"Mr Malhotra we've got some rules which we can't break we're sorry to disappoint you !!" The woman in early 40 said to Manik.

"But how can you do this !!! I told you earlier ..." Manik said frustrated.

"May be there's some misconception happened and we're sorry for that !!" The woman said making Manik restless.

The woman gave him sympathetic look and left from there,Manik stood rooted trying to control as he didn't want to creat any scene where Nandini has to stay thinking it may effect her image and career here.

After dropping Nandini at hostel,Manik came to office of Mayo to complete the formalities.Coming here he got a shock that he won't get the permission to stay in the hostel at night. This was a shocker to him. How'll he live!!?? How'll she react!!

He went back to hostel where he saw her waiting for him impatiently walking to and fro inside.

Seeing the door still open even after warning her to lock from inside & all the happenings around made him angry,he barged in & this sudden movement startled Nandini,Seeing him tensed Nandini walked towards him and hugged him saying "Itna time kyun laag Gaya Manik?? Abhi Toh unpack bhi karna hai ... Tumhe bhook bhi lagi hogi !! There's few things already settled in the kitchen main banau??"

"Nandini can you please keep quite and sit back for few minutes please !!? " Manik angry,he was frustrated,he was sad as a result these words came out. Though his voice wasn't harsh.

Surprisingly Nandini didn't reacted but sat on Manik's lap with a finger of hers on her lips. Manik looks at her surprised & raised his eye brows asking with a question mark on his face to which Nandini keeping that finger on her lip imitated his expressions.

Manik asked "What!!?"

Nandini too asked "What what !!??"

"Oh yeh!! You only asked me to keep quite & sit down.So being a good girl that's it" Nandini said innocently.

A warm smile broke into his lips seeing this woman child whom he's going to leave here & go back after few days. How he's going to survive !!

"Nandini,I've something to say .. Please bachha don't react ok ?? Just stay calm & trust me.. Haan!!?" Manik asked giving a her support with his one hand to her to sit properly & other hand was on her face.

Nandini nodded positively indicating him to continue further.

Getting the positive signal he stated "Baby I'm sorry I can't stay in the hostel with you in the night but trust me I'll be around you the whole day,I promise I won't leave your side for even once..You gotta trust me on that & wont shed even a single tear.Will you !!??" Manik said nervously as he was aware of her behaviour when it comes to leaving him & stay alone.

But again Nandini didn't reacted anything like that but to his surprise Nandini said "It's ok Manik,I'll manage,,din mein toh hum saath mein rahenge Na!! Koi nei..waise bhi I'll busy in studies fir I've got a new friend to who stays next door,we talked a little when you're away.."

Manik wasn't satisfied with this Nandini.Nandini,who's not gonna miss him,who didn't react on the matter of staying away from him.She's all cool about it. Is she going to change!!?? Is she changing !!??

If Nandini is child at heart to Manik then Manik too is.He loves her more than anything else in this universe.Staying away from her isn't easy for him still he gotta do this for her career.He too belonged from a broken past which Nandini mended only.Shes the one who tamed the hungry,mad creature.Hungry he was for true love,mad he was for being a broken soul for a long time.She cured him with all her being.If she's the star,he's the sky.If he's the sun,she's the sunshine.If he's darkness she's the fire who bought light & will turn into ashes if someone dared to touch her prized possessions.She won't let dark touch him till she breathes and till he breathes he won't let anything snatch her's.

"You're ok with it Nandini?? You don't have any problem ?? Manage kar logi tum without me ??" Manik asked,hurt would be an understatement may be.

"Haan Manik you too have work,,abh I can't get you all the time Na !! So I've to manage.." Nandini said all this with an understanding smile which irked him more.

"It's then let's fix your stuffs here then we'll go fix mine ok?? And I'm in the building ok?? Anything you feel not right just a call.. You know that right !!?" Was Manik getting a bit insecure!!?

"Yes Mani I know & Let's unpack mine then we'll think of  yours ok?? Chalo.." Nandini said excited & Manik just nodded faking a smile when Nandini kissed his forehead and moved to bring her luggage.

Manik came out of his own land when Nandini shouted "Manik kitna heavy hai help me Na !! Kya kaar rahe Ho !!??"

"Oh yeah right here!! Why're you trying Nandini !! Khaogi Nei kuch healthy Toh kaise strong hogi!!?? Move .." Manik said and took the luggage from her hand and they started unpacking and settling things when Manik's phone rang.

Hearing the Callertunes Nandini understood that it's Cabir so without waiting for to take out the phone from his pocket,she ran towards him and took out the phone & received immidiately.And Manik smilingly nodded his head.

Her cheerful "Hello" wasn't something Cabir expected.

"Hey bunny !! What's up?? All good?? You're fine right & Manik?? How's the flight sweetie?? Comfortable tha Na?? All Settled down??" Cabir asked & Nandini rolled her eyes.

"Freeze..." Nandini said & Cabir stopped.

Manik was just watching standing in a corner.

"Bhai how can you hold your breathe for so long,,mujhse Toh itni baatein eksaath Nei hoti babah!! Kaise aap kar lete Ho!! Waise koi Nei karni chaiye baat,,it's good for health..Aab doctor Toh bhala Nei kahenge k baat karma Achha hai kyun Ki agar insaan Saab healthy rahe toh unka ghar kaise chalega !!! Lekin main hoon Na soon to be doctor main Saab bataungi aapko.. Aap tension bilkul maat lijiye saab healthy rahenge mere hoteh huye ghar mein Aur Haan meko chocolates bhi mil gaye bag mein !! Maine Toh ek kha bhi li jaab Manik Saab unpack kar raha tha !!!! Aur Na....." Someone dared to interrupt Nandini Murthy in between her talks. Who's that !!??

"Nandini are you even listening what are you talking !!?? Is your talks have any meaning and you said Cabir talks too much !!!?? Like seriously ..." He said to which Nandini made an angry pout and they heard the jovial merriment from the other side  of the phone.

Nandini rolled her eyes with that angry pout still there on her lips.

"Waise Ms.Soon to be doctor release your brother you know Na Untill you release him he'll be freezes and trust me he wants to laugh so loud but controlling himself that he's all red now" Navya  said.

"Release karungi toh hasenge bhai hai Na !!!?? Fir Toh waise hi rehne do unhe..." Nandini said and Manik laughed.

"Waise you guys ok Na??!! Saab thik hai waha ??" Everyone asked in unison.

"Haan Saab thik hai but the only thing is Manik won't be able to stay here with me in the hostel,they won't permit but he'll be staying at the boys hostel. But it's ok !! I'll be busy too in studies Toh what will Manik do,,he too needs to focus on his work" Nandini said casually and others jaw dropped to the floor.

"And you're all fine with it !??" Again everyone asked in unison.

"Yeah,,why !!??" Nandini looked at Manik who was noticing Nandini intently.

"Nandini is the weather there captivating babe!!?? How come this change in you !!?" Alya asked.

They talked for few more minutes and then settled Nandini's room.Adter that Nandini made some easy go dishes and after having their lunch & taking rest which means a nap in eachothers embrace cuddling,pecking finally Manik decided "Let's go Nandini,,lets unpack mine and we'll order the dinner"

"Uumm. Manik the friend of mine next door asked me to come in the evening for a talk over coffee. I'm sorry Mani but can you manage please !!?? I promise we'll have dinner together" Nandini said with guilt.

"But baby you shouldn't be friends with anyone just like that,,you don't even know her!! You people talked for just few minutes and you're ready to go to her room !! This is a new country for you Nandini and things aren't as easy as you're thinking it to be !! Take time baby.." Manik said restlessly.

"Manik she's good and it's just about a cup of coffee Aur woh just next door mein hi hai ..." Nandini too tried convincing Manik.

"Please please please Manik pretty please !!??" Nandini ms cute pout couldn't have worked if not Manik was getting angry.

"Ok fine !!" Saying this Manik left the room.

In the boys hostel:-

Am in doing wrong !!?? Why's she behaving like she doesn't care !!

Manik chucked his thoughts and started unpacking few things as he won't be needing everything he brought as he's going to leave for India after 2 weeks.Now the biggest task is to tell Nandini about this !!! He was way too much afraid to even think about telling Nandini.

It's been almost 1 n half hours he's settling & Nandini didn't even checked on him for once in between her talk over coffee.

He was missing her already.Having Nanini around him is his habit,he feels good,he feels satisfied when she demands things though she isn't demanding at all but get little adorable demands when he's busy in working or doing anything has become his habit now. She'll run around the house,she'll disturb him sitting on his lap while he's working,she won't let him look at his iPad or files if he ignored her for even more than 15 mins.Thats way too much time though!!

He remembered when they went to their tour for Paris for one month.She didn't let him unpack their luggage at once. Like; if Manik started unpacking Nandini will come after 10 mins and hold his hand,drag him towards couch,make him sit & she'll sit on his lap silently taking his hands,making them wrap around her waist and keep her head on his heart & won'tdo anything other than sitting quietly.If he asked what's with that behaviour of hers !! She'll simply answer Babies shouldn't be ignored for a long,it can harm them !! And after her answers what followed was her laughter,kisses,pecks,cuddling,sleeping.

"I love you Nandini,I hope things remain same!!" Manik whispered as silent tears made their way.

But the person standing behind the door of his room smiled a little through tears "Things can never change between Manik & Nandini"

Few days as in 4days past.Nandini couldn't give proper time to Manik as her schedules were tight where on the other hand Manik was getting restless,his insecurities are increasing without his knowledge,he sheds tears thinking that his one decision might kill him,he can't bear anymore.

Nandini's condition wasn't any good !! She was determined to "I'll make you regret your decision Manik..." Thing.

Where she too was suffering,she was blaming herself for Manik's condition still she wanted Manik to understand that this can never work between them,Manan were not meant to be separated,they're meant to be together,hamesha till eternity or beyond that.

She was skipping her meals,she didn't take care of herself which was evident as she's become dull,her face has become pale,she's getting weak. He's too going through the same but he's a man.

One week passed like this and still Nandini couldn't change his decision.

Yes,Nandini got know that day only when Manik & Cabir talked before leaving.Their conversation was heard by Nandini who went to call Manik,she doubted and thus She called Thom and asked "Thom,who's going to attend the meetings?? Manik isn't there Na that's y I'm asking !!"

And Thom's reply  baat her the floor beneath Nandini "Sir postponed all the meeting after two weeks as he said he's going to come back after around 14 or 16days only."

"I won't let you do this Manik,,you'll regret this decision and take me back with you!!" Nandini said smiling through her tears.
