Natsu's POV

I woke up that day some what ready for work. That chick up there was something else. She was rude and she doesn't even know who I am. I'll show her!

"No body messes with Dragneel!!"

"Quit day dreaming and get your butt to work!! And try to not flirt with your coworker" Zeref called to me.

"Oi! can it! I ain't flirting with that buzz kill" I Shouted before running into the bathroom.

"Ouff!"

I busted my ass on the wet floor. "Damn it Zeref, put a towel down when you shower!" I rubbed my butt where it hurt then jumped in the tub. After my shower I put some clothes on and wrapped my scarf around my neck. I stuffed some toast in my mouth before walking out the door.

It's so early there's only a few people out and about. But sure enough that book stores open. "Goodmorning" I walked in to see a tinier blonde sitting at the counter. "Why hello! You must Natsu!" She said in a very cheery voice. "Um yea, who are you?"

She gasped and covered her mouth. "Oh my! I'm so sorry I forgot to introduce my self. I'm Mavis the owner" I stitched my eyebrows together, how is little girl the owner. "I know I'm small but trust me I'm way old then you would ever guess" she winked.

Honestly what even.

"Lucy will be down in a bit. She has to freshen up in a way"' I shrugged. "So uh what am I suppose to do?" "Oh silly me. Well not very hard. Some people buy books when they come in, those books are in this section." She motioned to the area that says 'for sale' "then other books people will return or check out. You'll have to stack the shelfs. Since you are tall. And if someone ask about a certain topic just direct them to Lucy. She's good with all that information."

I nodded and started to look around when I heard footsteps. "Urg Mavis keep it down I didn't eat much I not feeling wel-" she stopped when she made eye contact with me.

The heat rushed to my cheeks when I saw her standing in just a baggy tshirt. "Kya!!!" She screamed before darting back up the stairs. "Oh yea, Lucy lives upstairs. So don't let costumers wonder up there and if I was you I wouldn't go either. But I'll be back I have to go check on Lucy" I nodded.

I started to walked around when I heard yelling from upstairs. "No!!" "Please Lucy" "I can't do it Mavis. I'm running low ." I heard muffled sobbing then foot steps.

"Sorry , Lucy won't be joining us today."

Mavis told me as she walked down the stairs. After that she opened the store up.

It was very quiet all day, a few people would come in every now and then. Around 5ish I heard someone coming down from upstairs. It was Lucy. She wore a hoodie and looked really pale.

"Hey Lucy you feel okay?" She sent daggers my way before storming out of the store. "Okay then.." I mumble before stacking some books back on the shelves. "Thanks for the help today Natsu, you can ago ahead and go home."

"Alright"

I started to walk off but Mavis called out to me again. "Here's a key so you can get in tomorrow. I don't typically come in due to other meeting and mangers stuff" I took the key from her and started to make my way home.

I decided to go through the park. I looked up to see the sun going down and a spine chilling breeze blew my way. I shivered and picked up my pace. What freaked me out even more was the painful groaning noises ahead of me.

I brought my self to a complete stop and looked around. Debating whether I should run or try and help them. I was about to just leave when I saw a glimpse of blonde collapse by a near by tree.

"Lucy? Is that you?"

I slowly crept over near were she fell. Sure enough it was her. I leaned down a pressed my hand to her head. To my surprise her body was freezing. "Oi Lucy! Wake up" I shook her slightly. She groaned then rolled over.

"Oh come on man"
I whined as tucked my arms under her body and picked her up. "Shit , do I take her home or to my house.. Zerefs well he's Zeref." I shrugged and decided to take her to my house. I'm positive we have stuff help when you feel ill.

"Hey Zeref I need some help" I called out as I walked in the doors. Just as I called it when he came around the corner a smirk appeared on his face. "One day at work and you're already bringing her home. Tsk tsk Natsu" I sent him daggers.

"Just help me"

I struggled to lay her properly on the couch. "Help, you ass" he chuckled then came over. "Alright alright, why the hell is she so cold! Is she dead or something" "No look she's still breathing" "Hold on ill go get some blankets and a heating pad" he told me before walking off.

I decided to go get a warm bowl of water and wipe down her forehead. After we done bundled her all up Zeref said he was going to bed and to take care of her. So here I am on the couch watching tv with a sick person sleeping one couch over.

*grr*

I looked down at my stomach. "You're right lets eat" I decided to go light and make a small spaghetti for one. I opened up a can of tomato juice and sat it on the counter while I went to go get some noddles and meat.

"This will have to do"

I heard a feminine voice say. I stepped back into the kitchen to see Lucy chugging the tomato juice. "What the hell?" I gap, never seen someone chug tomato juice. When she heard my voice she stopped drinking, her eyes widened then dropped the can.

"Hey are you alri-" what the hell is with that girl she just took off running, and made a mess in my house!!

My morning routine is all jacked up cause of this job. Waking up at the crack of dawn is so not me. But I do have to wonder if Lucys okay. She hasn't been into work almost two weeks. And I haven't seen her since that night she drunk the tomato juice.

She sure is strange.

I shrugged and continued to get ready. When I came into the kitchen Zeref was already up and about. "Good morning lil  bro!" I sweatdropped then made a poptart. "What's with the names 'big bro'" I snorted. "Awe I miss when you were all little and would hug me and play hide and seek!" He whined.

"Look Zeref, I get you were my fatherly ish figure growing up, but that just it. I'm grown up. Soon enough I'll be moved out and on my own" I stated proudly. The next thing I knew Zeref had tackled me in a hug. "No no no don't leave Natsu!! I'd be so lonely!!"

"Then get a girlfriend you freak!!" I yelled struggled to get out of his grasp. Once I was finally free I grabbed my poptart and left. "Freak" I muttered as I opened the front door. "Bye psychotic brother of mine!" I called out before slamming the door shut. God that guy is such a weirdo.

Any way time for work. I unlocked the front door and started turning on the lights and starting up the computers. One of the nice things about the job, I play on the computers all day long. I looked towards the stairs. I wonder is Lucys okay.

Scratch that.. I just her a loud thud come from up stairs. "Oi Lucy you alright!?" I heard her groan and took off up the stairs. I was actually quite surprised by the way her room looked. There dried up looking bags all over the floor, including a passed out Lucy.

"Lucy Lucy!?"

Damn the chick. I picked her up and laid her down in her bed. What the hell wrong with this girl. I looked around to see if she had anything but no. Just those empty bags in the ground. I walked over and picked one up.

"What the hell.." It was a blood bag. Is she like secretly dying and needs blood bags or something? I walked over to her and pressed my ear to her chest. Try my hardest to not look at her big boobs omg. I heard a faint heartbeat, that's good.

Just as I was about to pulled I felt something pull me down. I realized it was Lucys arms. She had wrapped them around me. "Oi Lucy you feeling better?" I questioned but received no answer. I felt her sit up and burry her face in my neck.

Damn all the hormones causing my face to flush up. I felt something wet on my neck, wait is she crying!? Being a guy I tried to comfort her by caressing her hair. "Shh it's okay" her muffled cries got softer. "Alright, you feelin okay" she said nothing but I felt her move.

Something was against my neck, was it her lips! Why is she kissing my neck!? I could feel her teeth brush against my skin. This by far is the weirdest thing a chick has done to me. I was about to say something when this horrible yet weirdly enjoyable pain rose in my neck.

Is she biting me? Wow her teeth are sharp. For a moment my eyes closed as I sat back but when my heart rate increased. I flashed my eyes open. Holy shit shes legit biting me! Panic ran through my head but I didn't move.

Instead i watched as the room got fuzzy and started spinning.

Zeref is.. isthat you?

Lucy's POV

I was drifting along with my dream. I sank m fangs into the yummy strawberry cake. It was great till it starting tasting like blood.

My eyes shot open and I found my fangs in someone's neck. My arms were wrapped around them. I pull away quickly and the person collapsed on my lap. That's when I saw his pink spiky hair.

"Oh my god Lucy what did you just do!" I yelled at my self.

I grabbed fists full of my own hair and started panicking. "I just ate off a human being! I've been clean 85 fucking years and for what!!!" I continued to yell at my self. For a moment i paused.

"But I feel so revived and it was so warm and tasted so - look at me!!" I sobbed. I saw his chest raising and falling, thank god he's just asleep. I leaned down and licked the wound I made then kissed the spot. The area immediately healed it's self and looked nothing more than a mosquito bite.

When I pulled away I looked at his face. I rested my head beside his looking at him. He seems so at peace with himself. I unconsciously smiled at his face. He was pretty cute. I ran my fingers through his surprising soft hair.

After sitting that way for a moment I blinked then jumped.

"What on earth am I doing!" I slowly trudged his body down the stairs and prompt him up. "Okay he fall asleep while working perfect, okay. Maybe I'll actually work today so take away suspensions. Yeah" I started booking some books away when I heard him move.

"Arg what happened?" Almost immediately he grabbed at his neck then pulled out his phone looking . "A bug bite, of course the one day I don't wear my muffler." I continued to stack books but keep an eye on him. "Lucy? That you?" I stepped out and smiled.

"Uh yea" "Are you feeling better? You've been out for almost two weeks." I stretched the back of my head. "Yea just a the flu and couldn't seem to get ride of it" I lied, vampires doesn't catch colds.

"Question, did you bite me"

I stopped dead in my tracks. "Aha that's funny, why on earth would I bite you?" Honestly don't even know, I have control over my self. "I don't know, must have been some strange ass dream. I was like dead set that you were secretly dying or something. You had blood bags all over your room."

"Weird" oh my god he remembers everything. I'm just going to keep it up as a dream. "Well we can't help what we dream about" he flash a really goofy but cute smile at me. "Though it's strange on how I know what your room looks like" he titled his head to the side exposing his neck.

"Hm oh well"

I eyes flashed red for a moment and my fangs popped out while I'll was biting my lips, causing them to bleed. "Lucy honestly you should bite you lips.. One its seductive.. Two you made you self bleed." Natsu told me before handing me napkins.

I wanted say it's his fault, but I mean I can't just be like flaunting off you neck is my reason. I wiped my mouth although it healed almost immediately.

"So what's up? "

I titled my head and looked at him. "This book going on this shelf." I told him as I climbed on of the shelfs attempting to book it up. "Here just let me do it"  I heard Natsu below me trying to take the book. "I've got it" I growled. I heard a snap and my foot go out from under me.

"Kya!!" I yelped bracing for impact.

"Kya huh?" I looked to see Natsu smirking and me in his arms. I struggled to get out of his grip. And for a vampire it shouldn't be hard but this guy is so damn strong what even.

"Your leg is bleeding let me bandage it for you" I finally pulled away. "I'm fine I'll do it" he grabbed my arm and pulled me back down. I mentally panicked if he wraps my leg he'll see it heal. "Look just let me help you please."

"Natsu you've already helped me enough honestly" But instead of listening he just sat on me and grabbed my leg. "Alright see now the bleeding stopped and you won't get infection" as he stood up and get him in the ass.

"Ow! Oi what was that for?" I slowly got up and pouted. "You should go and sit on people you barely know" I stumped off. "Well I feel like I've know you for a while now Luce"

I stop and turned towards him. "What did you just call me?" He blushed a bit aww. "Oh I gave you a nickname Luce .." Now I found my self blushing. "No ones ever gave me a nickname before" I play with my hair in between my fingers.

"Well that just means I'm better than everyone else." He smiled again. Damn you pinky making my heart go a flutter.

At the end of the night Natsu finally went home and Mavis showed up. "Maaaavis" I growled in a deep voice. "Oh Lucy!! You're finally feeling well I see" I walked and shook her around by her shirt. "Ahh Lucy what's wrong!?" She squealed.

"Mavis I told you I couldn't handle it. I ran out of blood and the dealer refused to give me more! I .. I ended up attacking Natsu" her eyes widened. "You didn't k-kill him did you?" I shook my head.

"No, I came out of my chance. But the weirdo seemed completely fine! He wasn't passed out for long and didn't seemed weakened one bit." She tapped her finger on her chin. "Well maybe it just means he's meant to be your dinner. Or maybe your soulmate" her eyes lit up as she spoke.

"Mavis he's human he can't be my soulmate and he can't be my dinner. But now it's gonna be really hard to resist him. His blood runs through my body. I crave him"

Just talking about him caused my eyes to changed to red and my fangs to pop out. "Look at this! Just thinking about him has me all hungry" I whined.

"Oh Lucy, having such a strong lust towards someone and their blood you're gonna have some strange dreams. They're in your system." I looked at her confused. "What do you mean I drink blood from people all the time."

"Yes but this was directly from them, and you're always around them. You know what they look like, how they act, the way he smells. Your body craves everything from him. Oh and your desires or "dreams" may or may not be connected" She wiggled her eyebrows at me. "Ah shut up Mavis!! That's so not gonna happen!"

"Natsu.." I whispered as he pinned me to the wall. "Hush those pretty lips, no let me do that for you" he husky voice whispered in my ear. He closed the gap between us. It was the sweetest most passionate kiss ever. I slowly cupped my hands to his face pulling him deeper into the kiss. His warm hands ran up my legs then under my shirt. Leaving me in my shorts and bra. "Luce" his voice rang through my head.

"Lucy. Luce!!" I shot up from my bed covered in sweat. I heard Natsu's voice ringing from down stairs. My face flushed red recalling the dream I was having. I crave his blood one moment then I crave his touch.

"This is bull shit"

"knock knock" I roll my eyes over to see Natsu standing in my door way.

"I hate you" 

But on the inside my hormones are screaming get'em girl!!! Curse being changed at 18!!! "Goodmorning to you too." I scuffed and opened up my fridge. "Why are you up stairs, and here so earlier?"

He went and made him self comfy on my bed. " Had a really umm intense dream.. Could really fall back asleep" I poorer my blood bag into a mug in the fridge the closed it. "Still doesn't explain why you came up here to mess with me"

"Well that's the thing.. You were in my dream" I nearly spit out the blood in my mouth. "Oh really?" He nodded. "What was I doing in your dream?" He faced flushed red. "S-stuff" oh my god

Mavis said our dreams are connected.. Does that mean he had the same dream as me but from his point of view!?!?! "Kya you perv!!" I ended up yelling aloud. "I didn't say anything!! How can you assume my dream was Pervy!?!"

I stomped my feet in place. "Get out before I hurt you!!!" I whined and growled all at once. "I was right you are a buzz kill" My nostrils flared up, "who you calling buzz kill!! I'm no buzz kill!!" He snorted at me the continued to walk down the stairs. "If you're no buzz kill get dressed and coming have Waffle House with me."

"Fine!" I yelled and started getting ready.

Lucy what on earth are you doing?
