Loona babysits
Loona, the sassy and independent hellhound from I.M.P, had been asked to babysit Y/N while Charlie and Vaggie went out for the night. They were visiting a relative of Charlie's who had come down with the flu. Angel Dust couldn't babysit due to him going to a family reunion, with Alastor as his plus one. Husk had fleas. Niffty was out of town. Loona was initially hesitant, but when she saw the cute little baby with his big, innocent eyes and chubby cheeks, she couldn't resist agreeing.
She soon arrived at the hotel. With her choice of any room to stay in.
"Ok, so emergency contacts are on the refrigerator and in our room and on the list we gave you. Medicine and first aid are in the kitchen and bathrooms. Y/N's formula is in the refrigerator." Charlie was explaining to Loona. Loona was on her phone and listening. Vaggie growled at her.
"Listen, if anything happens to Y/N, so help me Te desollaré vivo y te golpearé con un hierro candente. Te sacaré afuera por tu lengua!" Vaggie said to her, until Charlie calmed her down.
"We promise that we'll be back by tomorrow. Good luck." Charlie said to Loona as she handed her Y/N. "Bye sweetheart." Charlie cooed to Y/N as she and Vaggie kissed his cheeks.
As soon as Charlie and Vaggie left, Loona picked up Y/N and held him close, feeling a warmth in her heart that she didn't expect. "Alright, kid, let's see what we can do to keep you entertained," she said, her voice surprisingly gentle.
Loona took Y/N to the living room. She sat down on the couch and looked at Y/N, who looked at her in fascination and wonder.
"So...your a baby. How's that working out for you?" Loons asked him. Y/N cooed abs grabbed her nose. For a baby, he had one helluva grip.
"Ouch! Hey! What give!" Loona snapped and pulled back. Y/N looked at her after she did that. The infants eyes widened and started watering. He let out a whimper and a small squeal. Loona's face fell as the baby started crying.
"No no no! D-don't cry! I'm sorry little guy!" Loona said in a panic and started rocking him. The baby cried out loudly and sadly. Loona kept rocking him and started humming a song. Y/N sniffed and started calming down. She rubbed his small head and looked at him.
As Loona spent more time with baby Y/N, she found that she really enjoyed playing with him. She would make funny faces and silly noises to make him laugh, and he would coo and giggle in response.
One of Y/N's favorite games was playing peek-a-boo. Loona would cover her face with her hands and then quickly reveal herself, making Y/N burst into fits of laughter. They would play this game over and over again, and each time, Y/N's laughter filled Loona's heart with joy.
Another game they played was playing with toys. Loona would bring out Y/N's favorite stuffed animal's, a little teddy bear, and a dinosaur, and a Jack in a Box, and they would play together, rolling the toys back and forth between them. Loona loved watching Y/N's little hands grasp onto the toy's, his face lighting up with excitement.
Despite her tough exterior, Loona found that spending time with Y/N had brought out a softer, more caring side of her. She loved seeing him smile and hearing his laughter. It made her feel like she was doing something good and worthwhile.
As the day wore on, Loona found herself growing more attached to Y/N. She had never expected to feel this way about a baby, but there was something about Y/N that just warmed her heart.
When it was time for Y/N to take a nap, Loona laid him down in his crib and watched him sleep. She couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment as she listened to the sound of his soft breathing.
As she left Y/N's room, Loona felt a strange feeling in her chest. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew that spending time with Y/N had changed her in some way. She felt more caring, more nurturing, more...human.
And as she walked away, she couldn't wait for the next time she could play with Y/N again. After a couple hours, he woke up. She gave him a bath, read him a story, played Angry Birds on her phone with him, and also played with his toy trains.
Later, she laid out a blanket on the ground and put on some cartoons. She turned it to Nickelodeon. Y/N gurgled with delight as he watched the colorful characters dance across the screen. They watched SpongeBob episodes "Gary Takes a Bath" & "Shanghaied." The Fairly OddParents episodes "Abra-Catastrophe" & "Where's Wanda?/Imaginary Gary." Danny Phantom episodes "Fanning the Flames" & "13".
As the night wore on, Loona found herself growing more and more attached to Y/N. She even found herself cooing and making funny faces to make him laugh.
But just when Loona thought she had everything under control, Y/N started to fuss and cry, indicating that he was hungry. Loona panicked for a moment, unsure of what to do. She had never taken care of a baby before!
But then she remembered the formula that Charlie had left behind and quickly prepared a bottle for Y/N. As she fed him, Loona couldn't help but smile at how content and happy he looked.
As the night drew to a close, Loona put Y/N down for the night, feeling a sense of pride in herself. She had never thought she had a soft side, but taking care of Y/N had shown her that she was capable of more than she thought.
The next morning, when Charlie and Vaggie returned, Loona was surprised to find that she was sad to say goodbye to Y/N. "Hey kid, I better come back soon. I gotta make sure I keep an eye on you," she said, her voice laced with a newfound fondness.
As she left, Loona couldn't help but feel a little emptiness inside. She had never expected to enjoy babysitting, but taking care of Y/N had been a surprisingly fulfilling experience.
