After Rithick went out from that place, Rahul seemed helpless. Neethu had no idea about what was going on between Rithick and Rahul. She thought of asking Rahul eye to eye but Rahul was not his usual. For the first time, she could see Rahul so distracted. He looked pale and lifeless. She didn't want to question Rahul in this situation. 

Rahul was looking strangely at the things around him. His lifeless eyes were wet. 

Neethu didn't know what to do at that moment. She tried to break the silence but couldn't do it because she couldn't face Rahul's tear filled eyes!

An hour later, the silence was broken by a phone call. Rahul's phone rang. He sat like statue without making any attempt to attend the phone call. 

When the phone rang again, Neethu asked Rahul to attend the call. He didn't respond. After 5 missed calls, he attended the phone. 

It was Rithick on the other side.

"Rahul! Why didn't you attend my call? Be serious about the matter, Rahul, please. Try to understand the situation," said Rithick.

"Leave me Rithick!" Replied Rahul.

Rithick replied angrily "I know what to do. You just shut up Rahul. If you keep behaving like this, you can go away from me Rahul," 

"Are you asking me to go away from your life? How you could say these words to me Rithick?" said Rahul with tears in his eyes.

Without replying, Rithick hung the phone.

Neethu heard the words finally spoken by Rahul. She was shocked and angry on Rithick.

"What happened to Rithick? Why was he asking you to go away from his life?" Neethu questioned Rahul.

Rahul didn't reply instead he made a call to Rithick.

Rithick didn't attend his call.

Rahul tried another time.

There was no response from Rithick's side.

Neethu tried from her phone but Rithick didn't attend the call.

After a few minutes, Rithick's phone was switched off.

Neethu's anger reached it's peak. She couldn't control herself.

"What is Rithick thinking about himself? He doesn't know how to respect the feelings of others. How cruel is he to tell you to get away from his life. What a man is he? I am ashamed of Rithick. No one can get a cousin like you Rahul," Neethu went on and on.

" Will you please stop blaming Rithick? What do you know about my Rithick? The only thing you know is the friendship between us. No one can get a cousin like my Rithick!" Said Rahul emotionally

"Rithick doesn't love you as much as you do Rahul, because if he really loved you, he wouldn't have left you in this toughest moment. He left you Rahul. He is a heartless person who has no feelings and no emotions whatsoever " said Neethu angrily.

"Will you please shut up? Who is the heartless person here? Rithick loved me more than his life. Today I am alive because of him. He is the man who gave me my life back years before." said Rahul emotionally.

"What? He gave your life back? I can't understand, what is going between you two?" Neethu said.

"I think it's time to share my deepest secret with you Neethu because I trust you next only to my Rithick. You are only aware of the happiest side of us but I am dying inside each and every moment thinking of Rithick and even  Rithick doesn't know about this. Only two other people know about this and that is my dad and Rithick's dad" said Rahul with tears.

"What are you saying Rahul? Thank you for trusting me, I am grateful to you Rahul," Neethu's eyes became wet.

"Rithick's life is in danger. Anything could happen to him at any minute. I am not here to study together with him, I am his bodyguard," said Rahul.

"Oh my God! Why is Rithick in danger? Any health problems?" Neethu cried and her love on him increased beyond the limit. She started to miss him a lot.

"No health issues. Please Neethu, control yourself. It should be secret. At any cost, Rithick shouldn't know about it!" Said Rahul.

"Why is Rithick's life in danger? I want to see him now," she cried out.

"Please! Tell me. Why this hopeless life for Rithick? Please Rahul! Tell me," 

"I am one of the reasons for this hopeless life of Rithick. My dearest uncle Sanjay is another reason. There are a  lot of other reasons also. Until today, my dad Ruthra and me couldn't find the secret behind the threatened life of Rithick," said Rahul, painfully.

Neethu cried out loudly. She was not aware of the reasons behind Rahul's words. Her beautiful face turned pale. Her eyes became red. 

A few minutes later,

"Whatever is the trouble Rahul, I will be with you. We will make Rithick's life safe together" said Neethu, wiping her tears.

"Thanks Neethu! This is what I wanted," said Rahul.

"If you don't mind, please tell me about your past and let us together find out the life threatening reasons for Rithick!"

"Neethu! Do you know, who is Rithick? His background?" Rahul asked.

"I am not aware of that Rahul. Tell me."

"Rithick is the only son of the top businessman in the country," Rahul revealed the truth.

"What?" Neethu asked with shocking eyes.

"Yup! Mr.Sanjay is his dad,"

"The great businessman Sanjay!" She had no words to say. "I saw him in the college on the inaugural function day and I have also read about him in newspapers and magazines. I have also seen him on the TV news!"

"I can't believe this but I am happy for Rithick to get such a hard working and good gentleman as his dad. Why didn't Rithick tell me about his dad? " Neethu asked. Her fear increased beyond the limit because in magazines she had came across many life threatening incidents for great businessman.

"That's his situation Neethu! Also, one more important thing, to keep Rithick safe, no one should know about Rithick, especially that he is Sanjay uncle's son," said Rahul.

"Ok sure Rahul"

"Now! Where is Rithick? I want to see him," she cried out. Tears rolled out from her eyes with lots of love and care for Rithick.

Without giving any time for Rahul's reply, she began, 

"Why did you leave him alone Rahul?"

"Why is his phone was switched off? Did anything happen to Rithick?" She cried out. Immediately, she took her mobile and made a call to Rithick.

His phone was switched off.
Her fear kept on increasing . Her heart started pounding faster.

"Neethu! Cool down please, At this moment Rithick is safe. You dont worry Neethu," said Rahul.

"Are you sure?"

"Yup Neethu,"

She relaxed for a minute.

"Rahul! Where is Rithick? You and Rithick are always together but now, what happened to you both?" Neethu was confused by the strange and unexpected incidents happening around her.

Rahul was decided to reveal their past to Neethu because he felt that Neethu could make effort for making Rithick's life to safe zone.
