I look up from the hand that is blocking Katelyn's fist to see Kacey there. Behind him are the other members of the Jury of Nine.

"K-Kacey!" Katelyn stands there shocked.

"That's me. As I was saying, I don't think you should punch our leader. He keeps us in control." Kacey says, letting her go. Garroth sees Ivy and ducks under the table.

"Garroth, I'm not going to do anything." She tells him, making him pop his head up.

"You called me G-Garroth! Ahh! Fake Ivy!" He exclaims, going back under the table.

"The only reason I called you Groth was because of my lisp." She tells him. He sits down in the chair normally.

"I didn't know about that." Garroth replies. They both go into their own little conversation as the unfamiliar member shows himself.

"Hello, you must be Jessica. I'm Janus the Silver Death." He shakes my hand.

"Very nice to meet you." I tell him before turning to Zane who makes a motion, telling me to go to the side before walking away. "I have to go to the bathroom. I will be back in a minute to ask any questions." I tell everybody before following Zane.

"Why did you tell everybody about this?" Zane asks. I sigh.

"They deserved to know and we will need their help evacuating MyStreet when the time comes. I had a vision that told me it was next week." I explain to him.

"I see. Well anyway, I will get any information I can before the war so we can plan everything out. Let's go back now." Zane says before walking to the group. I actually go to the bathroom so it doesn't cause suspicion and I quickly wash my hands. As I am drying them, I get a call.

"Hello. Aphmau speaking." I answer the phone without looking at the caller ID.

"Jess! Where are you? Sky has been looking for you for the past hour. He seems to be going crazy." Barney says on the other end of the phone.

"Oh? I just went out with my friendship group. Don't worry, I'm safe. Laurence and Vylad are here plus some other friends who can fight." I tell him.

"Well can you at least tell me where you are?" He asks.

"Nope because then you will tell Sky and I will have to leave my friends." I complain to him.

"Well either way, he is still on his way. He took Jins detector so he's coming after you now. All of us are actually with him right now, just wanted to see if you would make this easier for us to find you. Oh look! We're here! See you in a minute." Barney hangs up, making me panic.

"Hey Aphmau! Here you are. You are taking a while." All of the girls come in.

"The guys are coming because I snuck off without permission." I groan.

"Even after I got at Jin for letting you have more freedom?" Lucinda says.

"It's more of Sky wanting me. Also they are already here." I tell them before walking out of the bathroom door. There, I see Max holding Ross on his side, his head towards the door. He starts to run towards the door with Ross but stops when he sees us.

"Hey! Don't use Ross to slam the door down!" Katelyn runs out and hits Max over the head, making him mad.

"Hey! Don't just hit me!" Max shouts before chasing Katelyn, dropping Ross before he does so.

"Owwie..." Ross sits up, rubbing his arm. I hold my hand out and he takes it, allowing me to pull him up.

"Jess! How many times do we have to tell you to not leave without us!" You could have been kidnapped again!" Sky puts his hands on my shoulders, making me groan in annoyance.

"You don't control my life. I don't need your permission to hang out with my friends!" I shout at him.

"You need to be safe! All we want to do is make sure you are safe. That is our job as your six protectors." He shouts back at me. I look at him with a shocked look.

"Why do you guys always want to protect me? You don't get anything out of this at all." I ask him, defeat in my voice.

"Because you changed us all, gave us a home, gave us a family, gave us magic. You never once questioned why we were in that warehouse, fighting to survive. You helped us all and now we want to help you in return." He tells me. I sigh.

"Remember my first encounter with the shadow?" I ask him, him nodding in return. "It showed me... beating you all up and murdering you over and over again. It was in repeat for what felt like hours to me but was only a few seconds to you. It gave me nightmares." I tell him. "I've been scared to fight at my full potential because I was afraid I would lose control."

"Look. You never have to be afraid of that because it will never happen. Just trust me... trust us." By now, everybody has left us and is outside, just talking. Sky gives me a determined look. "We can protect ourselves. You will never have to fear hurting us. Just let us help you train." I look at him and nod, making him smile.

"Let's go home. I think we have a long week ahead of us.
