.

"Are you girls ready yet?" Marlene asks as she appears with Alice.

"We are" Lilly tells her.

"Then lets go, the guys are waiting" Alice states. We each put on our hats and head down into the common room. Alice and Marlene leave with Frank.

"Wow Hermione, you've tamed your hair" Sirius teases and I roll my eyes.

"With a little help, I'm sure" James teases.

"It's graduation, I wanted it to look nice" I tell them.

"I love your hair" Remus tells me. "Even when it looks like a birds nest in the morning" he says teasingly in my ear.

"We should be going" Peter squeaks.

"He's right" James agrees and we all leave the common room. Heading down to the entrance hall. We join the other seventh years waiting to graduate. Sort of a through back to our first year when we had to wait to be sorted. We now wait for the rest of the school to be seated.

"I can't believe we're finally graduating" Marlene cheers.

"I can't believe Peter passed all his exams" Sirius tells her and we all chuckle.

"Bet Hermione got all Os" James tells him.

"I'm sure I failed everything" I say becoming stressed.

"Shush" Remus says while wrapping his arms around me. "I am sure you passed everything, my little wolf" he assures me. "I mean you are graduating, which means you got a passing grade in all your subjects" he states.

"You're right" I say relaxing. Just then Professor McGonagall appears.

"We're ready for you now, follow me" she tells us. Then leads us into the hall. She has us wait where we waited to be sorted, then goes to stand by Dumbledore. "When I call your name, you will come forth to collect your master of wizardry certificate. Which proves you have graduated, along with your exam results" she states. "Jonathan Abbott" she calls and a hufflepuff steps forward to accept his certificate. As the crowd applauds.

She continues to call names alphabetically. We each go up, collect our certificates. Shaking Dumbledore's hand, before rejoining the other seventh years. Until James goes to collect his and stays up front. "Excuse me Professor, I wondered if I could give a speech? As head boy" he asks Dumbledore.

"Of course you may" Dumbledore says with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Where are you going?" I ask Remus as he and Sirius go to slip away.

"You'll see" he tells me with a wink.

"I can't give a speech without the head girl, so Lily will you join me please?" James asks. Lily joins him looking as confused as the rest of the school. James smiles at her lovingly. "You know I remember when I first walked through those doors" he says pointing to the main entrance. "The sky was crystal clear and it was a few days before a full moon" he states.

"It was a beautiful night" Lily agrees.

"Not as beautiful as you were" he tells her and she blushes. "It was the first night I spoke to you" he adds smiling. "I shook your hand and introduced myself" he states.

"Your hands were all sweaty" she giggles.

"I was in the presence of the most beautiful girl of the school, of course I was nervous" James tells her. "I still can't believe how quickly the seven years went by or how long it took you to finally go on a date with me. I was over the moon when after our first date you agreed to be my girlfriend. I felt like the luckiest-man in the world" he states.

"Please continue Mr Potter, we still have others needing to graduate" McGonagall tells him.

"Right, sorry professor" he says sheepishly. He turns to Lily holding her hands in his. "Lily, I love you. It's always been you, from the day we meet and I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else" he states before getting on one knee taking out a ring box. "Lily Jane Evans, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" he asks.

"Yes, a thousand times yes" she says and kisses him. Just then indoor fireworks go off as we all clap. Lily and James stop kissing, he places the ring on her finger. Then picks her up spinning her around. Before setting her down and rejoins us.

The graduation ceremony continues. "Congrats James" Peter squeaks

"Thanks" he says as he smiles. His arm around Lily. "Thanks for the display guys" he adds as Remus and Sirius join us.

"Anytime James" Remus tells him as he wraps his arms around me.

"So whens the wedding?" Sirius asks.

"Ten weeks" James tells him.

"Wait? What?" Lily asks him shocked. "We can't plan a wedding in ten weeks" she tells him.

"Sure we can, with the help of Marlene and Hermione" James tells her.

"Of course we'll help, leave it to us" Marlene tells them.

"We'll get choices for you and you just have to pick which you like most" I add. "By the way, what theme?" I ask.

"Green" James says while looking into Lily's eyes.

"I would have thought you'd want gryffindor colours" she states surprised.

"But green is your favourite colour" he tells her.

"We'll discuss it later" she states. We then watch the rest of the ceremony. Then through our hats into the air afterwards. Before enjoying the end of term feast with gryffindor banners. Yes, gryffindor got the house cup and the quidditch cup this year. After the feast we return to our dorms to finish packing.

Lily and James then discuss some wedding ideas. They settled on vanilla and chocolate swirl cake. Green and soft orange for the colour theme. Lilies to be in the flower arrangements. And also to have the wedding & reception at the Potter Mansion. But they still need to decide on catering, the guest list, what other flowers they want, who is going to marry them, the song list and many more things. It'll be a bust ten weeks on the lead up to the wedding.
