Gray's POV

I walk into the bar downstairs, which was like a temporary guild hall.

"Gray-sama!" A voice yells.

I feel a pair of arms wrap around me from behind.

"J-Juvia! Hey!" I call out, struggling.

Her grip was surprisingly strong.

She lets go.

"Where's everyone else?"

I look at her.

"Ah, it's just me today. They're chilling in the room."

There's a silence between us.

"Uh, J-Juvia... you're not hanging out with Gajeel today?"

She looks down, twiddling her fingers.

"Actually, Gajeel is busy today."

"O-Oh." I reply, taken aback.

That iron-head was rarely busy.

There's a small silence as I contemplate my next move.

"Gray-sama..."
"Juvia..."

We both stifle a laugh.

"You go." I tell her.

She takes a breath.

"D-does Gray-sama want to hang out with Juvia today?"

I feel my cheeks heat up.

"U-um... sure." I reply.

She puts her hands over her face.

"Juvia didn't expect a yes!" She exclaims, a bit embarrassed.

"Let's go." I say with a plain smile.

I grab Juvia's hand, pulling her towards the door.

We head out to the streets of Crocus.

The sun was out today, beaming down as we ran around laughing.

Juvia points out a local diner.

We go and sit at a table outside, enjoying the scenery.

"J-Juvia's never done something like this before..." She says nervously.

I laugh, looking at the menu.

"It's okay. Me neither."

A waiter comes over to take our order.

"I'll do a strawberry milkshake." I say, handing her the menu.

"J-Juvia will do the same!" Juvia adds.

The waiter smiles, taking her menu.

"I'll have that right out for you."

She walks away.

I watch as Juvia admires the scenery, unaware of my staring.

Then, there's a noise of someone clearing their throat.

I look away, noticing the waiter's arrival.

"Here you are." She says, setting down a large milkshake.

I didn't expect it to be so big.

"Sorry, we ordered two." I say.

She smiles, pulling out two straws and sticking them in the sweet drink.

"We made an extra large for you to share." She says, gesturing towards the drink.

"Enjoy!" She exclaims, walking off.

I look over to Juvia, my face a stain of reddish-pink.

"Uh, I guess we'll have to share."

She nods.

We both awkwardly put our mouths on the straws.

T-this isn't so bad.

I look at Juvia, her face being the same shade as mine.

We finish up, paying the waiter.

"Ready to go?" I ask her.

She stands up with a big smile.

"Ready!"
