Next Morning

I groan as I roll over to turn off the stupid alarm so that I can go back to sleep.

"Wake up sleepy head." 

"Fuck off." I mutter, "Only if you help." Is the reply. I look up and nearly fell out of bed "What are you doing here?!" I yell at my boyfriend who is smiling like a fool. "Because I stayed the night." he answers "Breakfast is ready."

I slowly get up and make my way to the kitchen. "What is it?" I yawns.

"Waffles." he replies, figuring that I was referring to breakfast, as he finds the plates and a couple forks.

"Did you make son coffee?"

"Yup!" his feathers set the table as we sit beside each other, I drink my coffee.

"Thank you." I say before digging in.

We eat in almost silence, I am not normally not one to talk when I am eating. "Any plans today?" Kei asks, "Not getting killed or caught. I reply, it's true.

I think I might have a meeting with Toga or something involving the VAS. 

"Too bad I have midnight patrol." my boyfriend sighs. "The VAS might be doing something tonight." I say off handedly.

"I hope our paths cross." he smiles cheerfully. "And risk you getting hurt? I don't think so." I scoff.

"But Dabi! I want to see you."

"I'm sorry Hawks, but I don't want you to get hurt." even if you're ranked third.

"So you are the leader of the Squad." I now fully process what he had said before "Shit." I hit my head on the table.

"I can see why you didn't want me to know." he adds before placing a kiss on the back of my head "Don't worry, I'm not going to tell."

"That's not what I am fucking worried about Keigo." I say before adding softly "I don't want you getting hurt because of me of me." 

"I know you wouldn't hurt me Toya." he reassures me. "Maybe not me me, but Twice's doubles might."

Our love is like that of Romeo and Juliet, both of us on different sides and forced to hide our love.

I hope our story doesn't end like theirs did...
