"Culture festival?"

"Yeah! Our class is doing onigiri's! (rice-balls) why don't you come by when your class visits?" Tohru asked eagerly.

"Eh sure." I said distractedly, I pet Miyuki one last time and stood up.

"We're doing a buy 1 get 1 free!"

"That's great Tohru." I said picking up a box.

"Kyo is surprisingly good at building!"

"Uh huh. Keep it up. Good grades, hard work, have fun." I placed the box with the others.

"And and all the senior girls bought a dress robe for Yuki!" I froze in my tracks. This I had to see.

I laughed as I saw Yuki get surrounded by girls and boys alike with hearts in their eyes. To say Yuki wasn't pleased is an understatement.

I sat down in a empty table and watched the bustling of the stand. People obviously came to see Yuki. I'm guessing only 2% came for the rice balls only.

The whole scene was oddly calming. Kyo was being teased by classmates, Yuki was being flirted with relentlessly, Tohru was grinning and serving people, and everyone was bustling around.

It was strange. Usually I preferred the quiet, the scratching of a pen or the slight swish of a page.

Well that's gone I guess, thanks to the Sohma's.

"Hinata!" Tohru waved enthusiastically.

I slid off the chair and walked over to the enthusiastic brunette.

"Doesn't Yuki look cute?" She exclaimed. Yuki glared from where he was.

"Oh yes, absolutely adorable." I smirked as he flinched at the word.

"Just like a girl" Another flinch. I held back my laughter.

"I know right?" Tohru didn't seem to notice anything.

"Hey Tohru! Is that your little sister? She's so cute!" Another brunette with short hair exclaimed. An irk mark appeared on my head.

"Yes! This is Hinata. Hinata that is Mika." She smiled.

"Mhm! Hinata can you come help me bring a couple of boxes real quick? We're kinda short on hands." She sent me a apologetic look.

"Um sure." I followed her outside.

~Third Person POV~
Momiji bounced inside the school excitedly with a green haired man behind him.

Momiji was excited, he was finally going to meet the girls who knew about them.

"Hurry up Hatori!" He called running ahead. He rolled his eyes and continued his leisurely pace.

He walked into the crowded classroom and saw his cousin Yuki surrounded by people.

Momiki jumped on his back, "Yuki, you look like a girl!" He exclaimed.

Everyone started muttering in confusion.

"You shouldn't wander by yourself." Hatori said, coming into the room. "How are you Yuki, Kyou?" He asked emotionlessly as usual.

The girls started gushing over them. It didn't bother him though. Most girls did.

Except for Hinata. Momiji shook his head, of course she didn't. She was different than all these girls. She was Hinata.

"So who are you?" Asked Tohru curiously.

"I'm Yuki and Kyou's relative!"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"Momiji is fine but why is that bastard Hatori here?" Kyo muttered.

"Hey Yuki, when did you become a girl?"

"You're teasing me now too?" He growled.

"Ok deep breaths." Hatori said putting his hand on Yuki's chest.

"Yuki's lungs are weak. When he was little he had a lot of attacks." He explained.

"Are you Honda, Tohru?" Hatori asked.

"Yes?"

"Hm, she is an ordinary girl." He said. Kyo tensed up.

"Oi idiot! Get off the booth!" A guy yelled at Momiji. He didn't see the problem with eating on the booth...

Kyo grabbed him and pulled him inside. "Sit here!" He yelled and punched his head. "Owwwww Kyo that huuurt!" He cried.

"Oh hi Tohru!" Momiji immediately cheered up.

"Um how did you know my name?" She asked nervously.

"You're the talk of the house!"

"You know 'bout us right?" He asked.

"Um yes."

"Then it's okay to hug you!" Personally, he didn't care if she freaked out or not.

"Hey you can't do that!" Kyo yelled.

"I bet you hug everyday!" Momiji pouted.

"W-wha?" He blushed and he took the chance and hugged Tohru just as someone came in.

Poof!

"Eh?!?" People clamored but Yuki distracted them with a girly look.

Momiji looked up at the person who came in and froze.

Hinata?

She stood stiffly, shocked. Eyes wide and mouth closed tightly.

He felt his heart clench. He didn't want her to see. He didn't want her to see him like this. Now she had to get her memories erased. Just like his Mama.

"Momiji?" She asked quietly in shock.

He stared at her before bolting.

~Hinata POV~

I stood stiff and straight looking at the pile of Momiji's clothes.

"Eh? You know him Hinata?" Tohru asked.

For once I didn't answer. I picked up Momiji's clothes and ran after him.

I found him at the back of the school. He had a jacket wrapped around himself and shadows covered his eyes.

"Momiji?" I called to him softly.

His head was low.

"I'm sorry you had to see that." He whispered sadly.

"Momiji you're a Sohma...aren't you?"

"Yes." Sadness laced his voice. "You must think I'm a monster right?"

I smiled and sat next to him. "Only if you think I'm good-for-nothing."

His head bolted up. "Of course you're not! How can you say that!"

"Well there you go." I handed him his clothes.

"You're not freaked out?" He asked almost afraid of hearing the answer.

"Of course not. Kyo, Yuki, Shigure, and Kagura beat you to it."

"You mean, you know?"

"Yes. Besides," I looked at the blue sky. "We're best friends. Best friends come in all shapes and sized right? So your the bunny boy and I'm the heart girl."

He smiled softly, "we make quite the team huh?"

"You bet. Wouldn't have it any other way Bunny Boy."

"Same Heart Girl." We grinned at each other.

"Your going to let me pet you one of these days."

"Haha! Whatever, your wish is denied!"

"Who said I was asking?"
