*Time skip to the last class*

Hermione's POV

      This day has just dragged on and on, I barely talked to Blaise and Draco, and wasn't trying to answer the teachers question like I normally do. However I did notice that Draco kept looking at me with a worried look. So it's really only a matter of time before he stops me to ask me what's been bothering me all day, and to be fair I'm still not in the mood to talk to anyone at the moment.
      Professor McGonagall had given us our homework assignment that's due next Monday on the history of transfiguration. I was writing down some ideas of where to start the research that I didn't hear her dismiss us. I felt someone tap my shoulder "Hermione you know you can leave class now right?" "Yes I know I was just writing down a thought before I forgot it" I lied to who I assumed was Draco. I started packing my books up to turn around to face the two people I most certainly don't want to talk or even see right now, Ron and Harry.

Draco's POV

      I was waiting for Hermione to ask her if she was alright at the end of the corridor. But she was taking longer than it should, I was about to go back to the class room to see what was keeping her when she came running out with tears coming down her face. This only means that Potter and Weasel talked to her, and just as I think that, here they are right in front of me. "Why can't you just leave that girl alone?" I questioned anger obviously in my voice "why do you care Malfoy?" Potter asks ignoring my question, and looking in the direction Hermione ran off in. I rolled my eyes "I care Potter because you two don't want to be friends with her, and strait up assume she's a bad person just because she's in Slytherin! I thought that Gryffindors are supposed to be kind! You two being rude to me and me being rude to you two is a completely different situation, a situation that Hermione doesn't deserve to be in." I turn around not letting them respond and head off in the direction she ran in.
