Under the tangerine sunsets, I remember Eve cutting her birthday cake. She told me that they didn't celebrate birthdays on the Moon, they only celebrated birthdays of humans everyday, which I thought was kind of weird. I asked her what she wished for, and when she looked into my eyes, I understood everything. She chose me, somebody to fall in love with.

I didn't know why she loved me in the beginning, but one day I eventually knew why she did. Here's how it went: I had managed to sneak out of my house at midnight, even though I had been grounded by my brother. she and I sat on a green hill overlooking the city, she laid her head on my broad shoulder, she held my hand in hers and whispered to me, "If you are worth anything later, you are worth something now. for wheat is wheat even if people only see grass in the beginning."

I loved her, she held all the secrets of the universe.
