Extreme Rules had now come around, and Anthony had been locked in mind games with Drew McIntyre for the past few weeks on Raw, eventually leading to this Extreme Rules title match. He was backstage, with Sasha, trying to get him prepared.

Sasha: You got this babe. Tonight is your night, so go out there and show everyone why you deserve to hold that belt!

Anthony: Thanks Sash, that really helped! Now you'd better get out there, you're commentating on the women's title match!

Sasha: Yeah, good point babe!

They shared a kiss before Sasha had to leave.

Sasha: I love you...

Anthony: I love you too... more than anything. Now go... before I decide to do something with that phat boot-ay of yours!

He grabbed it firmly and squeezed it, turning her on a little.

Sasha: Mmm, you tease...

She then left to commentate on the Raw Women's Championship Ladder Match between Peyton Royce, who got split from Billie Kay in the Shake-Up, Ember Moon, Nikki Cross, and a mystery 4th woman. Nobody knew who it would be as Sasha headed out first to a warm reception, followed by the challengers. After all 3 had made their entrance, they then waited to see who was the 4th entrant was, until...

Celtic Invasion blared out across the arena, and out came The Man, Becky Lynch. She had been out of action since Wrestlemania, where Asuka surprisingly turned heel and attacked Becky's knee to the point where Becky would be out for 4 months. And now she was back.

All 4 stared at each other before going at it, while Sasha was asked questions on the desk.

Renee: So Sasha, do you have any particular preference on who you want to win the match?

Sasha: Personally, I'd like to see any one of them win it. All of these girls have something to prove. But in my opinion, I'd love to see either Ember or Becky win it. Ember's never had a title match on the main roster, as far as I recall, and Becky deserves it purely for what she went through the past few months.

Michael: I have to ask... why did you choose a ladder match as the stipulation?

Sasha: Well, after seeing what the Women can do in Money In The Bank ladder matches, I thought why not just go with it for a title? It's Extreme Rules, after all!

As the match progressed, key moments took place. Ember and Becky hit a double team suplex off the ladder on Nikki, while Peyton then hit a powerbomb on Becky, off one ladder and through one on the outside, bridged onto the announce table. Then when it came to the ending, Ember hit the Eclipse on Peyton from the top of the ladder, before then making the ascension herself and slowly grabbing the belt in victory.

Jojo: Here is your winner, and the NEW Raw Women's Champion, Ember Moon!!!

Sasha went down to applaud Ember on her big victory. She had been on the roster for over a year and not even sniffed the chance of a title. Now she was the champion.

Sasha: Congrats girl, you deserve this so much...

Ember: This is a dream come true, thank you!

They shared a hug and Ember even shed a few tears at her success and what she had achieved. After that match the focus was then on the main event, for the Universal Championship. Drew had never been more ready for a title shot, and Anthony had to be focused and on his game. The entrances were done and once the bell rang, the two went face to face in the middle of the ring.

Anthony: You'll just try and fail.

Drew: The only person that will fail in this match is you... when that title becomes mine.

Anthony: Less talk, more action.

Drew then headbutted Anthony and proceeded to beat him down. When Anthony grabbed a chair, and went to attack Drew, the Scottish Psychopath hit a Claymore kick with the chair going straight in Anthony's face, which seemed to knock him out.

Ref: 1... 2...

Somehow, Anthony threw a shoulder up, to the annoyance of Drew. A table was then set up and Anthony was about to be hit with a devastating powerbomb through it. But as Drew got him up on his shoulders, Anthony countered and hit a hurrican-rana, sending Drew through the table instead of him. Anthony then pulled up Drew's limp body, rolled him back into the ring and covered him.

Ref: 1... 2...

Drew then kicked out with authority, surprising Anthony the most. He then set up Drew for his Fading Light submission hold, with a chair wrapped around his leg, and even though Anthony pulled at his leg as much as possible, Drew somehow got to the ropes and broke the hold, and as the ref pulled Anthony off Drew, the Scot shook the chair off his leg, and then hit Anthony with a low blow, then 2 Claymore kicks.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!!!

Jojo: Here is your winner, and the NEWWW WWE Universal Champion, Drew Mcintyre!

Drew stood over the limp body of Anthony and raised the title in celebration as the crowd were in shock. But someone else who was shocked was Sasha. She couldn't believe what she had seen. When Anthony had made his way to the back, limping slightly, Sasha was in a bad mood.

Sasha: What the hell was that? Weren't you supposed to retain?

Anthony: Sash...

Sasha: You were meant to lose it at Summerslam, not tonight! Who the hell made that decision for you to lose tonight?

Anthony: Me. I did.

Sasha went wide eyed in shock.

Sasha: What? But... why?

Anthony: Because I wanted to. I asked Hunter before the PPV started and he agreed with me that tonight I would lose the title.

Sasha: But... I thought...

Anthony: It's for the best, Sash. You're pregnant with our baby, and I wanna be with you for every second of this. Parenthood is gonna be a whole new experience for me, and this is what I thought was best.

Sasha: But, why didn't you tell me?

Anthony: I had planned to, but I thought it would have been better if I told you after my match rather than before. Obviously I was wrong.

Anthony then proceeded to his locker room, while Sasha was in shock as to what she had heard. She wanted to follow him, but thought better of it, and thought he could do with some space. So instead, she decided to message Bayley.

Sasha: You see what happened tonight?

Bayley: If you mean Ant losing his title, yeah. What the hell were creative thinking?

Sasha: Bay, it was his decision.

Bayley: WHAT?!

Sasha: He said he wanted to give it up tonight to be with me during my pregnancy. I threw a fit at him afterwards because he didn't tell me. Now I feel bad cos he feels bad too.

Bayley: I see... well, it might help to give him some space. Besides, you do have a tendency to over-react to these kind of things.

Sasha: Perhaps I do... thanks for the talk.

Bayley: Anytime, bestie!

Sasha had a look of guilt on her face as she made her way to Anthony's locker room. She quietly knocked on the door, breaking the silence.

Sasha: Ant, it's me. C-can we talk?

He didn't respond, he just opened the door and let her in.

Sasha: Ant... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have reacted like that.

He didn't speak, he just looked at her from the corner of his eye.

Sasha: Look, I've been speaking with Bayley, and she said to give you some space, but to be honest, I don't know what to do.

Anthony: Sasha... I don't blame you.

Sasha: What?

Anthony: I don't blame you for reacting the way you did. If anything, I should be the one saying sorry. I should have told you sooner.

Sasha didn't know how to react. She knew Anthony was a fragile person, so she gently grasped his hand and held it in hers.

Sasha: Ant... I love you with all my heart, and I always will, no matter what happens between us. Through thick and thin, we will go through it...

She took his hand and held it against her stomach.

Sasha: Together. No matter what... we do this together.

Anthony raised a wry smile as he then kissed his girlfriend.

Anthony: How did I get so lucky?

Sasha: Just you being you. No luck was involved... it was more like fate.

Anthony: I guess so... I'm not on Raw tomorrow night, so let's head home...

They then hugged and headed to the parking lot and made their way home, with Sasha dreaming of the future.

Sasha: Mmm...

Anthony: What you thinking about, babe?

Sasha looked at him, then at her stomach and thought about what could lie ahead for the couple.

Sasha: Oh, nothing... just some good stuff...
