Aphmau POV

The images of my friends and family being tortured constantly play in my mind, making me scream and cry. They never seem to hear my shouts though as I slam my fists onto the glass box I cannot escape. Suddenly, a bright light appears next to me. It's Sky. He walks over to me.

"Come on Jess. It's time to leave." He tells me, reaching his hand out towards me but not touching me. I slowly place my hand on his, letting the scenery disappear.

"Please wake up!" I hear a female voice cry as I am shook. I open my eyes to see Katelyn above me, shaking me. I sit up and look around to see that I am in the floor with everybody surrounding me. Sky is kneeling down next to me, rubbing his eyes.

"What happened? Last thing I remember is..." I drift off, reaching my hand to my neck to feel the black heart giving off a dark aura.

"That's where the aura is coming from." Red says, taking it in his hands. Suddenly, he is shot backwards, hitting the wall and landing on my bed. I take it in my own hands and grip it, making the dark aura fade a little but not completely.

"The black heart. Where did you get that?" Ross asks, looking at me seriously. Everybody else look at him in confusion.

"Ross you know what this is? I've never seen it before in my life!" Jin exclaims.

"Jess, please tell me where you got that." Ross pleads tonn, ignoring Jin.

"Last night when I came out of the bathroom, that shadow came and gave it to me. He told me to protect it with my life and to never leave any of you guys for one second. Then he showed me t-these horrible visions! Then he told me sweet nightmares before trapping me in that glass box where Sky appeared!" I start to shake as I explained the story. Ross just sighs before hugging me, the heart not pushing him away but instead calms down.

"What is that thing Ross?" Max asks.

"The black heart. It contains lots of the shadow lords power that Lady Irene was able to seal away. It then disappeared and could not be found until now." Ross explains. "I was the only one told at the time by Lady Irene herself. For these past few years, I have been searching nonstop for it but never succeeded."

"Well I found it." I say, holding it up by the silver chain. It spins itself around before I put it back on my chest. Suddenly, the door bursts open and Laurence runs in, breathing heavily with KC following him.

"I sensed the shadow lord!" He exclaims, panting. I stand up with Barney and Reds help before walking over to Laurence.

"We're fine Laurence. It's just been a crazy night. The aura you sensed came off of this necklace around my neck." I explain to him, leading him onto my bed before stretching my aching back and neck. It's not comfy sleeping on the floor in a weird position.

"So you are okay Aph?" He asks. I nod and give him a reassuring smile.

"Oh! We have to get ready for work!" I shout, quickly grabbing some clothes and running into the bathroom. I hear everybody else go downstairs so I quickly take a shower before drying my hair and running down from my room. Katelyn pulls me to a seat next to her and pushes a plate in front of me that has bacon in it. I stuff it in my face. Laurence is also eating with us, now more calm.

"Are you ready for work Jess?" Barney asks. He sits down next to me and I nod. We just have to wait for the guys to come and then we can go.

"Ross! Get back here with my necklace!" Max shouts, running up the stairs. He looks over at us but we shrug, showing him that we don't know where Ross is. He runs back down the steps so I bend under the table and pick up the squirrel that has a Z necklace hanging out of its mouth.

"Hand it over." I hold out my hand and he spits the necklace out. I just sigh before placing him on the table and standing up, going down to the basement. My eyes widen in shock at the changes made. It's huge! The walls are also white and there looks like there are more rooms. In the main room there is many computers and books on the left side while there are training dummy's and weapons on the right. Max runs up to me.

"Have you seen Ross?" He asks. His hair is still wet from taking a shower. I just hand him his spit covered necklace. "Thanks!" He says before running back through the door that has a golden Z on it. I wonder what happened to KCs shipping shrine? Actually, I don't wanna know. All of the guys come out of their rooms.

"Hey Jess. Like what we did? Impressive isn't it." Jin says, holding his arms out to make me look around. I nod.

"How did you do this so quickly?" I ask, still looking around.

"That's a secret!" Red smirks at me before using his magic to make me float in the air.

"Ahh! Red, put me down!" I shout as they all walk up the steps, me floating after them against my will.

"Okay." He drops me, making me groan.

"I hate you. Why am I friends with you?" I ask, standing back up.

"Because you love us!" He sings. I just groan before walking out to my car. Everybody follows me and Katelyn waves us goodbye while Laurence goes back to his house. Time to have so much fun work! Note the sarcasm
