~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

After Meliodas left, Merlin started her lessons on me right off the bat. I was learning about the other clans of Britannia. She informed me who their leaders and their history. When it hit nightfall the lessons ended. "Merlin!" I heard a voice shout at the door as I turned around seeing a relatively large pink pig who had an earring with the words star boar on its left ear. The ears seemed to be in an M-shape while I noticed a clover-shaped marking on its rump. "Hawk welcome back" Merlin spoke confusing me.

"This must be Elizabeth!" the pig spoke making my eyes widen once more. I had heard stories of talking animals but I thought they weren't possible or real. "Elizabeth meet Hawk. The Captain's companion" Merlin soon spoke as I was still quiet. Hawk walked over smiling at me as he soon was informing me to never try Meliodas's cooking. Merlin only laughed slightly. "Seems we will be moving tonight then" Merlin spoke aking me confused once more. I still was very new to The Seven Deadly Sins and how they worked things.

I went to ask what Merlin meant until the ground started shaking. "The Boar Hat is a travelling tavern. Hawk's mother a giant green pig being the one to carry us around in payment of protecting and looking after her son" Merlin soon explained to me as I moved to the window of her room. Her words really were true. My eyes widen even more than before seeing Hawk speak. A giant green pig looking nearly like Hawk was under the Boar Hat tavern. "Lessons are over until tomorrow morning. Rest. You will need it" Merlin soon spoke.

I turned my head looking at her. She was grabbing some books from the many piles she had around the room. I only left and headed to my room. I was in shock still. It wasn't long before thoughts about my father came into my head. He was in danger. My two elder sisters were in danger also. I can't remember what any of them looked like but they were still family. I wanted to help them any way I could. "Elizabeth!" I heard Diane's voice as I saw her outside my room's door holding what looked like clothing in her arms.

"Me and King made you some more clothes" she soon informed me as I nodded, getting to stand in front of her. There were too many thoughts rushing in and out of my head. Diane and I headed into my room as she showed me what they made. Diane made me some nightgowns as King had made me some everyday wear. "Will you tell King I said thank you?" I asked in a whisper as Diane nodded smiling brightly. She soon grabbed my hands getting me to look fully at her. My eyes were on the clothing they made.

"We will save your father Elizabeth. All of us Sins owe him but...." Diane soon lost her smile after speaking as I was confused. Her eyes soon moved down to the ground, holding my hands tighter. That was when I noticed Meliodas at the door. "Elizabeth he locked you away and hurt you so much.....I never thought King Bartra was like that, if we knew sooner.....I am so sorry you suffered so much from him Elizabeth" Diane moved her head back up fast, speaking loudly as her eyes were watering.

I was in shock. "I will make him explain everything even if I have to beat it out of him! I promise you, we will find out everything and help you" Diane then spoke as my own eyes were watering. She sounded so series. I was able to hear in her voice she understood my pain. She understood my confusion and that I needed answers. "Diane" I whispered as she smiled at me, tears building in the corners of her eyes along with my own. I didn't use to show emotion, crying or anything like it. 

I hadn't done anything like it in so long. "We are all friends and family now Elizabeth! So now you are my little sister!" Diane then spoke as a smile started to form on my face. Family. Friends. Two things I used to wish for. Two things I used to crave for. Two things I used to think up in my head. Two things I used to have. Diane soon pulled me into a tight hug shocking me slightly. "So don't ever be scared to come to one of us. We all want to help you Elizabeth" Diane whispered as I ended up hugging back without even thinking about it first.

"You both look cute doing that" we heard Hawk's voice nearly shout as Diane and I pulled away from the hug, turning our heads to look at the door. We saw Hawk and Meliodas standing there. Meliodas rubbing the back of his neck sighing. "Rude Hawk! Be rude again and I will roast you!" Diane snapped loudly as the pig moved fast to stand behind Meliodas. I noticed Diane wipe away the tears she built up as she stood up fully. "See you tomorrow Elizabeth" she spoke smiling before walking out the room. 

The smile. Unlike before it stayed. "You know, you look a lot more pretty with a smile on your face" Meliodas chuckled as I looked away from him fast as a reaction. I was confused on why. I have never done that before. "Don't tease her!" Hawk snapped as I heard his footsteps move to me fast. I moved my head back to see Hawk standing in front of me, glaring toward Meliodas. "Also no doing your old pervy ways on her!" Hawk also snapped loudly as I was confused slightly. Old pervy ways? Meliodas rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hawk we said we weren't going to bring up the past" Meliodas mumbled annoyed coming into the room fully. I was still confused but it wasn't long until my eyes were fully looking at Meliodas. "Who is putting my family in danger?" I asked as Hawk turned his head looking at me worried. I knew knowing this would cause troubling thoughts but I had to know. I had to know who I could trust. "We are not fully sure. Rebels of the Demon Clan had planted seeds in every clan causing trouble like this. Human Clan is the first to be hit. We believe some Holy Knights are the main cause" Meliodas answered.

I was able to see by his face it was the truth. I was worried but I nodded. "We will save them. Diane's promise is the same as my own. We will save them and then make them explain why they locked you away. Even if King Bartra is my friend this is out of order to do this to people again who are just different from everyone else" Meliodas spoke in a serious voice as he walked over to me, moving his head close to my own. My eyes widen slightly as Hawk was mumbling something under his breath.

"I promise no matter what happens, I will save the royal family of Liones, protect you and be there for you Elizabeth" he whispered as I was soon able to hear my heart beating from my chest. I was so confused. Something inside felt as if I heard this promise before. Something inside me felt as if I been by Meliodas's side before.
