"Manik where were you?? Kab se I was calling you!! Nahu the kaha tum batao mujhe ??" Nandini was asking angrily with a pout,hands on the either sides of her waist.

Manik gulped and said "I was talking with Mukti & Navya baby .. Kyun kya huya hai bachha??" He's behaving ever so sweet.

"You know what Mukti,Navya said to me ?? Pata hai Kya tumhe??" Angry young lady asked.

Manik just nodded in negative innocently.

"Ha toh poonchon na?? Poonch kyun nei rahe??" Nandini again said loud.

"Kya bola Mukti Aur Navya ne baby??" Manik was an innocent kid now.

"They said mein gussa kar rahi hoon!!! How can they even say like that?? Tum hi bolo mein Kya gussa kar rahi hoon??" Nandu asked glaring at him.

Bechara Manik !! Saach bhi nei bol sakta !!! 😜

"No never,,Gussa aur mera bachha!!?? Kabhi nei.. Kuch bhi bolte hai yeh log.. Gussa maat ho baby" Manik tried to calm her down.

"What .. What did you just say ?? Come again !!! Nei neii bolo" Nandini was coming close to Manik & he was moving backward nodding his head in negative trying to correct what he just said !!

"Nei baby mera woh matlab nei tha,,ekbar mujhe bolne toh do" Again his choice of wrong words messed up the thing.😜

"Ooww!!! Abhi mein tumhe bolne bhi nei deti hoon aisa laagta hain tumhe!!" Suddenly her angry mood changed into a almost crying one.

These God Damn Sweets are dancing on her head!!!

"She's acting like she's pregnant!! Abhi aisa toh jaab such mein pregnant hogi tabhi kya!!!" Manik's thoughts are as weird as Cabir's PJs.

Manik besharam,Khotya!!Gutter mind maat chala abhi-His inner self scolded.

"Nandu mera bachha,,aisa kuch nei baby.. You're the best girl you know right!! Saab tumse kitna pyaar karte hai bolo toh!!" Manik made her sit on the couch in their room & said all these while patting her head.

"Koii pyaar nei karta mujhse,,Woh bachhi Nandu sey kartein hain,, Aur agar Bachhi Nandu baado jaise gussa karein toh saab bolte hai k woh gussa karti hai,,Mujhe bhi big hona hai ki nei !! " She said sniffing.

Manik's POV

"Haaiiinn!!! Kya bol rahi hai yeh?? Baade hone k saath gussa ka kaisa relationship??"

"Kamino mein nehi chodunga tum logo ko.. Abhi agar mein medicine ki baat karu toh kya karegi!!! Nandu k Aaiyappa sambhal lena,,Fir Nandu ki ek kiss apke naam" Manik cursed fab4 & Navya & asked aiyappa to help him by giving him rishwat.

Aaiyappa said glaring at him "Manik beta!! Do you think I'm a gay ??"

"Areh yaar abhi sambhal lo baki ka mein baad mei dekh lunga" Manik said to Aaiappa.

"Baad mein kuch nei hota khoteya!! Abhi ka abhi hi bol,,kya dega mujhe agar saab thik kardu toh??"

"Aaiyoo Aaiyappa is also demanding ??" Manik said to himself.

"Mujhe sunai diya Saab!!" Aiyappa said.

"Sunai diya na ?? Achha hai fir" Manik said to aiyappa glaring.

"Mujhe aankhein dikhayega Manik Malhotra?? Thik hai chal,, Am going,,khud sambhal abhi Nandu ko" Aiyappa said and left.

"Arehh.. Suno... sorry Suniye.." Manik called but he's long gone.

"Hogaya abhii" Manik palmed his forehead.

"Tum sun bhi rahe ho mein kya Bol rahi hoon Manik ??" Nandini asked suspiciously as she didn't get any reply from him.

"Haan baby ,,am listening to you only!! App bolti raho meri jaan mein sun raha hoon" He said making her sat properly on the couch keeping her legs on the couch & resting her back on the handstand.

"Suno Mani mein keh deti hoon mein abhi big girl hoon toh I can also be gussa na!!?? Tum log kuch nei bol sakte Ho mujhe thik hai ??" She demanded.

"Yeh kaisa demand hai??" Manik thought in his mind.

"Maniiikkkk" She said a bit loud making him come out of his own land.

"Haan.. Haan thik hai,, I'll tell about this to everyone thik hai baby??" Manik said nervously.

"Good,,very good boy,,sabse zyada good boy" She said with a big grin on her face while pulling his cheeks tightly to which Manik was forcing a smile.

"Achha,, you sit here I'll be back" Manik said getting up.

"Kaha jaana hai Manik??"Nandini asked.

"Just gimme 2min love" he said and ran towards their luggage bag to bring something.

In a minute or two he came back to her hiding something in his hands.

"Kya chupa rahe ho Malhotra!! Show me,,Show me!!" She said making a sound with her fingers.

"What's that Nandini?" Manik asked a bit sternly pointing towards her tapori gesture.😝

Nandini gulped and looked down.

Manik thought now he can manipulate her and make her drink the antidote easily.

But Nandini lifted her head up and said "Manik bhadkao maat,,khissak lo abhi"

But this time Manik truly got angry with her language.

"Nandini language!! Kaha sey sikha tumne yeh haan?? Koi kuch bhi kahega aur tum sunke wahi bologi?? I said many times that you shouldn't say something bad to anyone!! I haven't taught my Nandini anything like this!!" When it needed Manik scolds her like a father too.

That's the beauty of their relationship,Isn't it ??

"I'm sorry Mani,,woh Cabir bhai Bol rahe the toh meine bhi bol diya,I won't repeat this,I promise" Nandini said holding her ears Manik could see that she was sorry genuinely.

Manik removed her hands from her ears and said with a sugar coated voice "You're my achhi wali bachhi right !!?" To which she nodded her head frantically in positive.

He chuckled and kissed her head "Toh baby Mani Ki baat bhi manegi right ?"

"Manik tum na yeh golgol maat ghumao,, sidha hi bol do apna kaam" Bolti baandh kardi Manik baba ki!!

"ok!! Tohyouhavetodrinkthisinjuatonego" Manik was speaking in which language?? 🤔

"Hindi ati hai,,English ati hai,Thori bohot Tamil,Telegu bhi bol hi leti hoon.. Lekin yeh wala kaunsa tha??" She asked with the cutest pout & a frown on her forehead while scratching her head trying to think.

"Manik you can do this,,Just go for it dude" Manik's inner self inspired him.

"Nandu baby,,you've to drink this,,kuch nei hota!!" Manik said showing the bottle to which Nandini laughed hysterically but there's no change in Manik's expressions so She stopped laughing & asked "Achha!! Then you aren't kidding??"
To which he nodded in negative.

"Ok ruko mein abhi aayi,,Bas ek hi minute mein wapas ati hoon" Nandini said while trying to get up.

"Oooye.. Kahaa??" Manik asked raising his brow.

"Manik its emergency,,I need to use the washroom" She's such a good actress.

"Ok,,come fast cause you know me,,there's no escape honey" Manik warned her to which she nodded and ran into the washroom.

5mins already

Then it struck his mind "Shit!! She won't come out now ..."

He went near the door and started knocking "Nandini there's truly no escape,,So please open the door!!"

"Manik ko Ullu banaya,,baada maza ayaa!! " Nandini was singing loudly making Manik stomp his feet.

"Nandu meri jaan,,bahar aao bachha,,Kuch nei hota,, you can drink this in just one breathe baby,,Come out honey pie" Manik was buttering.

"Itna buttering bhi na karo Manik" Nandini said in a blah tone making Manik sigh.

They're so loud that Fab4 & Navya gathered right outside their room enjoying Manik's helplessness & Nandin's tantrums.They were laughing and Manik heard it & cursed them when He heard Cabir singing some song as if giving him some hint.

And he got the hint,Cabir is his saviour.He didn't waste a second more-

Manik went back to sit on the floor resting his back on the bed & started singing.

Nandini stoped blabbering and carefully listening the voice.

This one voice makes her forget every damn thing around her. It takes her heaven where her mommy stays;Close to her mommy,Close to Manik's heart more.A smile crept on her lips.

His lips also strechted into a smile;his each breathe is poison.He knows how much Nandini loves to hear him sing!!

He was remembering their moments,This little girl turned his life upside down & how!! She's his life.Nandini opened the bathroom door and slowly came infront of Manik with an ever so charming smile,,He looks at her and gets up,,Caressing her cheeks he further sings

He made her sit on the bedside while singing,,She was in a trance,,There's so much love his voice,his eyes hold for her,Only her;This mere thought gives her goosebumps.He took the medicine bottle & made her drink that & she made The most disgusted face.The dose was very kadwa as it will subside the sweetness affect from her body.He pecked her lips,,Her eyes got teary but she said "Gaao Na Mani!! Chup kyun ho gaye??" He smiled and started again-

He nodded his head in a no as if telling her not to cry,,He kissed her eyes one by one & made her sleep on the bed,,He continued the song while caressing her hairs,she was sleepy but she was struggling hard not to let her eyes close,She knew his each n every word is for her only,,she doesn't want to miss any of it ,,Manik noticed this and keeps his palm on her eyes closing them-

As soon as he finished the song Nandini again look at him & out of nowhere she asked him "Tum
Zindegi ho meri,Manik!! Mujhe chodke khabi nei jaoge na??"

"I can never Nandini.. Saanse basti hai tum mey.Humari saanse bhi rukenge toh bhi ek saath" Manik said,their's something in his tone that always gives her a satisfaction.

And he sealed his promise with a chaste kiss to which Nandini too responded.

"Abhi sleep meri jaan" Manik said with his sugary voice.

"Aur tum!?" She asked him to which he didn't say anything but occupied the place beside her on the bed.

He took her in his embrace,,Pecking her face every now n then.They slept there cuddling each other,Protecting eachother from this cruel world,holding eachother to their dear life,Letting their hearts talk to eachother.Feeling eachother.Hoping for a new beautiful morning to welcome them with its warmth,blessing them for their togetherness & praying for their long lives.
