Let me tell you guys o e thing that this wattapad sucks ,,sucks,,sucks. I posted this chapter but it got deleted.. By gods grace I keep all the parts'S back in my notes.

I lost all the votes & comments too,,it really makes me cry 😭

The recovery process of Manik's health was going faster than a jet speed as it's Nandini who is taking care of his every little thing by her own like •Foods •Medicines •Rest •Sleep •Exercises and more importantly she herself was the most important reason,her care,love were making him perfectly alright.

It's been almost 8 days that Manik was at home sitting ideally and today it's his check up day as Dr.Uncle isn't in town yet,So it's Abhi who's gonna check him up.

It's 10 in the morning-

Manik stopped his car infront of the hospital with Nandini by his side.Manik was about to get down from the car saying "Let's go ba..." but he couldn't complete as he saw Nandini,who was looking at the hospital door horrified,fidgeting with her scarf,sweat beads formed on her forehead.Manik panicked seeing her like this and immediately engulfed her in his embrace.He didn't need to ask her why she is worried,it is that invisible string between them that has been attached to each other by God.

"There's nothing wrong bachha,,I'm here with you.Calm your nerves honey..Sshhh,,Sshh..." Manik said patting her back as extreme nervousness was making her shiver.

"You are not any weak baby!!! I have made you strong enough.Then why this worry ??... Ok Choro yeh Sab drink this..." Manik first asked then dismissed his own question and made her drink water.

"I won't ever let you face this cruel world alone honey and that's my promise to you.But now give me my Ferrero Rocher wali smile and get going.What say ??" He winked at last to ease the situation which worked as she smiled and pecked his lips.

"Now that's a bonus!!!" Manik acted as if he was beyond shock to which Nandini giggled.

Listening her voice after some good time,he lightly punched on his heart saying "Oouuchh... That hurts right here"

"You are such a flirt Manik,Chalo bhi andar" Nandini blushed Crimson and said the last line to avoid his teasing.

They went inside the hospital while Manik throughout the walk tried to make silly conversations,Sometimes teasing her,sometimes flirting with her.When they reached the reception.

"Could you please check the appointment of Manik Malhotra with Dr.Abhimanyu Thakur??" Nandini asked politely to the receptionist.

"Sure Mam!! Mr.Thakur is waiting for you only..You can go.Do you need someone to guide you to Dr's cabin Mam??"The receptionist asked when Nandini said "No,no it's ok.Thank you"

Manik,who was asked by Nandini to not-to-speak-a-word;frowned hearing that she doesn't need a guidance to Abhimanyu's room.

"How do you know his cabin Nandini??" As soon as he came back from his thoughts,he saw Nandini was walking two legs ahead of him to which he almost ran two legs to match her.

Matching her pace he asked "How do you know uss larke ka cabin??"

Hearing his choice of words Nandini looked at him with frown when Manik straightened himself "I mean how do you know where Dr.Abhimanyu's cabin is ??"

"Stop being jealous Malhotra and FYI you were admitted here for 3 god damn days and he was your doctor for gods sake" Nandini said in an obvio tone.

"Tone should be polite bachha.." Manik said.

"And here Papa is back!!!" Nandini slapped her head dramatically to which Manik first frowned but then rolled his eyes.

"You are absolutely fine Manik,,There's nothing to worry about now!! I must say Nandini is very attentive towards her work. Ain't it?? But from next time take care of youself" Abhimanyu said after examining him.

"There is nothing to worry about right?? You can tell me Abhi,,,I can manage" Nandini said to Abhi to which Manik looked at her narrowing his gaze with a crunched nose as she called 'Abhimanyu Thakur' only 'Abhi' but Nandini deliberately ignored his gaze.

"There is nothing to worry Nandini and when I am saying this I mean it" Abhi said smiling at Nandini. Manik again looked at Abhi as if he's an alien as he called 'Manik Malhotra's girl Nandini Murthy' only 'Nandini'.

"I can't thank you enough Abhi,,tumne jo kiya hai humare liye I can't ever forget that.." Nandini said to Abhi and Manik again looked at her.

"I don't accept thank you's from beautiful girls,,a coffee invitation at your place wouldn't do any harm I hope !! " As soon as Abhi says this Manik's eyes bulged out,Before Nandini could say anything Manik said abruptly first then added the endearment with one spoon extra sugar in his mouth "Nandini doesn't like coffee at all hai Na baby??"

Abhi laughed at his possessiveness first then said "I said I would like to have one buddy"

To which Manik again asked quickly "Kyun ?? Humare ghar coffee kyun ?? Coffee shops kya bandh ho chuke hai Mumbai mein sab??"

Hearing this Nandini face palmed herself.

"Wooaah!! Buddy take it easy,it's ok if you don't want me to come" Abhi said smilingly.

"No,no Abhi nothing like that!!! Actually Manik is very funny sometimes you know hai Na Manik ??" Nandini said with a forced smiled and asked looking at Manik while gritting her teeth to which Manik first nodded his head in negative which means he is not funny but seeing Nandini glaring and stomping her foot he immediately nodded his head in positive.And made a cry face.

"See I told yaa,, ok listen!! You are coming today in the evening" Nandini declared and Manik made a helpless face.

"Nandini,,I was just joking ,,you don't need to thank me!! I was just doing my job that's it dear" Abhi said genuinely to which Manik at last heaved a sigh but his happiness didn't last long. 😜

"I don't wanna buy any of your excuses..We want to see you in our house and that's it.Manik chalo" Nandini said while Manik wanted to bang his head but followed as she said.

"Nan..." Abhi couldn't complete as Nandini walked out taking Manik along.

"Manik that was very rude of you and you are aware of that right!!!" Nandini asked Manik as soon as they sat on the car.

"Kya zaroorat thi ghar bulane ki usse!!! Doctor hain Aur treating patient is his job then why this extra effort ??" Manik asked to which Nandini again slapped her head dramatically.

"Manik main kya karoongi office jake?? Aur mujhe college bhi Jana hai principle asked me to meet him" Nandini said while Manik was driving towards his office.

"Baby it won't take much time in office,,I just have to sign some papers and then we will go to your college" Manik said.

Nandini nodded and keeps her head on Manik's shoulder to which Manik smiled and pecked her head "Tired??"

Nandini just nodded and closed her eyes.

"Baccha sonah nahi abhi, thik hai??" Manik asked her not to sleep as he knows how cranky Nandini behaves if her sleep doesn't complete and now they have to go to College also where her presence is needed.

"Mmmmm.." Nandini was almost sleeping.

Manik parked his car infront of his office and tried to wake up Nandini "Bachha,,we are here.Please open your eyes!!!"

Nandini as expected frowned her brows and opened her eyes half and saw her surrounding;holding Manik's hand she gets down from the car.She leaned on Manik,wrapping her two hands around his left hand. He smiled on her antics and started walking slowly towards the lift.It seems like Nandini was sleep walking.

He missed this Nandini.

The 'Ting' sound of the lift made her open her eyes,she looked at the lift and then again looked at Manik who was already looking at her with a warm,charming smile.She didn't return the favour to smile back at him then again rested her head and closed her eyes.

Manik's heart was screaming love for her,,and her cute antics were making him fall for her more and more.He wanted to kiss her Until she beg for air.But it's their private moment which he doesn't want to let the world see.

When Nandini opened her eyes she found herself in Manik's cabin,,perfectly tucked with his coat in the couch which was almost a bed for a petite frame like hers.Her eyes finally found the perfect man sitting on his chair infront of her with a straight,arrogant face which is he for the rest of the world.

"Mani.." She called and almost at an instant Manik looked at her.His eyes softened,, a smile crept on his eyes.His lips twitched seeing his brightest sunshine. Thats who the actual Manik is !!!

"You are up honey?? Slept well??" Manik asked her coming close and sitting on the floor with the support of his knees and kissed her temple.

Nandini snuggled into his chest nodding her head.Manik smiled and asked "You wanna eat something bachha?? Bhook lagi hai apko??"

Nandini nodded in No.

"Toh lets go to your college?? I am done here" Manik said huskily.

Nandini throws her hands in the air gesturing him to pick her up.She is in need of some serious pampering,acting all mature for so many days have exhausted her.

(Actually I need some serious pampering as I am down with fever,cold and cough,headache etc etc and I act so irritating & cranky that my boy & my mum literally face palms sometimes)

Manik smiled and picked her up not before kissing her lips and went towards the lift,ignoring all the dreamy stares of the office staffs.

"Mr.Malhotra we have postponed the examination dates as you asked us to do and I hope this will be fine with you??" Principle asked Manik as they are sitting in the principles office.But Manik made Nandini sit in the canteen.

"Yeah,,Thank you Mr.D'cruse for you cooperation" Manik said to the principal and shook hand with him before leaving.

He was walking towards Nandini when his phone rings,he picked the call as it was Cabir-

"Hey Manik where are you two?? Bolke toh gaye the kuch der mein hi you'll be back!!! Tum dono ka kuch der khatam Nahi huya??" Cabir asked but Manik could listen his other buddies also.

"We are fine and bro we are at her college and I think I am gonna take for some shopping to cheer her mood you know!!" Manik said to which Cabir immediately asked-

"Bunny is ok right?? What's wrong with her mood??" Cabir asked and the side talks of their friends too stopped hearing Nandini's name.

"There's nothing to worry about,it's just that I think she's a bit down with all these playing a mature role these days..That's why nothing else" Manik said sensing their worried faces.

"Oh ok then you guys enjoy,,we will party tonight what say??" Cabir asked to which Manik agreed and cut the call and went to Nandini.

"Baby,,let's go and shop something.You wanna go??" Manik asked to which Nandini looked at him with a twinkling eyes and jumped on him making him tremble a bit.But he held her tight.

"I love you Manik,,I love you so damn much.. Chalo chalo jaldi chalo warna late Ho jayega" Nandini said lastly breaking the hug.

Manik chuckled and asked teasingly "Kyun is there someone waiting for you in the mall??"

"Aur nahi toh kya!!" Nandini answered in a matter of fact tone to which Manik frowned and asked "Kaun??"

"Areh yeh bhi punchne wali baat hai Manik!! Tumhey naa kuch bhi nahi patah hota hai!! Arey main aarahi hoon toh chocolates,chips,wafers,Maggie's,pastries,soft drinks aur...aur... baki mujhe abhi yaad Na aaraha hai woh sab wait kar rahe honge mera...Aab yeh tum na bekar ki baaton mein time waste Na karo aur drive fast like fast and furious" And here's that non-stop chatterbox is back.

Listening to her talks Manik made all kind off weird faces and sat taking the driving seat.

"Are you even serious Nandini !!! You are addressing them as if they are some human being... They are just some unhealthy foods wrapped up in attractive wrappers" Manik said to her.

Nandini looked at him horrified and asked opening the wrappers of chocolate bar in her hand "Manik are you even listening what you are saying ??!! Aaww,,my baby!! He is not talking about you,he is just crazy you know!! Sshh shh,,don't be sad,,I am with you" Nandini said the first line only to Manik then looked at the chocolate bar said those cheesy lines to that.

"Nandini you need some serious treatment!!!" Manik looked at her disbelievingly.

"Manik I don't need any dresses,let's go there" And Nandini is a girl who never liked to shop for any clothes,it is the groceries,food courts that attracts her the most.
(This is what I do!!😜🙈)

Manik happily took her there.

It is almost 2 hours that Nandini is still shopping and Manik is helping her happily.

"Mani I am tired but abhi toh I am not done,,kya karu??!!!" Nandini asked leaning on Manik.

Manik without saying anything picked her up and made her sit on the shopping trolley and stole a peck.

"Manik!!! Saab dekh rahe hai!!" Nandini said to Manik and hide her face in Manik's coat.

"Do you really care Ms.Murthy??" Manik asked with a smirk to which Nandini peeked from her coat and grinned at him nodding her head in negative.

And that's how there shopping began again ....
