(This book is still on hiatus but I decided to post another chapter for you amazing people)

Aphmau POV

I stay curled up with Scales in my bedroom, too weak to stand up from the vision. Apparently the guys are deaf if they didn't hear me fall or didn't hear Scales roaring to get their attention.

"What now?" I ask him.

"No idea. Do you have your energy back yet?" He asks me. I try to sit up but fall back onto him.

"Nope." I reply before getting an idea. I use my dark hand and make it small before grabbing my phone and putting in the number for Jin. It rings a few times before he picks up.

"Why are you calling me. I'm only down the stairs." Jin asks over the phone. Not even a hello! Is it hard to use manners these days?

"Help?" I ask, more of a question then an answer.

"Help with what?" He asks.

"Well the shadow thing appeared again and-" I am cut off by Jin teleporting in front of me.

"What did it do? Why did it appear?" He starts asking me questions until he notices Scales wrapped around me. "Why is Scales wrapped around you and you cuddling up to him?" He asks.

"I don't have enough energy after the vision and I woke up like this so I just stayed until I figured out a way to call you." I then explain to him the vision. He suddenly lifts me up and takes me down to the basement, Scales following us. He leads me to his room and places me on his bed before bringing a chair over and sitting in it.

"The guys went out so for now, it's just us. You are staying here until they return so I can keep an eye on you." Jin informs me before going over to his desk and turning his computer screen on. I just sigh before lying backwards and lifting Scales so he is arms length above me. I thought u was doing it myself until I saw his claws wrapped around my wrists and his wings flapping.

"I'm bored." I complain but Jin ignores me.

"Maybe you should get some rest. You don't even have enough energy to lift your arms." Scales tells me, placing my arms near my side. I pout but nod before falling back on the bed and grabbing the pillow, Scales helping because I still cannot do anything for myself. I just fall back to sleep.

Jin POV

I look back behind me after an hour or two to see Jess asleep. Scales comes over to me and is about to land when I hear a bang and something crashing. We both look at each other before grabbing my sword and running out of the room and up the stairs. There, a shadow knight was trying to break through the barrier around the house. The smash was the window. Great!

"Leave! Before I make you!" I shout, getting my sword ready. He smirks at me.

"Try me." I step outside of the barrier and we both start fighting. I easily pin him to the ground and hold my sword at his neck.

"Any last words?" I glare at him. He smirks at me.

"Look behind you." Before I get the chance to do anything, I am hit across the head, making me fall unconscious.

Scales POV

I look from inside the barrier to see a big guy knock Jin down and throw him over his shoulder. Before I could do anything though, he disappears, leaving the guy who Jin pinned down. That guy then starts to turn into Jin and walks through the barrier. This is bad! I need to tell Jess before it's too late. I quickly sneak down to the basement and lock the door before going to Jess.

"Jess! Emergency. Wake up!" I start to shake her, making her shoot up.

"What's happening? Where's Jin?" She asks, looking around. It looks like all of her energy is back.

"Two shadow knights came and kidnapped Jin. One then transformed into Jin and is now in the house! I quickly locked the door and woke you up." I look over at her and she looks back at me in the eye.

"What do we do?" She asks.

"I don't know..." I drift off, suddenly remembering something. "What about the others? We need to tell them!"

"We will. For now, just pretend that it's the real Jin. We need to warn the others now." She takes out her phone and calls one of the guys.

"Hello Jess? What's wrong?" I hear Sky over the phone.

"Big emergency. Somebody came and kidnapped Jin and a shadow knight turned into him. You need to get back immediately!" She exclaims over the phone.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Sky asks.

"No! I would never joke about this Sky. Please come back." She replies to him in a pleading tone.

"We will be there as soon as we can. For now, just stay in the basement. Is the door locked?" He asks.

"Yes. That was the first thing I did when it happened. I'm in Jin's room right now. Please hurry. I don't know what to do." She hangs up before turning to me.

"What now? We can't just wait here until they get back." I ask.

"We are gonna have to. We need to figure out how to get Jin back before something bad happens to him." She sighs before leaning back into the bed and closing her eyes. I fly over to the door and lock it before flying back over to Jess.

"How long will they be?" I ask. She shrugs.

"They never said anything but they will be here as soon as they can. Now we just play the waiting game."
