Emilie PoV

Mommy and I had flown out to London where she would meet her fans at an event. Joe had come with us and we were staying with him as Mommys house here was used for the event and needed to be decorated and stuff. 

"I don't know Tay. Do you think she's ready for this?" I was sitting on the stairs in his house listening to Mommy and him argue about something. "I don't know either Joe, but she knows you and it'll be better than coming with me." I heard her say. What were they talking about. Maybe me? I started to swing my legs back and forth.

"Joe please. You'll be fine. She likes you and you can just stay in with her if you want, just make sure she eats and goes to bed at nine pm. If she comes with me, she'll be up way too long and it will be loud and scary with so many people and there's a chance that someone takes pictures of her, please Joe."

I heard Mommy say again, then some shuffling and murmured whispers. "Thank you so much Joe. I love you." I suddenly heard mommy say. "Emilie, baby. Can you come here please." I got up and started to run down the stairs to the kitchen. "Yeah mommy." She was standing next to Joe, who had one of his arms wrapped up around her leaning against the kitchen counter. 

"What is it Mommy?" I looked up at her and Joe while she pulled me closer to her. The two grown ups exchanged a quick glance before looking back at me. "You know how I have this event today, with lots of people who are gonna be really loud and it could be scary."

I nodded while taking a grab at the hem of her shirt and starting to play with it. "And I don't know if it's the best if you come with me, cause I think it will be a lot too long for you to stay awake and I don't think that I'll be able to take care of you the whole time. I've got a lot of things that I have to do, so Joe and I talked and I, we, think it's best if you stay with him today. If that is okay with you." I looked at Mommy and at Joe before nodding a little. "Hmm that's okay." The two smiled and mommy leaned down to give me a kiss on the hair. 

"Alright my loves, I'm gonna get ready now. You two try to figure out what to do today." She stepped out of Joe's embrace and left the room. He looked at me smiling, before leaning down a bit. 

"Well Miss Emilie, what do you wanna do today?" I shrugged looking up at his blue eyes that were so similar in color to eyes. 

"We could go on a small London Trip. Would that be alright with you?" I nodded a little bit, before I stopped. "But what about the bugmen?" He smiled a little before opening his arms to pick me up, what I let him do. 

"For one nobody really knows me or you so I doubt that anybody will come to look for us, but we can ask your mommy if it's okay with her and two, I'll be with you and make sure you are super duper safe." I nodded leaning my head against his chest, he was taller than mommy and really comfy. 

Mommy came back and smiled as she watched me and Joe, I opened my arms for her and she stepped closer towards us wrapping her arms around me and Joe. I felt her hand gently stroking my hair while Joe was drawing circles on my back. I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder feeling calm and safe. 

"Mommy can Joe and I go to the city today? Or do you want us to stay home because of the bugmen?" She smiled at me and I could basically feel her happiness.

"I'm okay with you going out as long as you try to be careful with the paparazzi." She pressed another kiss to my forehead before letting go of me. "Go get dressed baby. I need to go soon and I think you two could drive me there." I nodded happily and Joe let me go.

I ran upstairs and pulled out a white and black striped shirt, red tights, a dark gray jeans rock and a brown leather jacket. After I got myself dressed I ran downstairs to the kitchen where mommy and Joe were waiting on me. 

"Am ready." I said while walking inside, before quickly averting my eyes to the ground. Mommy and Joe were kissing. "Come here Emi, we stopped kissing." I heard Mommy chuckle. She picked me up and sat me on her hip. "You don't like it when we kiss?" She asked with a smile. "No, it's gross." The two started to laugh. "I bet in a few years you'll think differently." I shook my head. "No boys are gross." Joe started to laugh now. "Yeah that's right. Taylor, you are out of your mind if you think I'll let this one ever date." Mommy was laughing as well  now. 

"Come on my pretty girls, let's go." Joe picked me out of mom's arms, put me on his hip before holding his other hand out to my mom. She smiled, taking his hand and together we left the house. 

The car was standing in a small parking lot next to the door. Joe helped me in my booster seat, while Mom got into the passenger seat. The house was surrounded by a large fence with a gate, so there was no way that there'd be any bugmen here. 

"Mommy can we listen to Auntie Selly please." "Of course any song?" "Who says, please." She smiled and while Joe started the car mom started to play the song. 

We listened to five songs before we came to mommy's house and she had to get off, but before she did she turned around to me. 

"Emilie I love you so much and I'll be back tomorrow for breakfast, I won't be there to tuck you in tonight, but I know Joe will take good care of you okay and I promise you that once I'm back home tonight I'll come in to check up on you and say goodnight." She smiled and I nodded, giving her a smile back. "Okay mommy and tomorrow we'll cuddle and watch movies?"

She nodded and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Yeah that sounds perfect and you can tell me all about the day you and Joe had today." I nodded excitedly and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I love you mommy. See you tomorrow." "See you tomorrow my baby." She smiled and gave me another kiss before she gave Joe a smile and left the car. We waited till mommy got into the house, before Joe turned around. 

"So what do you want to see?" I thought about it for a while. "I don't know. I've never been to London before." He nodded, smiling as he started to car. 
"How about I show you some of my favorite spots?" "Okay." He was driving down the street and I was watching houses go by. 

"Joe." "Yeah Emilie?" "Where are we going?" He looked at me through the rearview mirror. "I was thinking we could go to Soho and then afterwards we could get lunch somewhere." I nodded as he took a turn left. "Do you want to listen to mom's music?"

I nodded and he put some music on, as I heard mom's voice from the speakers I started to smile. Looking at Joe I saw him smile as well. It seemed like he really liked mommy, I just hope he really likes me too.

After two of mommy's songs we stopped the car, the third song 'wonderland' was still playing. "Joe, can we finish the song, please?" He nodded and we finished the song. I was quietly singing along and noticed Joe looking at me, he had his phone in his hand and recorded me.

"I'm gonna send this to your mom okay?" He asked as he helped me out of the car. "Hm okay." I took his hand as we started to walk down the streets. So many people were running around and I was kinda getting scared, so I started to walk really close to Joe's side. 

"Emi, are you okay?" "So many people, it's kinda scary." I answered looking up at him, he just smiled and opened his arms for me. Immediately I jumped into his arms and he picked me up.

"Better?" I nodded and leaned my head against him in the effort to calm me down. He started to walk again. There were lots of cars on the road making lots of noise and I started to realize that London was a lot scarier than Hawaii. But some of the houses were really pretty.

There were really old houses right next to really new houses. "We're gonna take a right here." Joe told me as he took a right on a street called Wardour Street. "Where are we going?" I asked him and he gave me a warm smile. "I wanna show you something. This is one of my favorite things in the city."

I nodded.  We walked a really long time down the same street, Joe stopping every now and then to show me a building that looked pretty and just making small talk. 

"Joe?" "Yeah darlin?" "Thanks for carrying me." He smiled and pulled me a little closer to his body. "It's my pleasure Emi." He stopped and turned left. "Look here Emilie, we are there." We were in front of a really pretty street with a red and green gate that had dragons on top and all over the street were red and golden lanterns.

"Wow this is pretty." I said and he smiled. "We are in a part of the city called Chinatown." He explained while letting me down from his arms so I could take a look around. 

"Do you want me to take a picture of you?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah so I can show mommy tomorrow." He smiled and took his phone out while posed in the middle of the gate, he was laughing while taking pictures of me.

Then I saw a lady walking up to him and saying something, to which he nodded and handed her the phone, before coming over to me and picking me up. "She's gonna take a picture of us together." I nodded and smiled as big as I could for the picture.

"Here is your phone." The woman said and handed him the phone. "Thank you so much." He said and gave her a smile. "It's alright your daughter is really adorable." I felt myself blush and fought the instinct to say that I'm not his daughter.

He just smiled at me and than at the woman. "Yeah she is, isn't she? Anyways we gotta go. I really wanna show her some things before we met her mom." The woman nodded and we went our separate ways. Joe started walking down the street slowly to point out some of the buildings and let me take it all in. 

"Look there's a stand with fortune cookies and flowers." I said pointing it out to him. He smiled and started to walk towards it. "Hey would you like something?" The girl behind the stand asked and I looked at Joe. "Yeah we'd like three fortune cookies please. Can you pack them so we can eat them at home?" The girl nodded and handed Joe the Cookies in a small bag.

"Anything else?" Joe looked at me and smiled. "Yeah can we have a white peony?" She nodded and handed him one. He smiled turned to me and put it in the braid mommy had put into my hair this morning. I beamed up at him with a really big smile.

He smiled back before he handed the girl the money. "Why this flower?" I asked as he carried me away. "I read a book, were they explained that white peonies represent young, witty and beautiful girls. I figured that this is fitting." I giggled a little while looking up at him. "Thank you." He just smiled and continued to carry me.

"Where are we going now?" I asked and he just shook his head. "That is a surprise." I pouted but he just shook his head smiling. "Now no pouting you'll love it, I promise." I just leaned my head on his chest and watched the houses go by. "Can I already get a hint?" He just shook his head.

"You're a meanie, Joe." "Am I now?" He asked rasing his eyebrows making me nod, so he started to tickle my side making me giggle and gasp for air. "Stop please." I giggled and he stopped, before pressing a kiss on my hair.

"Come on now pretty girl, we are almost there." "Okay." I looked around, but didn't really see anything that looked different from what was around us. Then suddenly stopped in front of a store. Looking around there were tons of people. Like way to many people, all wanting to go into this store. Thanks to being carried by Joe I could read the name of the store, Hamleys, and from what I could see it sold toys. 

"Is this a toy store?" I asked him really excited. "Yes. It's one of the best in London and when I was young I used to go here with my parents to buy toys."

I smiled as he made his way through the crowd and got inside. "So on this level are all the stuffies and two stories above are like all girls' toys, so I figured we could check out those two." "Yes please." Joe carried me around, looking at all the stuffies, till I saw a really pretty pink llama.

"Can we go over there?" He nodded and carried me to the Llamas. I picked one up and looked at Joe. "Look, it's so pretty and cuddly." He smiled. "It is. What is its name?" I thought about it and looked down at the stuffie, as Joe started to carry me towards the escalators.

"Mallow." I said and smiled up at him. "That's a good name." He agreed as we reached the second floor.

"You can walk around if you want to. I'll stay close by and there are not a lot of people." He told me and set me down on the floor. I started to run around and look at all the toys, costumes and makeup kits. "Look, that's pretty." I told Joe pointing at one of the makeup kits, making him shake his head. "No you are way too pretty to wear any makeup."

"That's what mommy always says." I rolled my eyes while looking at him. "Well she's right and in all honesty I think she could stop wearing makeup too." He told me and gave me a warm smile.

"Now go pick something else." I sighed and started to look around more. Then I saw a kit with glitter to put in your roots. I picked it up and turned around with puppy eyes to look at Joe.

"Can I have this please?" I pouted a little and started to smile, when he sighed and nodded. "Now come on baby. Let's go pay." I took his hand and followed him towards the escalator, when I saw a really pretty backpack. It was turquoise, with lots of scribbles in purple, pink, black and white and it was really, really pretty. 

"Joe. Wait." I said and tried to get out of his arms. "Look at that backpack, it's so pretty." I heard him sigh. When I turned around to look at him he looked like he was having an inner debate. "Please Joe. Please." I shook his shoulder slightly, looking him straight in the eyes.

He sighed and fifteen minutes later I walked out of the store with the glitter and fortune cookies inside my new backpack. Mallow was on my arm as Joe carried me back to our car. 

"It's a little too early for lunch isn't it? Why don't we drive to the place I think we should go. There is a playground nearby." 

"Okay sounds good." Joe started the car to a park and then to a parking lot nearby.
 
"Do you want to leave your bag here?" I nodded and left Mallow and my bag in the back seat of the car. He took my hand and started to lead me through the park. There were loads of trees and some small ponds. 

"Look, there's the playground. Go ahead and play." He told me and let go of my hand. I looked at him and he nodded again so I started to rub towards the playground. There were swings and slides and lots of other kids.

I immediately started to climb one of the walls, so I could see Joe coming to the playground. I waved at him and he waved back, making me smile. One of the girls on the playground was using the slides and after she finished I used it. She turned around to me and smiled.

"Hello I'm Millie and I'm six." I smiled at her. "I'm Emilie. Nice to meet you." She had her hair in two pigtails and was wearing a school uniform.

"Do you wanna play together?" I nodded and she smiled. "Come let's ask some of the other kids to play hide and seek." She pulled me with her towards some of the other kids. "This is Emilie and I'm Millie. Do you want to play hide and seek with us?" Two other kids nodded. "I'm Michael, this is my sister Jamie." I gave the two a smile, while staying more or less quiet. 

"Okay I'm gonna count to twenty and you hide somewhere then I have to find you. The first person to be found has to search in the next round." I nodded, that doesn't sound too hard. I'm good at hiding. Millie turned around and started counting so we started to run around and hide.

I decided to hide behind the bushes near the fence. I heard Millie yell that she'd start searching now and started to hold my breath and make myself even smaller. When she found me she had already found Michael so now we were looking for Jamie. We played five rounds before Jamie and Michael had to go.

"Bye." Millie yelled as they went before she turned to me. "Do you wanna make cakes? Or maybe use the swings? Or we could play tag? Or we could go climb onto the top of the ship?" "Yeah let's climb and play pirates." I told her and she nodded giggling. Together the two of us started to climb onto the ship. 

Millie stood behind the steering wheel, while I climbed further up. "Where to go?" She yelled up giggling and I started giggling as well. "Uhm right." "Ayay."  For a while we traveled quite alright through the sea. "Oh no. Captain there's a storm right in front of us." I shouted down from the crows nest. "I'll try to go around it, but better come down." I did as the captain said and started my down. "The wind is really strong." I was thrown around by the wind until I reached the bridge. Standing next to the captain we were ready to face the storm, the only problem was that the storm was too strong. "The ship is going to going down, there are stones everywhere. We need to leave it now." She yelled against the wind and together we jumped into the ice cold water and tried to swim. The ship went down leaving a few wooden pieces to swim towards.

The captain and I somehow survived the night of the storm, waiting for a miracle. We were saving our energy when we found an island. Just as we were going to explore on that island Millie's Mom and Joe came towards us.

"No, those are the people living here. They are going to eat us." Millie giggled and we started to run away. "Millie Josephine. Come back here now." Millie stopped running and looked sad.  "But mommy we were having so much fun." I looked at Joe sadly, he smiled at me. "I know but it's time to go now." "But when are we going to see each other again?" Millie asked her mom and Joe and nodded agreeing with her.

"How about this. We exchange numbers and we can try to set up a playdate soon okay?" We nodded and watched as they exchanged phone numbers. "I took some pictures of the girls playing to show Emilies mom, do you want me to send them to you?" Millies mom nodded. "Yeah that'd be nice. Thank you. Come on now Millie, we gotta go."

"Bye Millie." I said to the red head and hugged her. "Bye Emilie." Joe took my hand and started to lead me out of the park towards the street with the Cafe where we wanted to eat.

"Did you have fun?" I nodded excitedly. "Yeah Millie is fun and we were pirates on a sinking ship and you and her mom were the people living on the island we wanted to live on now and we wanted to run away cause you wanted to eat us." He smiled down at me lovingly. We had to cross a street and walk down a small alleyway till we reached the Cafe Joe had chosen. 

"Now where do you wanna sit?" He asked me after opening the door. It was a small Cafe with couches and pretty small chairs and tables. "There." I pointed to a table with two pinkish armchairs. He nodded and we  took a seat. A waitress brought us the menu, of course I didn't get one myself since I didn't look old enough. 

"Here you can have it, but if it's okay with you I'll order the food, since I want to surprise you. So just look for something to drink." I nodded. "Can I have apple juice, please?" He nodded and as the lady came back he ordered our drinks and pointed to something in the menu to order the food.

"I was thinking that after the food we can go home and maybe read a book or something." "Yeah, sounds good." I smiled at him. "Can we maybe call mommy later?" He nodded. "Of course, she'll want to talk to you before bed." I smiled, because even though mommy and I had just been together this morning and Joe and I had fun I missed mommy. 

Joe was making small talk with me, while we waited for the food, just talking about the day and what I liked the best, definitely the fact that there were no bugmen. The food came, it was a silver thing with three tiers. "What's that?" I asked him looking up.

"It's called an etagere. There are different foods on each tier." The woman set it down on the table. "On the lowest we have sandwiches with egg or cucumber, the middle tier there are scones with clotted cream and jam and on the top tier petit fours and macarons." He explained making me look at him with big eyes.

"That's so much." He smiled. "There comes the tea then we can eat the food." I nodded and watched as the waitress poured two cups of tea. "Emilie, I'm gonna take a picture of you for your mom, okay?" I nodded and gave him a big smile as he took the picture. 

"Well go ahead and eat some of the food." I nodded and watched as he took one of the egg sandwiches, so I took the same one and tried it. I nodded and happily it was really good. After finishing the first sandwich I took one with cucumbers but that wasn't as good as the first one. "You like the egg one better?" I nodded. "Me too, you don't have to finish it if you don't want to. We still have other things to eat." I nodded and put the sandwich aside. "What's that?" I asked pointing at the buns filled with clotted cream. 

"Scones. It's like a sweet bun with sweet cream and jam. It's pretty traditional for British tea time." I nodded and took one. We both ate one and I had to admit it was really good. Pretty sweet but really tasty. "This is so good." Joe smiled at me.

"My mom taught me how to make them if you want I can teach you and your mom how to make them at home." I nodded smiling. "Yes please." He smiled back at me as I took another one. "Try a bite and then drink some tea." He said and I did. The tea was a bit bitter and herby and the scone was still really sweet. So it was perfectly balanced.

"That's so good." I said looking at him with wide eyes. He just smiled as he took another sip of tea. 

I grabbed on of the macarons, the pink one and munched it, before drinking some more tea. After Joe and I finished most of the food, not the cucumber sandwiches, Joe paid and we went back to the car. 

"Let's go back home okay?" I nodded. It had been a long day and I was getting really tired. 

"Can we read?" He nodded and gave me a smile. The drive was only like ten minutes long, so after Joe put the car into park and helped me out of the car, we were now in the house, Joe making tea and hot chocolate and I changing into my PJ'S.

Mallow and the backpack were sitting on my bed, but I decided to take them back downstairs, so I could show mommy when we called her. 

"Hey Emi. Do you have a book you want to read? We have some time to kill before we gotta make dinner."  "Yeah." I pulled out the second Harry Potter book. He smiled and settled on the couch next to me.

Just like usually with Mommy I cuddled into him as he started reading. He was doing different voices for different characters, so when he asked me to read Hermione I did.

It was really fun and we finished two chapters before Joe's phone started ringing. He looked on it and smiled. "It's your mom." I smiled as he answered the call and mommy's face popped up on the screen. "Hey there." She said and smiled at us. "Hey mommy." "Hey Taylor." We answered and smiled at her. "Did you have a good day, baby?" I nodded excitedly. "Yeah Joe and I had lots of fun and I made a friend, her name is Millie." She smiled. "That's nice, I hope you tell me all about it tomorrow." I nodded excitedly.

"How was your day mommy? Did you have fun?" She smiled a little bit more. "Well I practiced some and talked to some of the people I work with. We finished almost all of the preparations for tonight and most of the fans are here, so we are gonna start in like twenty minutes." I looked down sadly.

"You're not gonna call before bedtime?" She shook her head sadly. "No baby. I'm sorry, but I'll be back before you know it." I nodded sadly. "Kay, but I miss you mommy." She smiled a little. "I miss you too baby and I love you so much. Joe is taking good care of you though right?" I nodded again.

"Yeah he got me a new friend." I picked up Mellow and held her so Mommy could see her. "Woah that's a pretty Llama. What's her name?" "Mellow, cause she looks like a Marshmallow." "She really does." She nodded smiling. "And now we are reading Harry Potter. Joe does all the voices differently and I read the female voices all differently. Maybe tomorrow you can read with us too." She nodded.

"Of course I can baby. I'd like that." Joe smiled as I cuddled into him, while looking at Mommy on the phone. "And Joe said he'd teach us how to make scones." She smiled and looked at Joe I think.

"I have to go in in bit to get ready, but I love you both and I'm happy to be home with you tomorrow."  "I love you mommy." I mumbled as Joe smiled. "I love you too, Taylor." Mommy smiled and blew us a kiss before she had to hang up.

"You miss her?" Joe asked and I nodded. "I've been with her for almost a year and we've always been together." I mumbled looking down. "I'm sorry baby, but you know she loves you and she'll be back really early tomorrow." I nodded and gave him a sad smile.

"What do you want for dinner?" He then asked giving me a smile. "Mac and Cheese?" "Alrighty little miss. Wanna eat in front of the TV?" "We could watch a movie." I nodded and followed him into the kitchen, were he started to make Mac and cheese.

I was sitting close by and coloring a little since his kitchen  was really small and I couldn't really help him. After he had finished the cooking he carried over two portions and I carried over two glasses.

There was already water and juice on the table. "Can we watch the little mermaid?" "Of course princess." He turned the movie on and we started to eat, after I finished I put my plate on the table.

The movie was long and I started to get tired, but we finished all of the movie. Before I went to bed. Joe followed me and after I brushed my teeth he tucked me in. "Goodnight Joe." "Goodnight Emilie. If you need anything you can come to me." I nodded and gave him another smile. 

I closed my eyes and started to think about the day we had today and what I wanted to do tomorrow. But I quickly started to fall asleep. 

Along time later I woke up, because I heard the door open. I moved a little bit and opened my eyes. "Hey Baby. It's just me go back to sleep." I heard Mommys voice so I sat up. "Mommy?" She was wearing her PJ'S and her hair was open. "Are you going to bed?" She nodded and smiled at me. "Can you sleep in my bed?" She smiled and climbed into my bed and pulled me to her chest. "Go back to sleep my baby. I love you." I smiled and cuddled closer to her. "I love you too."
