~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

Both me and Estarossa were in shock but with Chastiefol's speed, Estarossa had no time to move or react. Chastiefol went flying right next to my head into Estarossa's chest sending him flying backwards, making him drop me off the side of the edge. I was soon falling downwards towards the battleground. "DIANE" I heard Merlin shout as I saw her fly into the air with Aldan making meteors fall from the sky down toward the enemy. I saw she was in pain. She was tired and nearly out of magic power. 

She couldn't hold this attack up. Diane caught me fast and put me on her shoulder. She told me to sit down and to hold on tight to the collar on her one-piece. I listened as she was in a fighting stance. All of the Sins were low on energy and power but yet they were still fighting on. They were still able to keep going somehow. "TARGET THE GIANT!" I heard a female voice shout from the enemy we were facing. Soon I noticed King get sent flying toward the ground badly hurt and bleeding. "KING!" Diane and I both shouted.

It wasn't long until we heard the sound of glass being shattered. This caught everyone's attention when we saw Meliodas and Zeldris flying out the window. The mark above Meliodas's right eye was gone. He was cutting through Zeldris's chest sending him flying to the ground. "We are to retreat" I heard Estarossa nearly shout as his party of friends were vanishing. By the blink of an eye, one by one left. Even Zeldris vanished. "I give you this warning Elizabeth. You are walking down a painful path" Estarossa soon nearly shouted before leaving.

A warning. His warning, it felt as if it could really be true. I soon was having a massive headache moving my hand there fast. "Elizabeth!" I heard Diane nearly shout worried as what I saw was confused. There was me, sitting in a garden filled with flowers, sitting in Estarossa's lap. It looked as if I was singing while he was just looking at me with a smile. Pure happiness in his eyes as he was doing so. The next thing I knew I was opening my eyes to see I was on the ground. I was sitting there with Diane and Merlin helping me up.

"Elizabeth, what happened?" Merlin asked as I noticed Ban was helping King and Meliodas over while Escanor was standing nearby holding his dear axe. Gowther was in front of me. My head was still hurting, I was now hearing a drumming noise. "I can remove the headache if you wish, Princess. It will though let me see what you saw a little moment ago" Gowther soon offered as Merlin ordered him to remove the pain and keep what he sees and hears to himself. Gowther was in some shock by her sudden action.

His eyes had joy as he agreed to do so. He whispered something under his breath before touching my forehead. Within seconds the headache was vanishing, the drumming leaving also. "Gowther vow right now to Elizabeth you won't say a word about what you saw from her mind" Merlin soon ordered getting all of the Sins, even Meliodas to look at her in shock and confusion. Did she know what I saw? I felt tired for some reason. Everyone else looked as if they had more energy than myself. 

I didn't do anything but cause a weakness to Meliodas and all of them. "I understand. Elizabeth, I vow that I shall not say a word unless I have your permission" Gowther soon spoke his eyes giving off a slight glow after he done so. I only nodded, slightly confused. That seemed to be normal. Gowther moved as everyone looked so badly hurt. "How about we rest here and then head straight for the castle of Liones" Meliodas soon spoke getting everyone but myself to reply with a loud 'eh' in shock. Gowther and Merlin also doing it.

I was confused on why once more. "Head straight to the castle? Wasn't we going slowly through the towns to lessen the army they have?" Escanor soon asked as I noticed that Meliodas, Escanor and Merlin were the ones mostly hurt. They were bleeding badly still to this second and yet they stood there still able to talk. They really were powerful. In a different way to the Demon Clan group that just attacked us. They had the power to never give up, the power to keep going for each other and the last the power to keep each other standing.

"We will all talk tomorrow, come on let's go rest and heal up with Merlin's magical herbs" Meliodas only spoke with a laugh afterwards. The others around us smiled agreeing with him as I just looked away at the ground. My hand near my face as I was thinking. I was worried about the fact their target was me. Merlin informed me they were targeting Meliodas but this whole attack was to get me. They wanted me to hurt him. I didn't want to hurt him. I didn't want to be the weapon they used to hurt everyone here.

"Hey" I heard Meliodas's voice in front of me as I looked up to see him smiling at me. Everyone else was helping Hawk's mother settle down to lower the tavern to normal ground height. "What's wrong?" He asked sitting down in front of me, keeping his smile as I looked at my hand. The newest image or memory made me question my own heart or sense but yet I knew what my body and heart wanted at that moment. It wanted to be by Meliodas's side. To help him in any way I could. To be with him again.

"They are going to use me to hurt you" I whispered the honest answer while I looked at him. He was slightly shocked but a bigger smile than before soon grew on his face. He moved closer to me moving some of my hair behind my ear. His head moving closer to mine afterwards. "I really am glad, you still care as much as I do" he only whispered as my heart was racing once more. I wasn't used to all this. I had only one single memory of him and me together. I was happy. I was happy and felt safe just like how I feel now.

"I-I want more memories back" I only whispered with a stutter at first as I was feeling my face getting all flushed. Meliodas had shock and hope in his eyes hearing my words. "It was on a single small moment but...I can't help but want more" I then whispered playing with a bit of my hair as Meliodas put his forehead on mine. I was looking right into his eyes as I felt his hand go to my cheek. "Then, we will get them back no matter what" he whispered as I only smiled. I really was happy but the warning Estarossa gave.

That along with the memory, along with what he tried doing to Meliodas.....

I had a feeling something was coming and he didn't want me near it.
