"Yeh inhaler Kaha rakh di Maine God !!!" Nandini asked searching in her bag while walking towards the doctors cabin.

"Madam,aap k bag mein hi hoga,,dekhiye.." Driver who was almost running behind Nandini to the cabin said.

"Lekin Madam,,agar sir ko pata chala unhe bohot dukh hoga,,woh naraz ho jayenge" Driver again tried to convince Nandini.

"Mujhe pata hai dada Lekin apko pata hain Na k Manik Ki tabiyaat stress k wajase kharab huyi thi !!! Aur Abhi ney mana kiya tha zyada stress maat lene k liye !!? Agar main ussey baata deti toh woh kya karta pata haina apko??" Nandini said while again tears made their way.

Yes!! She is trying to pretend all strong ,she is trying to handle things alone but the truth is SHE CAN'T,the girl who needs Manik even to brush her teeth is acting all strong  is tough.She was afraid but she can't let Manik effect his health.

Nandini opened the doctor's cabin door when she saw two people sitting facing their back towards her.

"Oh! I'm sorry doctor ,,I think I should come later,actually I lost my......" She couldn't complete her words when the man sitting on the chair turned and completed her sentence saying "INHALER" .

"YOU FORGOT YOUR INHALER NANDINI MURTHY !!!"

Nandini's eyes almost bulged out of its sockets.She couldn't move further,as if someone glued her legs with the floors.

"I asked something You lost your Inhaler Yes or No !!??" The pain in the voice didn't get unnoticed by Nandini.

"Maa.Manik!!! Tu..tum yaha!!Ma..man..Manik ,,I...I ca..can ex..explain " Nandini said after lifting her glued legs forward when Manik just nodded in negative sternly at her to not say a word.

He's hurt !!

Is he hurt beyond repair !!

Won't he forgive me ever !!

He again turned towards the doctor "Doctor meet Dr.Abhimanyu Thakur,he will handle her case with you,He is a friend" Manik said in a dismissed tone.

"Yeah sure!! That will be a good help,as I have already told her that her case is a bit complicated one,I will be needing Mr.Thakur." Doctor said to which Manik looked at Nandini,who is crying already standing there.

That pain in his eyes couldn't let her look at him.She is the reason of his pain.This mere thought pricked her heart.His red swollen eyes spoke thousands that time which words failed miserably.

Her tears stabbed him too but this time she strummed the wrong chord,played with the wrong card.

"My pleasure Dr.Ragini,let's proceed then!! We shouldn't waste time.." Abhi said to doctor and left with her to check her reports.

"Manik,maaf kardo mujey,I didn't want to stress you" Nandini went near him.

"You betrayed me Nandini" Manik's words surely hurt her but the pain he is going through,the pain that she is given him is much much more than her's.

  She nodded her head frantically in negative,her cheeks were wet "Nahi..nahi Manik mat bolo aisey,maaf kardo mujey"

"You failed me,,you didn't trust me enough!!! Tumney muhey khudh sey hara diya Nandini " Manik said looking nowhere,his tears betrayed him this time as it rolled down his cheeks.

"No,Manik please stop!! Don't say this..." Nandini said closing her ears with her hands.

No!! She can't bare him blaming himself.

"Manik,you promised me that you'll forgive me." Nandini said with a hope.

"My forgiveness doesn't matter to you Nandini" Manik was stern.He knew his words were hurting her.He is punishing himself for hurting her but She needs to know her fault.

"Tum apne aapko aise hurt Nahi kar sakte ho!! You want to punish me but you are punishing youself. Maat karo aisa!!! Abhi ney mana kiya tha tumhe stress dene k liye Aur agar main tumsey bol deti toh tum bohot stressed Ho jaatey,,I can't loose you Manik!!! I don't want anything except you." Saying this Nandini banged on his chest  holding him tight.

"You are selfish Nandini,how can you be so selfish ??!" Manik didn't hug her back.

"If you name this selfishness,,then yes I'm selfish Manik" Nandini said.

"You did wrong Nandini,,you didn't trust me!! You messed things "

"I trust you Manik,,I trust you more than my life..."

"Agar karti toh you wouldn't have hide it,,Sab kuch akele kar liya tumney!!! Yeh Nahi socha kay mujey kaisa feel hoga??"

"Maaf kardo mujhe Manik.."Nandini could utter only this.

Manik nodded in negative when the salty waters were betraying his voice too.He so wanted to hug her,,he wanted to take all her pain away.He wanted to sooth her.He wanted to assure her that he won't let anything wrong happen.But......

"Manik,,we need to take Nandini for some tests" Abhi entered saying this into the cabin and saw them crying but Manik wasn't hugging her when Nandini was clutching him to her dear life.

Nandini didn't move when Manik just put his hand on her head as he knew her well without getting any response from him she won't even move.

He parted Nandini from him and said without sparing a glance at her "Yeah Abhi,,you proceed,I need to talk to you let's go,, I don't think I am needed here with anyone"

Nandini looked at him and stopped him by holding his hand "Abhi I need him with me,,can you guys please talk later??"

To which Abhi replied "Sure beautiful,he is all yours" and left.

"You don't need me Nandini,you can manage everything by yourself isn't it??" Manik asked looking at her.

"Nahi kar sakti main manage,,please Manik!!! You promised me that you will forgive me!!You'll not scold me.. You can't back off now" Nandini said sadly.

"Let's go ,, test karwaney hai,,Abhi is waiting!!" Manik said holding her hand.

"Don't worry,,I'm right here,Nothing will happen to you ok !!?" Manik tried to assure himself more than Nandini.

Nandini nodded her head.

"Abhi careful,, she shouldn't be hurt .." Manik said to Abhimanyu and he blinked his eyes in return to assure.

"Don't be afraid ok!!" Manik said to her again.

"I will be fine Mani.."

They took Nandini inside for the tests when Manik started walking to and fro outside the room.When his phone rang "Haan Cabir Bol"

And he narrated everything to which Cabir was shocked and hurt too.He wanted to come but Manik stopped him saying he will come with Nandini within few hours.

Manik she's in the bed,,she'll gain consciousness within few minutes as it was a mild dose,you can go inside" Abhi said after coming out.

"Abhi,,she will be fine right??" Manik was afraid,afraid of loosing her.

"Yes,buddy she will be fine,I will make her alright I promise!!" Abhi assured him.

" Thank you Abhi!!" Manik Malhotra thanked Abhimanyu Thakur.

He was caressing her cheeks with his thumb with one hand and holding her other hand tightly in his grip when she opened her eyes to see him smiling.Her pain just vanished.She too smiled at him when Manik again maintained his starlight face and asked "You ok?? Do I need to call the doctor ??"

Is it even necessary to say that he's concerned !!??

"Take me home please" Nandini pleaded.

"Let's go home" Manik said and picked her up when she reposted her head on his heart,caressing it,pecking it,giving a hard time to Manik.

He made her sit in the passenger seat and he himself took the driving one.

Nandini rested her head on his shoulder and turned on the radio-

He picked up a sleeping Nandini and made way into the mansion where everyone was waiting for them.As soon as they saw Manik carrying Nandini,,they rushed towards them-

"Kya huwa issey buddy??"

"Choti thik toh haina Manik??"

"Kya huwa hai Nandu batao bhi"

"Is she fine Manik??"

Everyone asked but Manik looked at Cabir who didn't say anything.

"Room mein ley jaa usse" Cabir said this and left.
