(October 30th, 1981) Hermione's POV

"So everything is ready for tomorrow?" I ask Dumbledore.

"Yes, the horcruxes have been gathers. All five and are ready to be destroyed" he states. "I'll be dueling Tom personally" he adds.

"You're the only person he ever feared" I tell him. "But don't go alone, he won't be easy to defeat" I state.

"I know" he says. "You'll be at the safe house with Alice, Lily and the babies?" he asks.

"Yes" I say as I bounce Faith.

"She truly is beautiful Hermione, I'm sure she'll be very bright just like you and Remus" he says with a smile.

"I hope so" I say with a smile. "Who'll be destroy the horcruxes?" I ask.

"Regulus, Severus, Marlene and the Prewett twins" he says. "Kingsley and my brother will be with me at the Potters. Along with the other five. Meanwhile Mad-eye, Frank, and a team of trained aurors will be lying in wait at the Longbottoms" he explains.

"And Remus is going after Peter with Sirius & James" I say with a sigh.

"Don't worry they're prepared for him, your knowledge has prepared them" he assure me. "After tomorrow this war will finally be over and Tom will no longer be a danger to any of us again" he says with a smile. "I can't thank you enough for all you've done for our world and the muggle world. I expect you'll receive an order of Merlin, first class" he states.

"I don't care about that or want it" I tell him. "All I want is to live a peaceful and long life with Remus. To raise our daughter and maybe have another baby" I tell him smiling. "Is that everything?" I ask him.

"Yes, have a good night Mia" he says with a smile. I touch the port key and I am taken to the safe house. Where the others are waiting. Faith squeals happily at the sight of Neville and Harry. I smile and place her down. She crawls over to them.

"They grow up to fast" Alice states.

"Agreed" Lily and I say. We all giggle.

"Mummy, story!" Faith squeals looks at me.

"Yeah!" Harry cheers as Neville claps.

"You heard them Mia, they want a story" Sirius tells me.

"Well once upon a time there was a beautiful princess" I start as I pick Faith up. Lily and Alice pick up their boys. "She was kind, fair, smart and beautiful. Everyone loved her, she had two boys fighting over her" I tell them. The kids fall asleep before I can finish the story. We each go to our separate rooms.

"It's nice of Dumbledore to let us use his family house as a safe house" Remus states.

"It is, though I hate being so close to where he'll be" I tell him.

"Hey, it'll be ok" he assures me. "By the way, the guys and I won't be here when you wake up" he tells me.

"Please be careful, all of you" I tell him.

"We'll be fine" he assures me. "We have it all planned, we'll lead him to the alley where no muggle will see or hear us. Disarm him and body bind him. Once he is defeated we'll turn him over to the ministry. Where Sirius and James will confess to being animagi. As well as reveal that Peter is one" he tells me.

"Won't Sirius and James get into trouble?" I ask him.

"A little, but nothing they can't pay their way out of. Besides they're war heroes, they'll get a slap on the wrist. But not Peter, he'll no doubt receive the kiss" he states.

"I know he'll deserve it, but it's still horrible someone losing their soul" I tell him.

"Come tomorrow night, the fight will be over. Just trails, which will take a while. But at least we'll all finally be free and it's all because of you. My brilliant *kiss* Beautiful *kiss* Lovely *kiss*" he says in between kisses.

"Stop teasing and make love to me Remus" I tell him. He chuckles and does so. We fell asleep in each other's arms.

(Next day)

When I woke up Remus was gone. There was a note on the night stand. Promising he'd be back in time for dinner. I fed Faith and head downstairs. I place her in the play pen with Harry and Neville. "How did you girls sleep?" I ask Alice and Lily.

"Horribly, I'm so worried about Frank" Alice tells me.

"James and I were up most of the night going over old photos. Reminiscing" Lily says. "It sounded like you and Remus had some fun" she says teasingly and I blush. "Speaking of, can you girls keep a secret?" she asks us.

"Of course" we tell her.

"We weren't going to tell anyone yet as it's still so early. But I thought I should let you girls know" she says with a smile. "James and I, we're expecting" she states.

"Really?" Alice asks.

"Congratulations" I say with a smile. "How far along?" I ask.

"James and I only found out last week. I'm about five and half weeks, we plan on telling everyone at the Christmas party" Lily tells us.

"We won't tell a soul" I assure her.

"Except maybe our husbands" Alice adds. "Are you hoping for a boy or girl?" she asks.

"I'd like another boy, but James wants a girl" Lily answers. "If James has his way, we'll be naming a boy after Sirius" she mutters.

"When he pushes out the baby, he can name it" Alice tells her and we all laugh. "Frank and I were thinking of trying again. Once this is all over" she tells us.

"I'd love another one too. Though Remus and I haven't discussed it yet" I tell them. "It was lonely growing up without a sibling" I state.

"It is" Alice agrees.

"James and I are taking Harry to see Petunia & her family for Christmas eve lunch" Lily tells us.

"Remember they hate magic and Dudley doesn't know about it. But I know she loves you, otherwise she wouldn't have raised Harry in my time" I state.

"Wait, what?" Lily asks me.

"Harry, your little Harry is or was one my future best friends. He was raised by his aunt and uncle. They weren't very loving, but they kept him safe" I tell her. "Petunia would have never had done that if she didn't love you" I state.

"Then there is hope for us" Lily says with tears in her eyes. "Stupid hormones" she grumbles dabbing at her eyes.

"What of Neville?" Alice asks.

"He was gonna be raised by your mother in law, you and Frank were hurt bad. You were residents of Saint Mungo's, that's all I know. But now you'll get to raise him" I say with a smile looking at Harry and Neville. "They both will never know life without you all" I state.

"Thank you Mia, this is all possible because of you" Lily tells me.

"We can never thank you enough" Alice adds.

"I don't need thanks, I'm just happy we'll all be safe and free of him at last" I tell them.

(Time skip)

I saw him, outside the kitchen window. I had gone down for a glass of warm milk. Remus and the others haven't gotten back yet. We've already had dinner and the kids are asleep. He was walking down the street to James and Lily's house. I close the curtains an grab my wand. It's happening, it's finally happening. After all the years of planning.

"Mia" Lily says.

"It's him, he is on his way to your house" I tell her and she gasps. "Let get Alice and go to the nursery" I tell her. She nods her head and we go upstairs. Alice was already in the nursery as we see the kids awake in bed.

"It's ok little ones" Alice assures them and looks at us. "Is it time?" she asks and we nods our heads. We all hold our wands and stand in front of our babies ready to fight if needed.

But no fight came, instead about twenty minutes later we hear a knock downstairs. "I'll go" I tell them.

"No, let me" Alice says.

"I'll be ok" I assure her. "Watch over my daughter" I tell them and head downstairs. A knock sounds again. "Who is is?" I ask lowly.

"It's Dumbledore" he says.

"Who am I?" I ask him.

"Hermione Jean Granger, now Lupin. You were sent back to save us all" he says. "I am the secret keeper of this house" he states. I unlock the door, but stay on my guard. Dumbledore enters with Regulus and Severus.

"Is it over?" I ask them.

"He's gone Mia" Severus assures me.

"Gone for good, along with his horcruxes" Regulus adds. Just then we hear people appear outside. We all turn to the door wands raised and Frank appears looking tired.

"We caught them" he says tiredly. "I am Frank Longbottom, auror and my favourite subject was herbology" he states.

"It's him" I say as Alice appears with Lily and the kids. "It's over" I tell them and Frank runs to Alice hugging her. As Remus enters with James and Sirius. As Lily hands me Faith.

"Our names are Moony, Padfoot and Prongs" Remus says.

"We made the Marauders map" Sirius adds.

"Wormtail is now locked up tight with no chance of escape" James states. Lily kisses him and he hugs her close. Remus hugs me.

"Regulus, what are you..." Sirius starts to say.

"He's been a spy with me" Severus states.

"I'm sorry for everything that happened between us Sirius. I miss my big brother and I hope with this war over we can start to mend the relationship our parents broke" Regulus says. Sirius goes up to him, then pulls him into a tight hug.

"I've missed you little brother" he says close to tears. I smile, it's finally over. Everyone I care about it alive and safe. I look up at Remus.

"Remus" I say.

"Yes Mia?" he asks.

"Do you want another baby?" I ask him.

"I'd love one" he says and kisses me. That night, was a night of celebration for all of the wizarding world. Voldemort had finally been defeat and there is no chance of him returning. I was afraid to fall asleep, thinking I would wake up in my old time. But sleep soon won and I fell asleep with Remus holding me & our daughter. Faith.
