Tears slipped down my eyes, I wiped them off immediately. I moved into the bathroom to take a shower. I came out after 20 minutes and got ready to leave for my work. My phone rang, it was my mother calling. I picked up the phone and smiled "haan mumma"

"mannu Aarav se mili?" she asked me.

"haan aaj hum dinner karne wale hai" I replied.

"acha great main yeh puch rahi thi kaunse colour ka wedding dress chahiye tujhe?" she asked me.

I smiled lightly and said "mumma aap jo loge wo main pehen lungi"

"Arey bakwas mat kar. Shadi teri hai, meri nahi. Chal ab jaldi bata" Ruhana asked me again.

"red and white combo" I replied. We talked for sometime and I left for my work.

I attended the meetings with delegates and around 4 pm, I reached back my hotel. I laid down on bed and took a power nap. The ring of my phone, disturbed my sleep. I opened my eyes and moved my hands to reach the phone which was lying on the side table of bed. I managed to grabbed it and kept it on my ear after touching the green symbol.

"Hello"

The voice from other side said "Manvi it is 7 pm get ready I will be coming to pick you up"

I sat up immediately, I looked at the time and it was 7 pm "yea Aarav I will be ready" and ended the call.

I hopped off the bed and changed my casual clothes to something fashionable. It was our first dinner date and I wanted it to be perfect. I just wanted to forget about Ritvik and be happy with Aarav, my present and future both. He is a person whom every girl could dream of. He is caring, loving and respectful. I combed my hairs and then moved down to the lobby locking the room door.

I saw him entering in, he passed me his most innocent smile. I smiled back to him, he stood in front of me and praised me "bahut achi lag rahi ho"

I looked down shyly and smiled "chale?" I asked.

He nodded in yes and we walked out of the hotel. He opened the door of the car and I sat in. He closed the door while looking at me and then moved to the driver's seat. He sat in and ignited the car, he was driving and I asked him "hum kahan jaa rahe hai?"

He said "hamara farmhouse hai yahan, wahin pe jaa rahe hai"

I was amazed and was excited to see his plan. Within next 30 minutes we reached his farmhouse, it was beautiful. I stepped out of the car and looked at the lawn.

He asked "kaisa laga?"

I replied "bahut hi acha hai Aarav"

"chalo" he said while forwarding his hand in front of me. I kept my hand on his and then we walked inside.

A table was arranged right in middle of the lawn, he asked me to sit and I obeyed him.

A waiter came and served us the juice. After about 20 minutes, the food was served to us.

I tasted the food and it was too delicious, he asked me "toh kal ka kya plan hai?"

I smiled and said "Aarav mujhe ek do showrooms mein kaam hai kal, fir 4 din main free hun. Shopping karni hai yahan se"

"oh that is great. I hope you don't mind agar main tumhare saath aaun toh?" he asked.

I nodded "sure mujhe koi problem nahi hai"

I was done with the food, I cleaned my mouth with the napkin.

He asked "shall we move inside? "

I nodded in yes, we got up and moved into the farm house. I looked around at the beauty of the house. My phone rang, I picked it up and it was my father calling.

"hello papa" I said happily.

He asked me teasingly "kaisi rahi first date with hone wala pati?"

I sighed and said "kya papa aap bhi na.. main toh ab bhi Aarav ke saath hi hun"

He said "acha? Toh kahin maine disturb toh nhi kiya?"

"nahi toh! bas abhi nikal jaungi wapas hotel" I answered him.

He said "thik hai beta. Tum jab chali jaati ho na yeh ghar kaatne ko daudta hai fatafat wapas aao"

I smiled and said "haan papa bas 4 din aur kat lo fir aati hun main wapas. Milke satayenge mumma ko"

He laughed and said "haan thik hai acha main rakhta hun. Tum enjoy karo bye"

He ended the call and I smiled. Then suddenly, I felt a hand on my waist, I turned in shock and it was Aarav. He asked me "kya hua?"

I stepped back and nodded "kuch nahi"

He held my wrist and then pulled me closer, I kept my hands on his chest to stop myself from falling on top of him. I asked surprisingly "Aarav tum kya kar rahe ho?"

"well tum meri fiancee ho itna haq toh banta hai na" he said with a smile on his face.

I freed myself from his grip and said "Aarav kafi time ho gaya hai mujhe hotel wapas jaana chahiye ab"

He nodded and his face fell off, he asked "lagta hai tumhe yeh ghar aur ye dinner pasand nhi aaya"

I shook my head negatively and replied "nahi aisa nahi hai it is really beautiful. Okay I will stay a bit longer"

His face glowed hearing this, he asked me sit on the couch. I settled down, he sat on side couch to my right, he asked "kuch aur logi?"

I denied as I was already full "nahi pehle hi bahut kha chuki hun"

An unknown silence prevailed between us for sometime, he finally broke the silence with asking "tumhe music pasand hai?"

I shook my head and said positively "haan"

He got up and went to the music player, he turned it on and the music played. He asked me "dance?"

I shook my head in yes and got up. He forwarded his hand and kept my hand on his and we started dancing. He was looking straight into my eyes with an innocent smile playing on his lips. I smiled back at him. The music had stopped but he was still lost in me, I said "Aarav.."

His trance was broken by this, he left me and said "Sorry"

I smiled, I looked at my watch, it showed 11 pm. I told him "Aarav kal mujhe kaam hai ab mujhe chalna chahiye"

He nodded and said "Chalo tumhe chod deta hun"

We moved out and sat inside the car. He starts driving, it had started to rain heavily. I said caringly "Aarav aaram se chalao"

He replied to me "don't worry hum bas pahuchne wale hai"

The next 15 minutes, we had arrived at the hotel where I was staying. I got down of the car and moved to his side. He lowered the window glass, I was so happy with the date and said "Thank you for this evening Aarav"

"Thanks ki kya baat hai kuch dino mein shaadi hone wali hai hamari" he said briefly.

I felt someone is watching us, I turned back but no one was there except the hotel staff. He asked me "kya hua?"

I turned to him and nodded "kuch nahi bye, see you" I replied.

He wished me goodnight and dozed off. I happily moved into the hotel, his this gesture amazed me and I was feeling so special. He was just perfect guy a girl could wish for. I opened the door of my room and entered inside, locking the door. I threw myself on bed and slept with the thoughts of my dinner date tonight.
