Chapter Seven

One hour later...

"Wakey, wakey!" Anna yelled psychotically, chucking a bucket of water over my head.
I screamed as I snapped my eyes open. "Do you think you could try waking me up without giving me pneumonia?!" I yelled through gritted teeth.
"Calm down! Make yourself at home. There's beer in the fridge, help yourself," she offered perkily.
"What? Why? Is it poisoned?" I commented snarkily.
"No, but it's light," she said. I looked at her, confused. "Light beer, it's better for you," She explained.
"Why? Why are you doing this?" I asked.
"You'll be here for a while, you can take the room on the left," she smiled, pointing down the hallway.
"Where are you going?" I asked as she began to leave.
"To take care of your friends, it'll be nicer without them on my back, after all," she smirked.
"Wait! No! Don't hurt them! Please don't hurt them!"
But it was too late. She was already gone.

Roy's P.O.V

Thea. She's all that's on my mind. Well, I wish she was the only thing on my mind. I can't help thinking that Anna might kill her. I enter the Cortex to find Caitlin and Barry deep in conversation.
"We found Anna," I told them. "Ferris Airlines in Coast City. Oliver says we need to suit up."
"Okay. We'll finish this conversation later," Caitlin said to Barry a little sterner.
I grabbed my bow and walked towards the exit.
"Well, no need for me to change, haven't exactly got a suit. I guess you don't either," Caitlin said, pointing at me, but I guess she's Killer Frost now. "As for you," She looked at Barry, "You really pissed Caity off."
"Let's just go," Barry said flashing into his suit and speeding out
"Don't worry it's not what you think. Caity is just a bit overprotective," Frost smirked.
"Gotcha," I muttered, not really understanding.

When we arrived at the deserted runway, I noticed Anna step out from the shadows.
"Ah, you're here!" Anna chirped, "Well I guess that saves me a trip," She smirked.
"Where's Thea?" I yelled angrily.
"I can't tell you that," She smirked.
"Anna, where is she?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
"Can't tell you that either," Anna ran a hand through her hair.
"Over here!" Barry yelled pointing over to us.
Oliver ran over, taking cover next to Barry.
"Nightlock, you have failed this city," Oliver said in his voice changer.
"Oh not just this one," Anna smirked. She walked up to Oliver and placed a hand on his chest. She was about to place her lips on his, when an icy mist blew her away.
"That's my trick," Killer Frost said, placing a hand on Oliver's shoulder, "You okay?" she asked.
"I'm good," Oliver nodded. "We'll handle Anna. Go find Thea," he ordered.
"Yes sir," I nodded to him and took a few steps before shooting the side of a building with a roped arrow and pulling myself up.
I looked over the city, there was a warehouse. Something about it just stood out. I decided to investigate.
I ziplined down to the warehouse and heard muffled yells.
Carefully, I broke the door open. I moved closer to the noise. I turned a corner and saw Thea in a ball on the floor, crying.
"Thea!" I cried, running over to her.
"Roy!" She wrapped her fragile arms around me.
I pulled her in close, kissing her on the forehead. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," She sighed in relief.
"I love you so much, I will never lose you again," I said, hugging her and stroking her hair.
"Roy I- We- We can't be together," she said, tears filling her eyes again.
"What?" I asked in disbelief.
I felt crushed. I loved Thea beyond everything in my world. Everything I thought was in love with me, everything I've worked so hard to get, it's like I've had an arrow through the chest, more specifically, my heart.
"What do you mean?" I asked Thea. My heart is shattered. She's the thorn in my flesh... that I can't take out.
"I'm sorry," Thea told me, tears flooding her cheeks, "We can't do this anymore."
"What-What do you mean?" I asked her. "We got to such a good place in our relationship and you're just willing to throw it all away?" My face was distressed and I had the palm of my left hand on my forehead.
Thea seemed to notice. "I'm sorry, Roy," She said, her face stained by her tears.
I nodded. "I just want to do this, one last time," I said, before pressing my lips against Thea's.
Thea melted into the kiss before pulling away. "I'm sorry," she said again, a fresh set of tears running down her face.
I gently let go of Thea and walked outside, where the rain was now pouring. I need somewhere to go and I think I know just the place.
