Chapter 19- In A Pickle
Guys, guys. Stop what you are doing! We've reached 300 views! Can you believe that. I sure can't. Thanks for the views. Ok shut up Evelin. They want a new chapter.
"Eve over here" waved Amber. She stood next to an ice cream stand with the other girls.
As Eve walked closer she could her May talking to Jada about wearing sneakers with the dress.
"I mean what if there was an explosion" she argued
Jada sighed "The proper attire for a gown should not be sneakers"
Jessie nodded in agreement. Tammy shook her head "It doesn't matter as long as they match Marco's suit"
"Come on girls. Let's go shopping"
They went to a store called Gaby's Corner. The lady (you should be smart enough to know its a women named Gaby) was nice and friendly.
"How can I help you girls" she pushed her long brown hair behind her ears
"We are just looking for dance type dresses" Amber answered
Gaby smiled "Oh I have some really good ones at the back left. They aren't that expensive too"
"That's great" May looked up "do you have sneakers too"
They all laughed. Gaby nodded. They started making their way to the back. Eve looked at the dressing rooms. She felt this feeling, but brushed it off.
Her eyes popped open when she saw the nice gowns. They were so shiny and elegant. Looking at the tags, they were only fifty points. The shoes matched the style. It was so incredible.
All the girls started picking out their favorites. They talked about their funky fresh dance moves. And to think I used to plan what I would during prom at my house. Alone. Alone.
"This metallic silver suits me nicely in my opinion" Jada held the dress up to her. It's silver bottom was short in the front but long in the back. The sleeves were black with silver tips. Her glasses matching perfectly with her dress.
"I told you I would find a red one Jessie. See it even has a ribbon. It also has a cool glitter pattern. I love glitter. One time I ate some on accident and my poop looked all sparkly for a week. Hopefully I'll find some shoes to go with this. And the price on this is real cheap. One time I had to pay twenty hundred points for some fancy shirt" Tammy babbled on
Amber looked at the rack with dresses. She pulled out an emerald green one and smiled. It had a shiny bottom. The top had a white lining to frame it. The bottom twirled whenever it moved.
"That's beautiful Amber" Eve complimented
She blushed "You think. Green was Raven's favorite color"
"Go try it on" Eve rushed
Amber shook her head "let's wait for the others to finish"
"What going on" whispered Sir Trent crouched down next to Bailee
Bailee held her binoculars down "Well maybe if you'd shut your face I could tell you"
They followed Eve into the store. Bailee hid the two of them in a cloths rack. Sir Trent kept talking and complaining. It was driving her mad, but she had to do this. She looked through her binoculars again.
"Awe come on. Let me see this time" Sir Trent whined
Bailee rolled her eyes "Why me" she mumbled under her breath
They were planning to lock her in with the dressing room key. Then if she didn't make it, they could open it. Safe. Not too dangerous, but good enough.
Eve started looking through the rack too. She hasn't been to a dance since, well, never. And her taste in dresses was small. The last time she wore one of those things was the time she played flower girl in her aunts wedding, but that was nine years ago.
Then her eyes spotted the most dark, but elegant dress she ever saw. It's black material matched her personality completely. The silver sparkles at the bottom gave it a bling. The top had silver/gold lace that wrapped around her neck. It was perfect for her. She yanked it off the rack and stared at it. She flipped the tag to check its point price. 100! What?! Jada please have enough. Eve herself couldn't believe she wanted it this bad, but she couldn't find anything better.
May held up a sky blue dress with a yellow belt to match the sneakers. It was a short dress so you could see the shoes, and the bottom puffed up. The top had a pretty yellow and blue flower show.
Jessie, behind her, awed at this long orange dress. It came with a red jacket to match Tammy's. A belt went around her waist that was held by a flower clip. The dress had a spit at the bottom which allowed one of her legs to show.
"Ok let's go try them on" Amber rushed them to the dressing area
"Are you sure you want to change with us. It may be uncomfortable" May asked Amber
She stopped "Nah I'll be fine"
They all stared at her "What" she smiled
"Just come on" they giggled
They started undressing. Amber laughed. "Yeah I'm turning around. Tell me when you all are done"
Once they where done Amber turned around. She awed at them with a goofy smile. That made them smile too.
"And I love your dress Eve. It's so dark" May pointed out
Eve smiled "Thanks. That blue and yellow looks awesome"
Tammy squealed "We all look so elegant. We have to take pictures at the dance. Jessie can you believe we found matching dresses"
Jessie nodded pulling out her camera. They all posed. She looked at the camera and smiled. The girls did too.
"Hurry up Eve" Amber shouted from the counter. They were all almost ready to go except Eve. She lost her other shoe and couldn't find it anywhere.
"What is going on" Eve mumbled looking though all the empty stalls
"Sir Trent stop smelling Eve's shoe for goodness sake" Bailee scolded
He took a good whiff of it "Ah smells like vanilla"
She frowned "Ugh" I had to get stuck with this idiot. She took the key out of her pants pocket. "You know what to do" she handed it to Sir Trent.
"Yeah sure" you have no idea what I'm about to do
