17. Mirrors.
"You can never see this much stars in the cities.", Nat said, pointing up at the stairs. "I never noticed before until now how many you can see without all the lights coming from the city. Or how bright the moon can be.",
"I've noticed when I visit.", Cam said. She was sitting in front of Nat with her back against his chest. Their backs were away from the group that was still down by the lake since some of them weren't so happy to see them walking out of the woods with their hands together. Her head was resting against his shoulder, his arms arms around her closely and she was laying her hands on him. "Now though that you pointed it out, the sky is beautiful with the stars."
"Makes your hazel eyes shine.", he said, pressing his lips against head, making her blush as she smile. "I"m haven't been this happy in a long time.", he said.
"I'm your sure your sweet sixteen was a blast coming from the magazine.", she said, then frowned. "Really wish I could have been there."
It was quiet for a moment, "You'll be there when I turn eighteen, it's be bigger."
"As long as I don't mess another one.", she said.
"I promise.", he said, taking one of his arms free and gently grabbed her chin to turn her face and kiss her.
She pulled away and chuckle, "Not when people will be watching.", she said.
"You'll have to get use to it because people will watch.", he said and she frowned a little. It was amazing and a perfect feeling to be back with Nat, but with they ever have privacy? "What? What's wrong?", he asked.
She was about to say nothing, but she knew he wouldn't leave her alone until she answered, "I don't want to be in front of a camera all the time now, Nat. I'm not like those size zeros models, not confident enough. I'm okay with how I look, just not with a camera."
He looked more confused, "Why? Your beautiful."
"I know some people can be judgmental though.", she said. "I don't want to be Nat Bynes next girlfriend, I just want to be Nat's girlfriend."
"You will be.", he said. "The most you would ever have to deal with is invents and premieres with me and the guys will be invited to. Other then that just my plain old chipmunk cheek girlfriend."
She quickly turned and hit his chest playfully, "It's baby fat.", she chuckled. "At least I don't have big ears."
He brought one of his hands up to his ears, "My ears aren't big"
"That's cause you can't see them with how your big head is shape, but if you turn your head,", she said, putting her hand under his chin to turn his head to the side, "you can tell those elephant ears a mile away."
He chuckled and turned to look at her, "Your such a mean girlfriend."
"I speak the truth though.", she chuckled.
Nat laid back, laying on his propped elbows, "Rob isn't going to be happy with me.", he said and she gave him a confused look. She doesn't understand why his manager would be mad at him for being in a relationship. What does Rob have to do with anything about them? "After with what happened with Jazmin, he told me to stay away from relationship for awhile to focus only music. He's the one that set me up with her in the first place."
"She was beautiful though.", Cam said, can't help but feel a little jealous of Nat's ex model girlfriend.
"Sure, but she wasn't on the inside. She was cold, nasty, a drama queen, and when she wasn't model, she kind of stink like she didn't take showers.", he said, making her nose scrunch up.
"Ew.", she said.
"And she may have been a size zero, but her height was five eight. All bones, I swear my arm could wrap around her twice.", he said
"Ew.", Cam chuckle, shivering at that thought. "Didn't she know she could have ate a cheeseburger?"
"She thought she was fat, which just made me even more pissed off around her. She could drink like a sailor though.", he said. He then leaned up and wrapped his arms around her, "Which is another reason why I love you, you got curves and isn't afraid to eat like a truck driver."
"Aw, what a nice way of saying I'm such a tomboy sometimes.", she said, chuckling as he pecked her.
"I'm trying to say I'm not afraid of hugging you like I did with all of them.", he said, making her smile and shyly look down at the ground. "I'm not going to keep you hidden like how I know he wants. I'm not going to let the media question us. I want to get it all out of the way so they wont have to bug us."
"How are you going to do that?", she asked.
"I have over three million followers on twitter.", he said, pulling out his phone. "One picture and it'll be open."
"Oh no-I look horrible.", she said.
"Not such a tomboy now, are we?", he asked. "Come on, you look pretty. Just one, don't want some model to try and snag me up, right?"
She glared at him, "Fine."
Nat step up his front camera and she snuggled up right next to him, smiling at the face. "Oh, hold up. Almost forget.", he said, then wrapped his arm, pulling her face towards his, and kissed her against the mouth. She tried to pull away but he had already took the picture. He chuckle and looked at the picture, "Okay, that was for me."
"Just hurry up.", she said.
"Bossy, bossy.", he said, setting his camera up again. He held it up to them and he kissed her cheek and she let him stay there as he took the picture, the camera blinding her.
"Okay, okay, wait again.", she said, chuckling. "I didn't like that one."
She doesn't know how she ended up letting them spend fifteen minutes taking pictures of them. She was enjoying making silly faces and being dumb with him. Nat somehow always seems to look good in them while she hated every single one, but it just seem to amuse her more that she didn't care.
"Okay, you both are gross.", she heard Dans voice. "It seems two years haven't change how disgusting it is."
They just chuckled, finding it amusing since before him, Kyle, and KC did hate them being all lovey dovey.
"It's nice to see you to back together though, Nat wont end up smashing another guitar.", he said, making Cam look at Nat confused.
"I'll tell ya later.", he said.

As soon as Nat woke up, he got dressed and left his house. He was to much of a good mood to stay home where he could be already with his girlfriend. He couldn't help but smile knowing Cam was his again.
He wasn't prepared to drive up to Cameron house and see her on the porch-with Seth. She was leaning against her door and he seemed to be arguing with her until she saw his car. Nat got out the car and Seth turned angrily around, walking down the steps.
"No, no, I'm not letting this happen.", he said as he walked over to Nat and got in his face.
"To bad, it did.", he said. "Cameron my girlfriend-again. I'm the one that got her back."
"Guys, please, not on my parents lawn.", Cam said, walking off the stairs. "Seth, I'm sorry, I didn't want to you hurt you-"
"You're making a mistake though.", he said, his voice hard. Nat's eyebrow came together in confusion at how tensed he looked, but he saw around Seth's eyes were red. "He'll leave you again, like he did last time."
"Seth, please. We'll talk about this later.", she said. "Not while my parents are home, I don't want them to call the police on you."
"Yeah, not in the state that you in.", he said and Seth gave him a confused look. "What did you take this time? A molly?"
"Shut up, I don't know what your talking about.", he said.
"Really? Seth, I know what it looks like to be on drugs. Your paranoid as heck, your anxious, and you look quit clammy.", Nat pointed out.
"You did this.", he said. "You made me so worried being around Cam and I could only control myself by doing this. It's his fault, Cam.",
"Suggestion, get off now before it gets to late.", Nat said, knowing all the help suggestion would piss him off because Nat always hated when people would suggest that to him when he was on drugs as if he had a problem. He never wanted to admit until he realize how much it made him lose and he wanted Cam back.
"I don't have a problem!", Seth said. "Not like you did, Nat."
"I got off it all on my own.", Nat said, his voice getting hard. "I controlled myself."
He chuckled to Nat's surprise, "Says the guy who OD."
Nat was getting pissed off now and he went to grab to punch Seth, but Cam went inbetween them, "No!", she said, her voice hard and serious. "Seth, you don't leave, I'll call the cops and believe me, I have a cousin there and they'll be quick to come."
"Fine.", he grunted out, walking away from them backwards. "Be together, but when he breaks your heart again, I might not be here for you."
Nat watch Cam bring her hand up to her forehead and rub them as Seth got into his car and left. Once he drive away and turn the corner, Nat turned to Cam, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine.", she said. "I knew it wasn't going to be easy when I told him. I just didn't expect it to be this early. I was still sleeping when he knocked on the door. Wait, why are you here? It's nine o'clock. Why are people showing up to my house this early in the morning?", she asked as she turned around and walked back up to her house and he followed behind.
"I actually wake up early in the morning unless I have been partying the night before.", he said, chuckling since Cam wasn't a morning person.
"Well I need coffee if I'm going to start my day.", she said.
"That's why I'm coming, I want to take you to a diner.", he said, walking into their house where he saw her dad sleeping on the couch awkwardly. He gave her a confused look and she shrugged.
"Mom hasn't fully forgiven yet. Letting him move back in was already a big step.", she said.
"Oh.", he said, nodding.
"So breakfast?", she asked and he nodded. "I'll get dress.", she smiled then turned to the couch. "He should stay asleep while I'm upstairs, I'll be quick."
With that, she jogged upstairs to go get ready and Nat went over to the recliner, sitting down awkwardly as he waited for Cam, hoping her father didn't wake up.
A minute passed and Cam's father right eye opened, then the other one did. Nat gave him a surprised look and Ken leaned his neck out to look upstairs, "I heard everything.", he said
"Oh.", Nat said, his mouth forming an 'o' shape.
Ken sat up, "So, my daughter took you back?", he asked.
"Yeah.", Nat said, knowing this was going to be awkward. Nat wasn't really boyfriend material as the media made him out to appear and he sure Ken hasn't forgiven him for breaking Cam's heart the first time. "You're cool with that, right though?", Nat chuckled, hoping to lighten up the mood but the way Ken didn't laugh back or agree made him stop and cleared his throat and take his glasses off.
"You hurt my daughter again, I hurt you twice as hard.", he said. "Don't let the grays that are coming in my hair fool you, Nat."
"Never, sir.", he said and Ken tossed his hand in the air, swing down towards Nat, making Nat filch and back away.
Ken laughed, "Relax, Nat, I was only going to pat your back.", he said as he got up and did as he said he would.

Cam wasn't sure if Nat had notice some people watching them in the diner. Maybe it was because they were sitting at a booth, but sitting on one side together, or it was because of who Nat was. It was a little strange to have some of the people keep looking at you and turn away when you look back at them. Nat was probably use to it and didn't notice and if he did he must have not of cared.
"What are you looking at?", she asked, leaning at to look at his phone to see he was on his twitter, strolling down on something of many people comments. She reached up and snatched his phone away, ignoring his protest as she scrolled up and saw collage picture of them making those funny picture. "And what are they saying?", she asked, grinning up at him.
"Uh, nothing Cam, nothing important.", he said as she scrolled down to were people were replying to the comment. Some were good saying how cute they were together and others-well, not so nicely. After two minutes, Cam couldn't take it anymore as she sat the phone down, frowning. She pulled the sleeve of her open sweater over her hands and lowered in her seat.
"Jeez, I never knew how much words could hurt.", she said about the girls who called her idiot, fat, and ugly. Now she knows why Nat didn't want her to see and kept trying to get the phone back every five seconds.
"They're just haters, Cam.", he said, putting his arm around her and pulled her closer to him. "Don't listen to them. One said you were completely adorable and different from the others. Another said we looked so promising and could see how happy we were."
"And the one understand that said I was a big downgrade compared to Jazmin.", she said.
Nat set the phone down, "You really think I would listen to them? They're just made because I'm off the market.", he said, grinning down at her.
She gave him a small smile, "Thanks for trying to cheer me up."
"One of them even said you had the prettiest full heart shape lips he ever seen, I couldn't agree more.", he said, leaning down to kiss her, but she pushed him away and chuckled.
"Nathaniel Bynes, I am more classy then to start making out when people are watching.", she chuckled.
