Aphmau POV

"Wait, how did you know where Sasha was?" Zenix asks me. I shrug.

"Magic I guess. I saw what happened then somehow used your own magic to open the portal. It took me hours to just find you! How did you get that far without flying?" I ask her. She shrugs.

"I landed on a dragon without him noticing and I tried to get back but couldn't." She explains to me.

"Well that dragon you rode was actually the king. He would also like to see you when you are fully recovered. For now, stay in bed." I tell her. She sighs.

"Who would have thought that Kitty cared so much?" She asks. I groan.

"My name isn't Kitty! It's Aphmau or Jess!" I complain, making everybody laugh. I just sigh and lean on the bed beside the two shadow knights before closing my eyes. Scales cuddles up next to me.

"Geez kitty, when was the last time you slept?" Zenix asks.

"I don't know. Sky?" I ask.

"Well you have been gone for over 24 hours so it depends if you slept." He replies, looking at his watch.

"Wait, you spent a day looking for me without food or sleep?" Sasha asks, her eyes widening in shock.

"Yup. You were in danger and I didn't know where you were." I mumble.

"T-thank you. Only Gene and Zenix have ever treated me this way." She says with real sincerity.

"Yes, thank you. Without you then I would have still been under the spell and Sasha could have gotten hurt." Zenix says after.

"It's no problem. Really. You guys needed help and now I'm tired from using too much energy. Goodnight." I mumble before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

Sky's POV

I put the blanket over a sleeping Jess before turning to Sasha and Zenix.

"You know, she used up all of her pure energy just to save you." Jin says, showing them the screen of the device we used to track Jess. The bar is red and her left wing is also red, showing that her wing is injured. It's something Jin created in his spare time to keep Jess under control.

"Well you both should come up with us and eat. You guys must be starved." I ask. They nod before getting off of the bed and following us up the stairs to where KC and Katelyn are. We called the others back and told them we found her so they should be here soon.

"Zenix? Sasha? What are they doing here." Katelyn glares at them. They both look away awkwardly.

"Ask Jess when she wakes up." I tell her. She quickly stands up and walks over to me.

"Where is she? When did she return?"" Katelyn starts firing questions at me but Jin stops her.

"She is sleeping right now and you aren't exactly helping." He tells her. She sighs before sitting back down in her chair while KC gets us all some breakfast.

"So what is the plan now?" Zenix asks us. Katelyn looks at us confused but we just ignore her.

"We don't know. We have to wait for Jess to wake up with the others before deciding." I tell them.

"We need to help Gene. He is still under the spell that Zenix was under." Sasha looks at Zenix.

"I will get to that as soon as I have a plan." I turn around to see Jess rubbing her eyes with Scales in her other arm, sleeping.

Aphmau POV

I couldn't really sleep so I came up the stairs with Scales who has his claw gripped onto my shirt. He looks so adorable when he is asleep!

"Jess, shouldn't you be asleep?" Jin asks me. I shrug before sitting in between Sasha and Zenix, taking the plate full of bacon.

"I woke back up so I came down here with Scales." I tell him. Suddenly, I am hugged to death by a blueberry.

"Aphmau! I was so worried about you. Never do that again!" Katelyn shouts, hugging me tight.

"Sure sure, just let go! I can't breathe!" I exclaim, making her let go. "Thank you! Anyway, I need to take Sasha to the Irene dimension. The dragon king wants to see her." I tell them before turning to Sasha.

"I'm okay with it." She just shrugs. I smile before finishing my food and standing up.

"Let's go then!" I cheer before grabbing Scales, Sasha and Barney, jumping through the portal Zenix created. He comes through with us before closing the portal.

"So what now?" Barney asks. I try to flap my wings so I can fly but it hurt too much so I stop. Scales is still asleep so I leave him in my arms.

"Hey look, there's a dragon. Hide!" Zenix shouts before jumping behind ambush with everybody else. I just stand out in the open, put my finger and thumb at the ends of my lips and whistle, catching its attention. It flies down and lands in front of me.

"What is your business here, human?" The dragon glares at me, showing me its fangs.

"I am Jessica, daughter of Irene. I would like to see King Arthur." I curtsy to the dragon slightly.

"So you are the humans the king has mentioned. Where is the other one?" He asks. The others come out of hiding. "Get on my back and I will fly you to the king." We all climb on his back, me having slight trouble with Scales in my arms. How does he not wake up! Soon, we are flying towards the cave.

"This may take a few hours. Good thing I packed snacks this time!" I cheer, holding out a backpack.

"When did you have the time to do that?" Zenix asks. "Last time I checked, you dragged us all straight in after eating."

"Do you really want to know?" I ask him.

"Yes, or I wouldn't have asked. So how-" Zenix starts but melts cut off.

"Trust me, you don't." Barney tells him.
