"U-um M-Momiji? P-please b-be my Valentine!" A girl with black hair and grey eyes stuttered, ignoring Megumi and I. We watched Momiji fake a smile.

"I'm sorry! I can't. But I'll bet you can find a better guy!" Momiji forced out politely.

The girl walked away, crestfallen.

"That was the 15th time." Momiji groaned. Megumi shrugged and returned to his book.

"Hinaaaaataaaaaaa. Make it stooooooop." I laughed as he fell into his back and rolled around groaning in annoyance.

"What can I say Momiji? You're just to like able for your own good." I messed up his curly blonde hair and he scowled, pulling his hat over his face.

"How many requests did you get Megumi?" I asked curiously, girls had stopped both boys before and after classes.

"6," he said casually turning the page of his book.

"That's...2 more than last year." I patted his back and he raised an eyebrow.

"You're counting?"

"Of course I am. This is perfect teasing material. When you marry and I'm picked as best man-"

"Hinata, you're a girl."

"Then I can tell everyone about your past loves." I grinned brightly.

"You. Are. A. Girl." Megumi emphasized.

I shrugged, and turned back to my sketch of the oak tree we were sitting at.

"So...did you get us anything for Valentines Day?" Momiji asked mischievously.

"No, definitely not."

"What?! Why not?"

"Because Valentines are about lovey dovey stuff. Yes, I love you guys like brothers but this day is about 'true love' and all that gushy stuff." I rolled my eyes in disgust.

"Besides, if you wanted candy you should have just accepted the request." I finished, picking up my bag and stuffing my sketchbook in. Despite my words I felt a tinge of an emotion I couldn't place, squeeze my chest.

"It's true, Hinata hates Valentines Day. She thinks it's gross." Megumi shrugged.

Momiji frowned and looked down sadly.

"Oh stop pouting. I'm sure Tohru will give you something." I thought back to when Tohru brought in bags of chocolate.

I nearly groaned when I realized where she got the money. Didn't she need it for a class trip or something? Tohru was either too nice or too stupid for her own good.

I was leaning towards the later.

"But I wanted something from you!" Momiji whined and tugged on my sleeve.

"Uh no, people would get the wrong idea. People would despise me even more." Akito would have a field day.

"I don't care!" He protested.

"I do." I grumbled.

For the rest of the day Momiji sulked like a child. He still walked home with me but his bunny ear stuck on top and fell across his scalp.

As soon as we reached Shigure's house I walked into the kitchen where Tohru was bound to be.

I was right of course. Tohru was there organizing chocolates and such to Kyo, Yuki, Shigure, and Kagura.

I slumped down in a seat and massaged my temples. Momiji followed with a dark wave of depression.

Everyone glanced between us and Yuki coughed.

"So, anything happen at school today?" He asked casually.

"Momiji is just sulking at my refusal to partake in a useless holiday which in my opinion is a complete waste of time." I snapped.

"It's not useless!" Momiji protested.

The others shared a knowing smile that got me irritated. What were they smiling about?! I wish I could hit someone! Hm...Kyo is looking really tempting right now.

"Why do you want Hinata to take part in this holiday Momiji?" Kagura asked slyly.

Momiji went quiet for a minute, his face looked pink for a moment but when I blinked his face was back to his regular color, it must have been a trick of light.

"I dunno." He shrugged and slumped his shoulders.

"I think you do Momiji-kun~!" Shigure sang.

"No I don't!" Momiji cried in frustration.

Kagura sighed and shook her head. "This is why I love my sweet Kyo~! He understands true love!"

"What are you talking about?!?" Kyo yelled angrily.

Yuki sighed and kneaded his forehead.

In the chaos that followed, I slipped out with a few ¥.

Later when I came back, no one noticed I had slipped away. Kagura and Tohru gave me boxes of chocolate and then Kagura forced Kyo to eat a chocolate heart.

I sat down in front of the T.V next to a flustered Momiji. I wonder what Shigure told him?

We watched a weird anime for a moment until I thrust a box to him without looking at him.

"Eh?"

"You wouldn't stop sulking so I just got it. Don't overthink it. You were only irritating me." I huffed.

"Hehe," I glanced over to see Momiji grinning before he tackled me into a hug, "sure thing Heart Girl."

Poof!

"Get off Bunny Boy! You're crushing me!"

"I'm not even heavy!"

"You weigh as much as a baby elephant."

"Hinata! You're so mean!"

"Get off baby elephant!"

"I'm a bunny! B-U-N-N-Y!"

"I didn't know bunnies weighed so much."
