Chapter Eleven

"Alright, there's food in the pantry, feel free to explore the place, don't get lost you might end up in Belgium." Angus was putting his school blazer on for the interview. I'd never seen him in it as much until now. Not since '75 anyway. "Be back soon okay?" He gave me a one arm hug and kissed my forehead before leaving. What to do, what to do?

"Are you sure?" Malcolm asked confused.

"No, that's why I talked to you first," Cliff answered.

"She wasn't talking about him, no way."

"I don't think so either but then who is it?"

"You?" Malcolm laughed.

"Very funny."

"Okay okay. I still don't think it's Angus she's talking about. We still shouldn't tell him about it."

"Tell who?" Angus asked coming up to them. Malcolm turned around nervously.

"Nothing," he and Cliff shook their heads.

"Secrets don't make friends Mal," Angus smirked.

"Too bad we're brothers," Malcolm replied.

"You'll tell me won't you Cliff?"

"It's nothing important Angus, you don't want to know."

"It has to do with me, doesn't it?" Angus smiled. "It's me you shouldn't tell." Cliff cleared his throat.

"Come on then, we've got an interview," Malcolm said before he and Cliff walked out. Angus huffed and went after them.

I watched tv for a while in the room. I'd love to go with them, I didn't really see the first interview anyway. But I didn't need anyone asking me who I was. Part of me wished they weren't famous, we could go where we wanted, but this is the life they wanted. I have no right taking that away.

But watching tv all day was not an option. I was going outside for some fresh air. I grabbed Malcolm's jacket and went out to the lobby. And guess who I saw at the front desk?
