Ryleigh POV

I couldn't wait to get off this plane, it had been a hard few days filing Raw and doing house shows and I was ready for a rest. On top of that Roman and the guys had been travelling doing promo work and I had missed him terribly, for some reason a few days away from him had felt like an eternity. All I wanted was to get to our room and curl up in his arms for the rest of the night. In the month we had been together with the exception of the last few days we had barely been apart, the only time we were was when one of us was in the ring.

Our next show was in Florida and that's where my plane had just landed, Roman had offered to pick me up and knowing he was right inside just a few meters away from me made my heart race. I get to luggage claim and find my case fairly quickly, I speed walk my way through to the arrival lobby and whip my head round trying to spot my man.

Almost like a scene from a movie the crowd parts and there he stands, a beautiful smile on his face and a huge bouquet of freesias in his hand. When I reach him he wraps me up with his free arm and kisses me lovingly.

"I missed you babygirl" he says "these are for you" he says handing me the flowers.

"There beautiful Ro, thank you and I missed you too" I say kissing his cheek "but what did I do to deserve these?"

"What? I need a reason to treat my girl?" He asks raising his eyebrows

"No of course not, it was just unexpected" I say "I'm sorry"

"That was the point" he chuckles "its not a surprise if you know about it"

He grabs my case and wraps his free arm around my shoulders pulling me into his side as we walk towards his car. I get in the passenger seat as he puts my case in the trunk.

"Alright, ready relax with your man?" He asks

"Absolutley" I smile

As he drives I'm completely focused on him, so focused that I'm paying no mind to where we are going. Suddenly I realise we are in a residential area and pretty sure the building in front of us is not our hotel.

"Ro where are we?" I ask as he parks the car

"We're in my home town babygirl, you didn't think I was going to let you stay in a hotel did you?" He smiles

"This is your home?" I ask and he nods "it's incredible"

"I thought it would be nice to have some time together away from everyone" he says "you know quality time"

"Roman Reigns are you up to something?" I chuckle

"Maybe" he smirks "Today marks one month since you agreed to be my girl, I wanted to make tonight special, memorable even" he says getting out of the car.

I follow suit and I follow him as he wheels my case up to the front door, he guides me in and turns on the lights. His home is truly beautiful, and I can't help but gaze around at this place.
Roman takes my hand and leads me outside to the pool area, a few steps down from there is a private beach area where he has set up a blanket and cushions.

"I thought we could watch the sunset together" he says "I couldn't think of a better setting for what I have planned" he says sitting down and motioning for me to join him.
I sit myself between his legs and lean back agaisnt him as he wraps his arms around me. He presses a soft kiss to my temple and then rests his chin on my shoulder.

"The few days we've been apart really opened my eyes" he says "people put so much effort into proposals, weddings but there are other moments that I believe deserve the same effort, there are other important moments in a relationship that should be memorable"

"What kind of moments?" I ask and he tightens his arms around me

"Moments like this, when you have something really important to say" he says "I didn't want to just say it, I wanted it to be memorable and I couldn't think of a better moment than sitting here with you in my arms watching the sun go down" he pauses and I feel him take a deep breath "Ry" he says softly and I turn my head to look up at him

"Yeah Ro?" I ask as he brushes my hair out of my face

"I love you Ry" he says and my heart skips a beat as the biggest smile crosses my face

"I love you too Ro" I smile and he leans down and kisses me softly, he gently moves me back until I'm laid on the blanket, the only sound is that of the waves crashing and the soft breeze blowing through the palm trees.
His long dark curls fall around us like a curtain shielding our kiss from the world. This was the first time anyone had done anything like this for me and it showed me not only how truly special this man was but just how lucky I am to have him.
