Back at Black Rose...

Lior walked through the door of the big room where Lilith's "throne" sat.

"Lior, I see you've returned." Lilith states.

"With good news, I hope?" She continues.

"Sadly, no. M'lady, it is with deepest regret I must inform you that Lucy does not want to return home."

Lilith seems unfazed.

She sighs.

"Very well. I'd been expecting this..."

There's a pause in her speech.

"No matter. We'll simply get rid of those fairies and then she'll realize where she's supposed to be."

"But of course." Lior replies.

Lilith looks down on him.

"You may leave now. I have work to do."

As her hard gaze gives off an uneasy feeling, Lior makes his way out of the room.

Deep down, a part of him felt like everything they were doing was wrong, but that part of him had been buried away by Lilith.

It was as if Lior forgot what compassion was.

Meanwhile, Lilith was planning her attack.

She knew Black Rose had many forces that could destroy that Fairy Tail guild instantaneously, but that was not in fact what she wanted.

"Lucy will watch those fairies slowly perish until she loses all feeling for them. She will learn her loyalty to Black Rose, and all will be well..."

Fairy Tail would learn that roses have thorns.
