Her lips were blue and cracked her face was a little bruised. Her face was nicely framed and soft. She had nice big long lashes and pretty auburn hair. She seemed to be completely out of it and also cold. She began to shiver in my arms and stir. I held her close to my chest and stretched my wing out of my back. Gently arching them I pushed off of the ground and began to take off. As I was flying over the forest beneath me I looked to the stars for answers.

What the hell brought her into the forest on a night like this I couldn't help but think. She began to stir in my arms again this time half paying attention I almost dropped her. Got damn woman must be a toss and turner. We arrived at my house a old gray victorian house out of town. It was a five bedroom three bath house with a wrap around porch. This house had been in my family for generations. I was hoping not to run into my mother tonight other wise I'd probably be in deep shit. Landing my feet firmly on the ground in front of the porch I glanced around at the windows. Seemed to be that she was asleep so I assumed it was safe. Rolling my shoulders I relaxed and put away my wings. With the mystery woman still cold and shivering in my arms I opened the front door praying not to wake up mother. Sighing in relief I closed the door behind me and began to carry her up the stairs into my room. My room for once was relatively clean for a guys room. It was also a good size room with a attach bathroom and a king sized bed. Pulling the covers back I laid her down in my bed. I made sure to wipe her face clean before I showered and changed.

After doing these things I got on the other side of the bed and fell asleep for a little while. And of course the girl didn't allow me to fall asleep that easy. She stirred a lot and woke me up by crying out my name in her sleep. I assumed she must of been experiencing some sort of nightmare due to the stuff that went down in the forest. So I pull her to me with her facing me and I wrapped my arms around her waist. I began to rub her lower back in circles and she soon relaxed. With me being cuddled up so close to her it was kind of hard not to look at her beautiful face. And that's how I fell asleep that night with her curled up to me close and with me gazing at her beautiful face.
