Morning...
Lucy's POV
Magic was coursing through my veins.
I could feel it, waiting to be let out.
The power of a Celestial Dragon was surely not one I could contain forever.
In the meantime, I had to learn to control it.
I'd been kept up in the bathroom all night, looking at the beautiful magic.
It was like a thousand stars.
The light it gave off shone on my face brightly in the dark bathroom.
A banging on the door caused me to snap out of it.
The others had waken up.
"Lucy! Hurry up!" Natsu shouts from the other side of the door.
I open the door, revealing my tired state.
I hadn't rested well in the first place, and then I proceeded not to go back to sleep.
"Natsu, take it easy." Erza suggests.
She, along with Gray, gives me a concerned look.
They see the bags under my eyes.
"Lucy, did you not go back to sleep?" Gray asks me.
I nod.
Natsu looks between the three of us curiously.
"What'd I miss?"
"Aye..." Happy adds.
I immediately ignore the question.
"I'll get dressed." I say, walking over to my things.
I'd be lying if I said last night didn't bother me.
I pull out the outfit I'd tried to wear yesterday.
Her image still haunts my mind.
"You guys can change first. I'll wait."
I can't really think much of anything right now.
Seventy-five percent of my mind is on her.
Twenty-four percent is on my newfound magic.
The other one percent is on what I'm going to do with everyone today.
My aunt's appearance is burned into my brain.
Her dark hair...
Her menacing eyes...
Her evil smirk...
Those details that have haunted me since that day are stuck in my mind.
"Lucy, are you okay to go out today? We could stay here and watch a movie."
I appreciated the offer.
A movie actually sounded really nice, but I didn't want them to put aside their entire day for me.
"I-I'm good."
I sit on my bed, my clothes in my lap.
Erza comes and takes a seat next to me.
"What's going on, Lucy? Something's bothering you, but it seems like you're trying to hide it."
I feel so guilty.
She hit it right on the mark.
I don't say anything, but my guilt shows right through my face.
"Let's stay here today. If something is bothering you, it might be best not to go out." Gray says.
I watch as they all kickback.
This is the opposite of what I wanted.
"Don't stay here because of me, please."
They look at me.
"Lucy, why are you so persistent with being alone?" Erza asks.
"Are you hiding a stash of fish you don't want to share?!" Happy asks.
I look at them.
"I just... don't want to hold you back because of my personal problems."
They smile in unison.
"Lucy, as long as you're a part of the Fairy Tail family, we'll support you."
