I

The crowds roared their approval as Fairytail came first in the Grand Magic Games! It was something to be proudly awarded, presented!
The guild was showing their hooked audience their love, showing how proud they were of their guild.

Somebody stood to the far corner, her chocolate brown eyes that could melt a man's heart with a single blink, was filled with an unknown emotion.
Her silky long hair, usually tied up, was down, crawling to her feet.
Her alabaster skin seemed to shine against the pale moon as she the silver mistress, shined her will upon her.

Lucy Heartfilia.

A lovely wizard. Standing off to the side as she watched her guild celebrate.
Her mark felt foreign. She watched as her ultimate crush wrap his muscular arms around a snow white girl.
The woman had baby blue eyes and hair as if woven from spider silk.

Lisanna Strauss.

Lisanna turned her head a bit and smiled at Lucy, mouthing to the woman to come join in the festivities! Yet the blonde refused.
Bowing her head Lucy just put one leg against the wall, her body felt strangely heavy, as if she picked something up that refused to let go.

--

The bright rays of the sun woke her up, opening her chocolate brown eyes. Lucy turned to her side, facing her alarm clock with a blank face.

It had been a few months after the whole tournament, the Edolas Ark and Lucy was just exhausted.
She had taken a few days away from the guild so she could work on her novel.
Yet no spark of interest hit her over her few days of being out of commission.
Looking outside Lucy could see the townspeople opening up their shops, some were walking their dogs or kids to school.

Getting up with slow movements, the woman started to brush her long locks of hair. Placing on black glasses and pulling a dark blue sweater on. She laced up her boots and was on her way out to head to her guild.
Her keys dangled on her hip, greeting people with a small wave she headed to the large doors of the guild.

It was strangely quiet, maybe mystogan came?
Opening the doors she could see everyone accounted for. A sweet scent lingered in the air as she tilted her head.
Blocking her nose she went to Mira Strauss who had her head down, absently cleaning a bar glass.

"Mira-chan?" Lucy's soft velvety voice spoke out to the white haired woman.

"Lu-cy~" Mira echoed softly

"M-Mira are you okay?" Bending down Lucy peered at Mira's hunched form.

"You...."

"Mira...?"

The smell suddenly vanished and the noise slowly returned.
Mira's eyes twitched as if awoken from a deep sleep.
"Oh! Lucy when did you get here?" Mira's over powering smile blinded the blonde.

"I just got here a few minutes ago. Are you okay Mira?" Lucy tilted her head.

Immediately Mira gave a wide eyed smile, her pearly teeth showed as she answered "oh yes everything is fine!"

"Okay...? Could I have a latte with a few bits of coffee to the side?"

"Of course!"

As Mira went to the kitchen to make Lucy's order, The curvy blonde could see in the corner of her eye.
Lisanna and Natsu at a table whispering.
Erza and Gray had come to join the two.
All of them were joking and laughing making the Celestial spirit user feel a bit left out.

The aroma of fresh coffee entered her nose as she turned her head to see the coffee get placed gently on the table in front of her.

"Thank you Mira! This looks amazing~" Lucy chirped as she sipped on its bittersweet liquid.

"Anything for you Lucy~ Oh it looks like Natsu coming."

Turning around to meet Natsu, Lucy could feel the air shift with a hot blazing touch to it.
Whipping her head to the side she watched as a flaming hand smashed into the table.

"N-Natsu?" Lucy's voice quivered slightly.

"Tch.... weak ass."

"W-what?! How dare you Natsu!"

"Sorry "princess" but you aren't good enough to be in our team!" Natsu shrewdly responded.
His eyes were flaming with rage as he crossed his arms.

Lucy couldn't believe what she was hearing, did she hear it wrong?

"Excuse me? You're kicking me out of the team?"

"Yeah we are! All you do is scream and complain on missions! You are useless!"

"What the- what has gotten into you?"

Growling Natsu muttered darkly "Nothing! You're the problem! The burden of the guild."
Sighing as he gave her a form.
"Sign this so you can leave the team."

Snatching the paper Lucy read the terms and conditions.
"Fine.... if you really want me to leave." She muttered darkly.
Grabbing her quill she signed the paper shoving it back to him.
She felt like tears were about to explode out of her body, clawing down her face in a violent torrent.

Abruptly standing up she stormed to the second floor where the Thunder Tribe were chatting.
Walking past Laxus who just stared at her, his eyebrow arching up as she watched her vanish in one of the training rooms.

--

In the magenta coloured room, dummies lay scattered about, wooden swords dull and broken as Lucy stormed in.
"God FUCKING DAMN HIM!!!!" Lucy screeched as she whipped out her Virgin key.

No chanting needed as Virgo slammed down to the ground, her chains clattered to the floor with a thump as she bowed.
"Hime-sama?"

"Hey Virgo.... may you please clear out my apartment? I'll be going to the celestial palace soon."

"Of course Hime. But what of the guild?"

"I have a feeling I won't be wanted here but! I will stay and see how it goes." Lucy muttered darkly as she cracked her knuckles.

Bowing Virgo vanished within a flash.

--

3 hours later

--

Lucy was still sipping her now cold coffee at a lone table on the second floor when she was covered in a shadow.
Looking up she could see the large form of Laxus the Lightning dragon slayer.

"Hello Laxus-San what are you doing?"

"Hi pipsqueak. Why are you sitting alone?" He asked in a deep voice.

"Just.... thinking about a few things." She answered with a quiet voice.

"About?"

"Natsu and his team..."

"What happened?"

"He kicked me out." Lucy sighed with a pissed off look plastered on her heart shaped face.

Laxus just sighed as he pulled up a chair, placing an elbow on the table he ruffled her hair.
Watching as she squirmed his eyes softened as he chuckled. He was fond of her, treating her as if a little sister had suddenly appeared in his life. In a way he adored Lucy because of how kind she was.
So seeing her down in the dumps because of Natsu made him pissed off.
"Shall I teach him a lesson?" Laxus asked softly watching as she shook her head.

"No that won't do much but aggravate him, in other words I don't want you to do that because he'll just be more prissy. I'm down for doing solo missions." Lucy explained quietly, her chocolate eyes held a hint of sparkling gild which quickly faded.
It also melted into a deep amber as she stared at the wall.
"I'll be taking a few solo missions for the money but maybe I can become that S-class master you are?" Lucy chirped as she laid her delicate hand on Laxus's bug rough ones.

"Of course you can just train harder until you reach your dream. What is your dream Lucy?"

"Well it used to be just going on adventures with the famous, powerful guild of Fairytail! But now, I want yo become the strongest Wizard second yo Zeref himself."
Lucy gave him a sly grin.
"I'll reach that dream one day."

"I hope you do..... I really believe in you Lucy." Laxus chuckled as he got up, ruffled her hair and left with a smile.

Lucy on the other hand had her pale hands wrapped around her mug.
The empty cup suddenly filled up with coffee as she stared at her bright amber eyes.
The Iris looking like a broken gear as she sighed, making her eyes turn brown again.
"I might have to take it out...." she murmured as she closed her eyes just sipping on the now burning hot liquid as it slithered down her throat, entering the dark cavern of her stomach.
