Before you people start reading let me tell you fam that I'm sorry for being late.My aunt met with an deadly accident few days back & im bust there,she's in hospital.It was a really tough time for my family.But she's recovering a bit.Pray!!

"Abhimanyu.." Manik uttered his name unmindfully to which everyone looked him,who was standing there looking at nowhere.

"Aah!! Manik there you're .. We're waiting for you only" Abhi said seeing Manik.

Nandini noticed Manik lost.

"Mujhe!! Wha..What's it??" Manik asked finally looking at him.

"Well,mera yaha aane k liye har time Kya kuch reason chaiye!!?? Nei Na ??" Abhi asked the last line looking at Mukti who came back along with Dhruv after getting done with the formalities in police station.

"Lekin this time we've a reason to come here" Abhi said again & Manik's beats were skipping.

"Mani why're you standing there yaha aao,, sit na.." This time Nandini said walking to him.She held his hand & dragged him to couch.

"Well it's about Nandini" This time Dr.Ragini said.

Manik looked at Nandini & Nandini smiled at him tightening her grip on his.

"What about Nandini's reports??" Cabir finally asked.

"Well,let's not creat any suspense,,Let me straight come to the point,I checked all the reports last time ka Aur we saw that the blockage she'd is getting cured by the medicines which means she'll be alright very soon as the medicines are working on her..2 courses more of these medicines and guess what she'll be perfectly fine" Ragini said smiling.

Manik's head fell back with closed eyes,he'd a smile on his face.He looked at Nandini who was looking at his actions intently,he immidiately took her in bone crushing hug to which she response too.

Others were almost dancing,Cabir came and hugged taking Manik,Nandini both in together.Seeing them Navya,Mukti,Alya,Dhruv too hugged them all together.

A Manan hug which needed up in the group hug broke the voice of Abhimanyu "Aahhmm.. We should get hugged first as we bought the good news"

In an instant Mukti ran towards him and hugged him tight saying "You don't know Abhi what've you done to us!! Thank you thank you thank you so much..". The hug was so sudden that Abhimanyu trembled back a bit but managed by wrapping his arms around Mukti.

When every other one had a smirk on their face seeing scene infront.

"Waise Tu Kya hum saabka hug khud hi kar legi Abhi ko???" Who it could be !!??

Embarrassed.They broke the hug and tried to avoid eye contact with eachother.

"Ok guys ,, we should leave now" Abhi said all of sudden to which Mukti looked at him.He too noticed that.

"Abhi & Ragini,if it's not too necessary then stay here for sometime,,let's talk over food.." Manik suggested and Nandini looked at Manik with an open mouth.

Like Manik Malhotra asking Abhimanyu Thakur to stay!!!

"Well,I would love to but I'm sorry I won't be able to join you guys as I've a night shift today & I can't skip that .. Work comes first you know!!" Ragini said smilingly.

"Lekin Abhimanyu is free I think,he was telling me that.So I'll take a leave now guys,,will definitely come one day but not as a doctor but as a friend " Ragini said to which everyone smiled but Manik came forward.

"I can't thank you two enough for what've you done.You've saved my heart,, you owe me,kabhi bhi koi bhi help if you need just remember me,I hope I won't disappoint you.Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart.." Manik thanked them genuinely.They saved his life,his Nandini.

"Manik there's nothing to thank us,it's our duty.Moreover how can you just let anything happen to a beautiful girl like her!!?" Ragini said.

"Thank you so much Dr. & sorry for being a lair for first day!!" Nandini said looking at Ragini to which Ragini laughed.

After bidding bye to Ragini they sat on the table and had food and talked. It's time for Abhimanyu to bid bye too which saddened Mukti.

Mukti walked with Abhi till the door when Abhi asked "Will you be free tomorrow evening??? I mean can we meet over a coffee??"

Mukti without a second thought nodded her head.

"I'll pic you up at 6 in the evening then ??"

"Works.." Mukti replied.

"Bye..." Mukti said with a smile.

"Aahha!! Bye bolne sey firse milne Ki ummed khatam ho jati hai,See you soon" Abhimanyu said with a wink.

"Wasn't that SRK's line ??" Mukti asked confusingly. Twisted_dil Kya bolti hai??

"Nandini..Baass bachha Aur kitna time?? Aur aaj gana Nei gaaya tumney kuch Kya huya??" Manik asked from outside as its time to got to college and she's taking shower from 40mins.

"Nei,aj main yaha soch rahi hoon Ki nahayu yah nei!!!?? Baadi dubhidha hoon main Manik..!!" Nandini said from inside the bathroom.

"Dubhidha what!!?? And don't tell me Ki you still didn't let water touch you!!! Nandini I'll lock you up there agar 5mins tum nahake bahar nei aayi Toh.." Manik said sternly.

"Pata Nei yeh pagal ladki ko shower lene k time Kya Ho jatah hai,,drama queen" Manik said to himself.

"Ho gaya mera Manik,,tumne Saab pack kar diye Na Thikse ??" Matlab socho Zara,,poonch Toh aise rahi hai jaise Maine khudke bag pack karne Ho.

"Haan,Saab kar diya hai chalo breakfast karne" And he dragged her to table.

After having breakfast they left to college.Manik gave the daily rants to Nandini before entering her inside.

"Aye aye Captain,,you words are my command" Nandini said bowing down infront of him dramatically.

"Nautanki.." Manik smile at her and kissed her temple "I love you baby"

"I love you too honey" Nandini replied after pecking his lips and ran inside leaving an amused Manik behind.

The day went well for others except Nandini!! Wanna know why ??? ⬇️

It's 4 in the evening when Manik came to pick up Nandini & Navya.

He was waiting for them in the car when he saw Nandini coming from the end with a gloom face along with Navya.

He got down and went towards her "What's wrong Nandini?? Why this face??" Manik asked worriedly.

Nandini looked at him and don't reply instead she went and sat inside the car.Manik looked at Navya who giggled and said "kuch Nei huya ,, chalo batate hain". Saying this they too went inside the car.

"Kya hai Nandini batao Toh sahi baba!!" Manik asked.

"Madam ka mood off hai kyun Ki exam schedules mile hai Aur bass 1 week bacha hai exams ka" Navya revealed the reason behind Nandini's grumpiness.

"Baat itni si baat??!! Aur you're heaving like this ??" Manik said which angered Nandini.

"Itni si baat hai yeh Manik??!!! Haan tum Toh bologe hi !!! Kuch Nei Pata hai tumhe exams k baaremein.. Kitne tough hoteh hai,kitna padai karn padtah hai,,jitna bhi paado exam mein adhe Toh common Milne sey rahe.." Nandini said dramatically.

"Haan,mujhe kaise paatah hoga !! Maine kaha exams mein baithe hai!!!?? Businessman Toh main aise hi baan gaya you know just like that!!" Manik said but Nandini didn't notice the sarcasm and replied "Haan!! Aur Nei Toh Kya !!??" She said jerking her shoulders casually.

"Like seriously Nandini !!!???" Manik said.

"Toh Kya main joke kar rahi thi !!" Nandini said.

Is she even for real !!???

Manik rolled his eyes while Navya laughed out loud.

After parking the car Nandini got down and went inside before Manik & Navya.

They both laughed on her antics & followed her.

"Kya kiya tuney meri behen ko?? Why is she grumpy??" Cabir asked narrowing his gaze on Manik while Nandini sat there on the couch folding her hands near her chest.

"Bhai,behen dono hi Dramebaz hai, I feel your pain Navya" Manik muttered against Navya's ear & both shared a laugh again.

"Dekha tum logo ne,, dekha,,yeh dono hase hi jaa rahe hai taabse,Areh Meri exam schedules aye hai,,Don't you know how tough it is !!?? Maine Abhi taak revision bhi complete Nei Ki hai,ittu sa chota baby ittu se time mein itta sa kaise paad sakta hai !!??" Nandini said Atleast making a helpless face.

"Choti,Tu rehne dey,,kuch Nei hai exams mein,, I'll tell you how to pass exams without studying" Mukti said winking at her to which Nandini was like "Sachhi Mukku !!?? Toh chalo Na !!"

"Ayeee!! Kya?? Kaha??" Manik immidiately came forward and blocked their way a they stood up to go.

"Suna Nei Manik,Mukti k pass idea hai ek jismein I don't have to read fir bhi I'll get good scores" Nandini said as if she's telling a secret.

"Muktiiii !!! Sunne k baadh bhaag jayegi woh ..." Manik said to Mukti to which Mukti giggled then look at Nandini "Nandini there's nothing like that ,, aise koi shortcuts Nei hoteh,u come with me" saying this he held her hand to take her upstairs.

"Areh hai naaa,Mukku ney bolaaaaa haii" Everyone could heard her rants.

People stood there chuckled and Dhruv said "She's such a baby still"

"Abh tell me what's problem ?? It's just an exam schedule baby.. Why're you getting so worked up ??" Manik asked Nandini after making her seat on the table in there room.

"Manik I'm not prepared enough,,mere scores achhe Nei ayenge" Nandini said almost on the verge of crying.

Manik took her in his embrace,caressing her hairs.His favourite permanent job!!

Nandini too hugged him.

She still reaches only till his shoulder.Such a cute little potato!!

"Main hoon Na bachha!!?? I'll help you with your study,,I'm sure you'll do your best..Aise karne sey thori chalta hai batao?? Is this a way to behave baby?? Tumhare haar exams mein hum Saab help kartein hai Na tumhe bolo?? Navya bhi hai help karne k liye.. Saath mein milke paadenge OK??" Manik said lovingly.

"Tum kyun exam doge?? Businessman Ho aab Kya Doctor bhi banoge??" Nandini asked in his embrace with a cute pout.

Manik didn't get exactly what kinda expression he should give though he chuckled a bit.

After a little talk & romance in the middle they both freshened up and sat on the bed.When Nandini said "Kuch gaa sakte Ho Kya Manik please??"

More than ready Manik went to her and said "I told you Princesses don't say please,they order"

"Manik mere liye gaana gao now!!" Nandini corrected her sentence from request to order and Manik laughed and muttered "Pagal Ladki" and went to bring his guitar.

"Manik main pagal Nei hoon.." Nandini said loudly.

"And I'm Captain America" He too said loud enough for Nandini to hear.

"Kuch bhi matlab kuch bhi" Nandini again said.

When she heard him strumming his guitar.

"Is Lamhe Ko Rok Doon.."

"Kyun Kya kharabi hai iss lamhe mein?? Main hoon tum ho,dono eksaath hai" Nansini said as soon a Manik sang the first line. Manik smiled at her and continued-

"Ya Main Khud Ko Iss Mein Jhonk Doon..
Kya Karoon, Kya Karoon, Kya Karoon..
Is Lamhe Main Kuchh Bhi Jaanu Na.."

Manik stopped and looked at Nandini who's looking at him with a confused face.To which Manik kissed her temple and sang-

Nandini now smiled at him getting his meaning.

He sang and asked Nandini through his eyes to hold him from back for a piggyback ride & being the naughty soul she didn't waste a minute,Manik smiled & started walking near the door which leads them towards their personal swimming pool when she repeated the lines Manik sang-

"O Sud-Budh Khoyi, Hai Khoyi Maine..
Haan Jaan Gavayi, Gavayi Hai Maine..
Haan Tujhko Basaya Hai Dhadkan Mein..
O Saawre.."

Manik was amazed to see how quickly Nandini learnt it,she always gives him reasons to feel proud of her.Quick learner!!

Manik sang-

And Nandini joined too,both sang -

Nandini kissed on his cheek from back.Manik made her seat on the chair outside & sat near her feet,facing his back,He kept his head on her leg -

Is Tarah Se Mujhko Jeena Aaya.."

She was caressing his hairs when he stopped and turned and asked her to sing these lines again.She smiled and continued-

Her voice was so perfect,so soothing,calm,serene exactly opposite of her character-Manik thought and sang-

And both sang together-

They both sat there without uttering a word after finishing the song.Eyes closed.Indeed Music gives them a peace !!
