"How much I missed you, Angel!" Crystal exclaimed hugging Angela.
"Me too," Angela replied.
"Where's Zay?" Crystal asked.
"Um... I... I don't know?" Angela replies with hesitation as she herself came with Zayon but entered his house before him and till now he hasn't entered. She didn't know if he will come inside or has he already left for somewhere.

"Don't worry dear he has gone out for some important work." Kayon covered up for his son's absence as Zayon already informed him that he's going out for some work and will come late and also to hide the second fact from his mom as she won't let him go anywhere as today its Angela's birthday, even Kayon told him to respond.his work but Zayon assured him that its important and can't be postponed. Then he wished Angela, "Happy birthday my Angel." Angela hugged him in return. "So what does my Angela want on her birthday?" He asked her. "A nice get together whenever you can," Angela replied and he nodded his head in agreement.

"Hey, Angela you're here. Happy birthday, girl. Let's go upstairs. Mom has brought a beautiful dress for you, let's try it." Shelby said as soon as she saw Angela.
"It was supposed to be a surprise, Shel." Crystal furrowed her brows and asked in an irritated tone.
"Oops! Sorry, mom. Anyways Angel comes let's not waste more time." Saying so, Shelby dragged Angela behind her and headed upstairs.

"See Kayon your daughter always spoils my surprise." Crystal complained.
"Don't mind her Cryst, she is always full of excitement. You know we can learn how to live life to its fullest from her. I don't have a problem with her nature as she is just like my mom, always full of excitement and liveliness. That's why I love my little Grey more than Zay and Kyle." Kayon shrugged. Crystal smiled as she is fully aware that her daughter is indeed the liveliness of their home and their life.

"Is everything done?" Angela asked for the tenth time in these last few hours. Shelby made her wear the dress that Crystal gifted her, then did her hair and now she's doing her makeup.
"Just a final touch up and it's over." Saying so, Shelby gave her the final touch up.

"Now I'll get ready and we'll leave soon." Shelby then leaves her alone in Zayon's room. Today Angela is feeling alone in his room. She has been here many times but today Zayon's absence and his negligence are giving her strange feeling. Admiring his room she glances around. His room has this sky theme only because she once told him that she loves that theme and the very next day he changed the theme of his room. There were clouds, sky and a moon on his bedside wall.

Today she felt so much insulted, so much humiliation because of his negligence. How she wished to get her old Zayon back. They were the best friends since their childhood but she couldn't remember why and how they suddenly became distant and why he is suddenly behaving rudely with her?

How happy she was on this same day when he gifted her Angel's locket and chain the previous year. I love you Angel was written on the inside and a diamond angel was there on the outside and here today he insulted her and didn't even wished her. Maybe he even forgot her birthday. With this thought, her eyes got filled up with tears and she tried to control them as She didn't want to spoil Shelby's hard work.

"Let's go Angel." Angela heard Kayon's voice.
"Where are we going?" She asked him.
"It's a surprise dear." Saying so he headed outside. Shelby along with Crystal, Angela and Kyle followed him.
"Where's Zay dad?" Kyle asks as soon as they enter the car.
"He's a grown-up boy and grown-up boys have important works to do and Zay has gone to do the same," Kayon replies breaking Angela's heart further. Why can't we remain kids forever she wishes?

When they reached her home, Angela got surprised seeing the party. Her parents, Casper and her grandma Sophie, Zayon's grandpa Daniel, Crystals parents, Drayton, few of her dad's employees and their neighbours were present but the one whom her heart demanded is absent.

"Come, let's cut the cake," Casper said.
"Can we wait for sometime?" She asked still hoping that Zayon will show up at any moment.
"Why? Everyone is present here, let's not waste some more time." Casper replies.
"Oh dear! Are you waiting for Zayon?" Crystal enquires.
"My prince is struck up with some important work so he won't be here. I just forgot to inform you." Ednil's reply broke her broken heart once more. Maybe he's enjoying his time with Riha she thought. Controlling her tears she smiled to make all those people happy who worked hard for her party.

After she cut the cake, everyone gave her gifts. Besides her family rest, all left after dinner. When she's about to climb upstairs Ednil tells her, "go take some rest Angel you might be tired. We all are going for a short drive, we'll try to come soon." Saying so he calls everyone as they all were present downstairs since the time she came and except Angela, they all headed outside.

Why has everyone suddenly turned selfish? She asks herself. They should have taken her with them, it's her special day today not their's but they already left and now she has no reason to hide her tears. So she let them fall freely entering her room. But the moment she entered inside she gets shocked. She instantly turned around and runs downstairs only to find her dad standing at the entrance with a huge smile on his face. "Dad did you..." Before she could complete Ednil replies, "get ready and enjoy your surprise. Become a real Angel today." Saying so he leaves.

She then runs inside her room. Her room is decorated in such a way that it appears as if stars are present on her walls and ceiling and a beautiful Angel gown is placed on her bed. She feels so happy that today her dad made her feel like a real angel. Taking the gown she goes inside her walk-in closet all sadness and worries long forgotten.
