"Hey, Delanie."
I glanced up at the raven haired boy without interest. Fiona didn't take this class with me, so I sat alone in the back of the class, my only company being a paper and a pencil. Then, of course, some random guy just had to bother me. What, did he want to taunt me as well, to make fun of the poor girl who lost her memory?
Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted my memory back anymore.
The boy sat in the seat next to me. He had baby blue eyes, which made him looker younger and more innocent than he probably was. He had a blazing red jacket wrapped around himself, and I faintly noticed freckles dotting his nose. He seemed like the type to be popular, with pretty good looks. Yet, he looked humble, if that was even possible.
"Its- I'm, um... I knew you."
My eyes widened. "You did?"
"My name is Dav and-"
"Dav," I tested the name on my tongue. "I've read about you, in De- my old diary."
He seemed shocked. "Really?"
"Really."
"I'm sorry I haven't talked to you before now. You don't deserve this. You were such an amazing person, you never deserved any of this."
His words caused me to smile, but I still felt a little wary. But, behind his kind words, I could see pain, sorrow, and suffering in his eyes. He was another person suffering because of Angie.
So, I stuck out my hand, deciding to take a leap of faith. "We're going to put a stop to the bullying in this school."
He firmly gripped my hand and shook it, taking me by surprise. By the hard look in his eyes, I could tell he took this seriously. "You bet we are."
