I awoke feeling hot, the sounds of Ava's screams is what woke me up. Sitting up I looked over at Ava flailing and screaming frantically.

Ava "No No No!!" she rolled back and forth breathing heavily.

"Ava its alright, I'm here." placing my hand on her arm trying to comfort Ava.

Ava "No you cant take her from me!! Leave her be!!" she yelled and objects in her room began to lift and move on there own will.

"Ava wake up its a dream." I told her placing my hand on her warm wet forehead. Damn she has a fever I said to myself. I need to wake her up but touching her and talking wasn't doing shit that was for sure.

Ava "Don't worry ill get you out of there. Ill save you. I'm sorry!!" she cried with tears pooling down her flushed warm cheeks. It was very clear that what ever she was dreaming about was upsetting her greatly.

I made my way to the bathroom flipping the switch to turn the lights on. Opening the cabinet above the toilet to get two towels out and set them on counter. Pulling back the shower curtain and turned the cold water on and began to fill the tub. Coming back into the bedroom I saw to my surprise my sister Nora looking very concerned at Ava. I was confused as to why she was there since I didn't call or texted her but again at the same time I didn't care.

"I've tried several ways of waking her up but nothing worked. She has a real bad fever I just drew her a cold bath. Which I think will help her." I looked over at Nora.

Nora placed her hand on Ava's forehead but quickly removed her hand wincing in pain. "Raven she isn't just running some fever. She is boiling hot ill go get some ice you put her in the tub." she rushed out the room in a hurry with a very concerned look on her face.

I picked up Ava quickly cradling her to me. Painfully I rushed to her bathroom that was attached to the room and placed her in the bath full of cold water. Damn did that hurt she burned me so bad I had scorch marks and burn on my arms. Luckily it wasn't too bad really because I healed fairly quickly. Turning the water off a went to grab a rag when Nora came in with the ice.

"That was fast" I said in surprise.

Nora "Well I wasn't going to take to long." she poured the ice into the tub gradually.

"Do you think she will be ok?" I asked as I got the rag cold and placed it on Ava's flushed forehead.

Nora "I think she will, its just weird though. I hope we figure out what is wrong with her. Its also strange she is able to sleep through a ice bath" she said as she sat on the floor her face full of concern.

"Derek thinks her mom is missing and so do I. I don't know if he ever got a hold of her brother Ren or not. I think we need to focus on Ava first and then if it turns out Amy is missing we deal with that after Ava's better."

Nora "Sounds like a good plan brother but I'm leave you with Ava for now. I've got a plan for right now which is to multitask and get shit done."

"How so?" I asked unconvinced

Nora "Your going to stay here and I'm going to gather information on Amy and try to figure out whats going on with Ava. But you first I'm going to find a witch or someone to help Ava of course."

"That sounds cool and all but you forgot something." I said standing and crossing my arms.

Nora "An whats that brother." she said with a proud smirk on her face.

"Nora I cant take Ava out of the tub dry her off and change her clothes that would make me a pervert."

Nora "Not if your her boyfriend" she laughed.

"Nora we both know I'm not her boyfriend either. So I'm leave the room go down stairs and text Derek. Mean while you can dry her off and dress her then let me know when shes decent right?"

Nora "I really don't want to be that friend that saw Ava naked kinda thing. But I guess for Ava ill do it. After I'm done I'm head out though."

"That's fine." I said before leaving the room and heading down stairs. I sat down at the foot of the stairs a pulled out my cell phone and sent a message to Derek.

Me: Any leads or new information yet?

I got no response from him but I did get a text from Nora.

Nora: Done

That was fast I said to myself as I climbed the stairs back up. Down the hall I went into Ava's room opening her door. Ava was tucked in her queen sized bed. Nora came out of the bathroom and approached me looking even more concerned.

Nora "She still passed out and seems to be sleeping ok. But when I went to unplug the tub I noticed something strange."

"What do you mean?"

Nora "Well the bath water wasn't gray or clear. The water had a blackish tent to it and that's not the only strange thing. I dried her hair and after brushing it out I realized its not auburn anymore its black."

"What do you think would cause her hair change colors." I asked confused.

Nora "I don't know Raven maybe she is going through puberty like honestly I don't know." she said sarcastically.

"Ill keep a eye on her Nora you just go find someone that can help us figure this out." I said looking over at Ava before Nora spoke again.

Nora "I'm figure it out some how so Ava gets to feeling better. Don't worry she will wake up eventually. She's just a strong girl who was a little to over whelmed last night. Just remember what happened wasn't anyone's fault and that we can fix this." she said as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

"I know sis." I hugged my twin sister tight before she left.

After Nora had left I shut the door behind me. It was back to just me and Ava now. I walked over to Ava's side of the bed where she was sleeping and petted her hair. When suddenly Ava grabbed my wrist tightly and shouted.
Ava "Raven is that you?! I cant see a thing!" she said frighten and scared as she moved her arms around frantically.

I looked at her face and met her gaze I was shocked. I placed my hand on her cheek and caressed it. Looking into her eyes all I saw was pools of cloudy gray.

"I'm here Ava, ill always be here" I said with a smile.

Ava "Yeah well that's good cause at the moment I'm a very blind girl who could use all the help she can get. Since assume my brother hasn't checked up on me yet and my mother is missing. I guess you can say I'm a very lucky girl." she said sarcastically with frustration.

That's when Ava's cell phone went off and her eyes widened.

Ava "Raven answer it and put it on speaker phone." she told me.

So I answered her phone call she was receiving from Ren.

Ren "Sorry sis I just now got everyone's messages my phone was turned off so I could sleep. I plan on checking on you sometime today after I speak with Derek and the others. How are you??" he asked concerned.

Ava "Im fine right now just a little blind at the moment but Raven is taking good care of me." she smiled.

Ren "That good that your ok you always act blind. Wait your blind since when? But wait like how blind are we talking? Like color blind.. Or blind blind???"

Ava "What the hell Ren which one do you think??!!" she pinched her nose angrily asked.

Ren "So you cant see period?"

Ava "Yeah that kind of blind. Any other dumb questions?" she asked with a sigh.

Ren "No not really make sure to take care of my sister Raven she cant see shes blind. And Ava you get some sleep and rest those eyes." he said laughing.

Ava hung up on Ren before I could even tell him not to worry. She looked kinda of mad. I placed her cell phone on her night stand and tucked her in.

"You need to get some more rest Ava so go to sleep."

Ava "I refuse to go to sleep till you come get in bed with me."

"Oh how forward of you" I said laughing.

Ava "Not like that!! I just like it when you cuddle me is all ok" she struggled to say the last part without blushing.

Falling asleep with Ava in my arms had to be one of the best feelings. She had her head laying on my chest her one arm wrapped over my waist. I was laying on my back with my arms around her waist. Ava was blissfully asleep dreaming peacefully for my sake I hoped. I wasn't really up for game of how many times Ava could accidently hit me in the face. Closing my eyes my last thought was a question for myself how was I going to make her mine and how she did she feel about me? Questions that I figured would wait another day as I fell asleep.
