Ryleigh POV

After proudly watching Roman and the guys win their match I was now stood in gorilla waiting for my match to start. Tonight I was facing Sasha and if I beat her I get a shot at the Raw women's championship.

This opportunity meant the world to me being champion as one of my goals and most importantly I was doing this for Jacob, becuase he believed that I could be champion.
I do some extra stretching while I wait and once again I find my waist encased I strong muscular arms. I turn to find Roman smiling softly at me, he leans down and presses a brief loving kiss to my lips.

"I just wanted to come and wish you luck, you got this babygirl" he smiles "I'll see you after, I love you"

"I love you too and thank you" I say smiling up at him "You were amazing out there tonight Ro, I'm proud of you"

"Thanks babygirl" he says kissing the tip of my nose "No matter what happens tonight I'm proud of you, but we both know your going to win" he smirks blowing me a kiss before leaving.

As soon as he leaves I feel some else standing behind me, I have a good idea who it is as soon as they laugh.

"You are not going to win tonight: Sasha says "you don't belong here Ryleigh and you sure as hell don't deserve the opportunities you've been given"

"Good job your opinion doesn't matter to me" I say "I only concern myself with the opinions of people that matter to me"

"You mean Roman?" She says before laughing again "girl open up those eyes and see what's really going on, that man does not love you, he uses those words to get what he wants, he doesn't love anyone but himself, you're just his time filler til something better comes along"

"Sounds to me like you're jealous Sasha, let me guess your bitter because he turned you down?" I retort

"Please, I could have that man however and whenever I want" she says flicking her hair "I'll prove it to you, right after I put you on the injured list" she says before walking through the curtains as her music hits.

1.....2.....3 the ring bell sounds and I stand in the ring victorius. I had done it, I had beaten her, I'd got my shot at the title and I had more than proven to her that I belonged here and I deserved it. As the ref holds my hand in the air her words about Roman are still, circling my mind, I don't want to believe that they are true but I just can't shake them.

I feel hands on my shoulders and my lack of concentration makes me the recipient of a back stabber. I lay on the ring holding my back unaware of where Sasha was, I knew she wouldn't take losing to me well and I'm hoping the back stabber is the end of it.

I fell myself being pulled by the ankle and I look up just in time to see her sliding my leg through a chair, I try to move but my shoulders get pinned down as she climbs to the top turnbuckle. She jumps and lands straight on my ankle and I'm pretty sure I feel something snap.

I hear her laugh and then she leaves the ring shouting "I'm going to prove it to you Ry, you mark my words"
I'm helped out of the ring and through to medical by the ref and a couple of others.  As I sit on the examination table I hear a familiar voice calling out.

"Ry? RY? Babygirl where you at?" Roman calls out

"I'm in here Ro" I call back as he appears in the doorway worry etched on his face

"Are you alright babygirl" he ask stroking my hair out of my face

"I don't know, I'm pretty sure I felt something snap" I say fighting back tears

"She's not going to get away with this" he growls "that was uncalled for"

"Just leave it please" I say "just promise me you will stay away from her"

"What's going on Ry? What aren't you telling me?" He asks looking deep in my eyes

"Nothing honestly" I say taking hold of his hand "Ro do........do you really love me?" I ask and he instantly looks confused

"Of course I do, with all my heart and soul" he says "what's made you doubt me?" He asks

"I don't I just needed to know" I say "what if I'm out Ro? What happens to us then?"

"Nothing happens to us, you'll still be my girl, I'll still be your guy" he smiles "I told you and I'll keep telling you I want you for the rest of my life, we're going to be just fine babygirl I promise"

"I love you so much Ro" I say "I don't want to be away from you"

"Babygirl what are you afraid of?" He asks "has some one said something to you?"

"No, no one has said anything" I say "I'm just worried that while we're apart you'll find some one better"

"Not possible I already have the best" he smiles before pressing a kiss to my lips "you have my heart Ry, and I don't plan on ever asking for it back. I'm in love with you and only you, you are all I will ever want. Please don't worry becuase there's no need to"

"Alright Ryleigh we are going to need to send you to the hospital for an x Ray but I'm fairly certain your ankle is at the very least fractured" the doctor says "which means you'll be out for at least 3 months"

"What!....no I can't be out that long. Is there anyway to speed up the healing process?" I ask and he shakes his head

"I'm sorry but you can't rush bones to heal" he says

"It's alright babygirl, it will fly by and I will come visit you every chance I get" he says "maybe we can even start moving your stuff into my place, what do you say?" He smiles

I say nothing just bury my face in his chest, Sasha did what she said she do which meant that she was going to follow through with the rest of her threat. I'd lost my title shot and now she was going to make me lose Roman too.
