Days went by as her leg healed and she adapted to her new life in the village. The villagers were more than eager to help and make her feel more at home. Then she ever did in her home town. She grew quite close to Rachel closer then she ever was to her twin. They told each other everything. Rachel turned out to be married to Gorge since they were young and had two adorable loving daughters with him. Abby the nine years old and Tracy who was only four. They were both as sweet as could be and grew very fond of Heather. Started calling her aunty. When the boys were off doing work or hunting they would take the kids and go to Leon's or their house and sometimes even the park. The villagers made for the children and would watch them play till their hearts content. Heather also learned that the villagers did have the bloodline of the lion shifters but couldn't shift. Leon was the only purebred lion shifter left so he was the only one who could actually shift or could produce any purebred offspring. No one seemed to know why though which struck Heather as quiet odd. She wasn't the only one either Doc and Gramps have spent years studying the phenomenon. But always came up with no accurate results. Her and Rachel we're at her house one evening while the men were off hunting. They were watching the girls while hanging out in her kitchen while Rachel made some herbal tea. When Heather's phone rang for the first time letting her know she had got a text. She pulled it out curiously. Forgetting she had put her new number in the cards she had sent back to her family. It wasn't a number she recognized. She opened reading.

'You stupid slut you cheated on me. Fat ass.' She didn't have a clue who it was.

'Okay jackass ass first of all I wasn't cheating if I broke up with my peice of shit ex. And second of all bitch I'm pragnant not fat there's a fucking difference. And third of all what I do with my life or my husband is between me and him not everyone in bumfuk Egypt. Now who the hell is this and how'd get my number.' She sent getting the answer she dreaded.

'It's Mike don't play dumb tramp. I got the number from the card you sent to your parents. Why the fuck would you just walk out on me. Then I find out you got married and now your pragnant. You and your new husband are fucking dead you hear me dead.' She read laughing at his meaningless threat. So she records a viocemail to him.

"Ya sure Pillsbury dough boy. Have you seen my husband. Compared to you scrawny ass. He could literally crush you without even trying. If you think you're stupid threat really scares me. You're hilarious. Just watch asswhole he could literally rip you bitch ass in two. Now lose my fucking number toothpick." She laughed hysterically sending it.

"Everything okay?" Rachel asked so she showed her the messages.

"Oh my he as no idea who he's messing with. Leons not the type you want to make an enmey. Your ex's got a death wish. I so dare you to show that to Leon on when he gets home. He'll literally go ballistic." She laughed. When the men randomly walked in. With containers are freshly cut meat. Gorge kissed her as Leon kissed Heather accidentally seeing the messages over her shoulder. He growled showing his fangs. Snatching her phone.

"Who sent you this?" He demanded angrily.

"My peice of shit ex I was going to show you but you seen them before I had the chance." Heather replied, he walked into the back room and they followed as he put the phone up to his ear.

"Listen here you little peice of shit. DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK TO MY WIFE LIKE THAT AGAIN OR I'LL SURE AS HELL MAKE IT YOUR LAST. Don't ever call her again or I'll track you down myself. And if I find out you ever threaten her again or my children I will personally put you Six Feet Under without even hesitating. That's my family you don't talk to them like that. lose her number and never contact her again but find out you do I will come and I will find you." He snarled yelling into the phone. They they watched an amusement trying not to laugh. He put him on speaker.

"And who the fuck is this?" Mike asked trying to hide the fear in his voice.

"Your worst fucking nightmare. Got it Punk and don't you ever call my wife. A bitch a tramp or anything ever again or I will seriously kick your ass. Don't think she won't knock out where you are she's my wife trust me I can get her to tell me anything remember little boy if you don't want to play with the big guys. Never contact her again. she is my wife she deserves respect not to be treated like a piece of garbage from a piece of shit like you who has absolutely no life except to fuck her sister. Don't think I don't know about that or about how you treated her or about how abusive you were or about how you screwed around with all her friends. I know literally everything about her past. She's told me everything so don't think you're not already on my bad sideand trust me unless you want a whole entire Community trying to go after you I would suggest leaving her alone." He growled pacing back and forth. As someone else took the phone.

"Excuse me but why are you threatening my daughter's fiance?" My father answered.

"Mike is not my fiance he cheated on me with my sister so obviously he's not we broke up and that's my husband. Dad go through the messages that make sent me earlier you'll see why he sent him why he called him and said what he did. He's just being protective he's a good man. He respects me and he hates it whenever somebody tries to disrespect me. And he does not put up with anybody who treats me like absolute garbage." I answered.

"Really because Mike's at the you guys worked everything out. Then we got that weird card with that picture and we got all confused. So you guys aren't engaged anymore? But you guys have been together forever I figured that you guys wouldn't want it end like that." He asked, Heather sighed grabbing the phone.

"Yeah I thought we did. But my sister decided to send me a picture of them in bed. So I broke it off and ended up meeting Leon actually when I was trying to get away from him because I know he hates forests. you may not be aware of this cuz I was too afraid to tell you what the time. But Mike was actually kind of abusive. He actually used to verbally and physically abuse. I just didn't tell you because I knew how much you liked him and because they thought I cared about him and I thought he loved me. But he didn't. So I found somebody that does. So please respect my decision to be with my husband. Cuz he's actually a very nice very good guy inside and out he respects me he doesn't touch me like that. Doesn't do anything he knows I'm not comfortable with and honestly Dad he's down right he's the sweetest guy ever. You guys would really love him if you guys give him a chance. But you guys probably won't cuz you like Mike too much. Plus I actually love Leon like love love. He's gentle with me he's caring he's kind of nurturing but he's also very strong and very protective. So please just respect my decisions I'm not asking you to like him. I'm not asking you to meet him. I'm not asking anything big. I'm just asking you to respect my decisions. But one day hopefully you guys will open up to him and actually get to know him. He's the father of my children and I love him to pieces." Heather informed him.

"Heather is that why your showing in the picture. Are you pregnant?" He asked.

"Yes Dad I'm not fat I'm having triplets what do you expect me to look like a twig. Of course I'm going to be kind of round." She joked chuckling hearing her mother yelling in the background at Mike. She couldn't help but laugh as she listened to her kick his ass. When the video chat came on showing her mother holding the phone.

"Baby why didn't you tell me that Mike was doing that? You know I would have kicked his ass if I would have known. But you never said anything we thought you were happy. But I'm glad you're happy now I just wish you would have told us. Wait is that Lion behind you holy shit he's huge. Hi sweetie I'm sorry that we didn't know what was going on and I'm sorry that you got dragged in all this trouble. Thank you for sticking up for my daughter." Mom said seeing him leaning over her looking over her head.

"Ya yeah Mom this is Leon and yeah he is huge I know. He has a tendency to tease me cuz of how short I am compared to him. Waring most of the time I'm not going to lie you'll see him walking around shirtless. Cuz this man just doesn't know what clothes are." Heather laughed as her dad peeked at the screen his face was priceless. When Leon decided to lift the phone above his head showing both of us and showing how ripped he was. Also showing off his tattoos he was covered in tribal tattoos from his clan.

"Holy shit he's a lot bigger than he looked in the picture. I mean you look big but not that big Holly crap. I could really use him around when I need help. I mean he looks like a bodybuilder. Look at those muscles." Her father teased, they laughed.

"At least we know our grand babies will be pretty good looker's. I mean he's a handsome young man. Please tell me at least one of the kids is a boy?" Mom asked.

"Ya yeah at least one from what we can tell is male. The others were not sure of their gender." Heather assured him and Leon's face was absolutely priceless.

"Love what the fuck why didn't you tell me? I'd like to know that I was having a son. When did you find out?" He yelled practically dropping the phone. Heather caught it laughing. As he hugged lifting her into his arms and kissed her all over her face. And unconsciously started purring excitedly. When her father noticed Lion's eyes.

"Sweetie is yours husband a non-human?" He asked they stopped.

"Um shit I didn't rehearse this one. What am I supposed to say to that." Leon whispered to Heather nervously.

"Um Dad how do you know about them?" Heather asked.

"Sweetie everybody knows about them.  Recently released it release their existence it's okay if he is I'm not mad I've just wasn't expecting that cuz they're so rare. So yeah everybody's aware of their existence. They're practically worship the fact that you could even find one is pretty astounding." Her father answered.

"Sorry I didn't know that. Yes I'm a purebred. Sorry about that sir. We beings try to stay to ourselves. Since I'm technically the only one in my clan that can actually shift or that is a purebred. My clan tends to stay in the dark about Mortal stuff. Plus my whole entire Clan is in the middle of nowhere where I can't get information like that." Leon exclaimed.

"Understandable. So I'm one question how would I go to see my grandkids if I want to go see em?" Her father asked.

"Well we could either come to you. But I would rather not meet up with this Mike guy. We could also just give you coordinates of how to get here. But we would have to pick you up at some point at the road because we're literally in the middle of the forest. There's no roads leading to here since we're technically a died out species. After my species was hunted down almost Extinction. We cut ourselves off from the humans." Leon exclaimed.

"What type of being are you if you don't mind me asking?" Her mother asked curiously.

"Shifter ma'am." He replied, their faces lit up.

"Really that's a relief. I just it's kind of nervous you were going to say vampire. They really freak me out." She let out a sigh of relief.

"No ma'am pure shifter. I don't blame you they freak me out too and I'm not even human." Leon snickered, they laughed.

"So what type of shifter I know the most common is a wolf?" Heather's father asked.

"I'm not much of a dog fan. So definitely not in the canine section. In fact I am a member of the feline family." He chuckled.

"Oh like a house cat." She teased, he laughed shaking his head.

"No much bigger than a house cat try an African lion." He replied their eyes widened.

"I heard that all of them were extinct." Her father replied.

"They are technically you're looking at the last known purebred member. So all my Offspring will carry my shifter Gene." Leon replied.

"Okay now you definitely have to let me see them when they're born." He replied. We nodded.

"Alright well it's getting late it was nice meeting you Leon. We love you guys please call us and check in so we know what's going on and know you're alright." Her mother said.

"Yeah it's been a long day and she needs her rest we love you guys too and we will check in." Leon said, they waved goodbye hanging up.
