Marco pov
It's been a week since I walked star home..after that she was gone for awhile and I kinda wondered where she left or what happened but I can't really be up in her business "Marco! Hurry up" I look in front of me and see Janna and Jackie in their casual attire. We decided to go to the movies seeing as a new movie is coming out.

"Sorry" I jogged towards them as they looked at me funny "What are you thinking about?" Janna asked with a smirk on her face "Nothing? I'm just spaced out" she rolled her eyes as she shakes her head "Your thinking about that girl" I blush and move my head away from her "What? No I'm not..she's not my type"

I say firmly as the two laugh "Dude it's cool to have a crush? And besides your not the only one wondering where she went" Jackie said looking forward "I thought you had her number?"

"I do, I tried texting her and calling but she never responds. I think her phone is cut off or she just doesn't want to hang" I sigh thinking about that..she looked super chill when she hung with us and when she apologized to me for being rude.

"I guess.." as we got there I heard a familiar giggle and Jackie looked at me "You hear that right?" I nod and we both look around and as our eyes scan the crowd I see her. Her beautiful long blonde hair, her fair skin and the cute outfit she's wearing "There she is" Jackie whispers and I walked towards her.

As i did I noticed she was her mother, I believe it was her mother because they looked similar but her mouth had light blue hair "Can I help you?" Her woman asked as she glared at me as star turns and smiles at me "Hey, it's you" I'm frozen because she recognized me "Marco?"

I shake my head "I'm sorry, where you been? Jackie had been texting you and calling you like crazy" I said trying to not sound jealous "Oh I've been busy with my parents, also my phone broke and I forgot to tell you guys at school" but it's been a week since we last saw her

"For a week?" She nods as she eats ice cream "Yup, what are you guys up to?" "Movies.." "Oh..is Oskar around?" I shake my head "No..he's hanging out with other people" she sighs "Oh that's too bad, well you better get going and I'll see you guys Monday okay?"

She gave me a cute smile before she went and catches up with her mother. I walk back and the girls are in edge wondering what happened. "What happened?! Did she tell you?" "She's been busy with her parents..also her phone broke that's why she couldn't recieve your calls" Jackie nods and Janna looks at me

"Did you ask her to watch the stars tomorrow night?" I blush and shook my head "N-No why would I? She asked about Oskar not too long ago" I said kinda bummed "So? You should ask her anyways to be friends you idiot" I rolled my eyes at her

"I'm not an idiot and I'll ask when we go home later" the girls giggled and I shake my head, I don't even want to do it but the look in her eyes as she sees the stars above. She seemed to be in her own world "Your blushing" Jackie said as I pull up my hoodie "Cut it out Jackie"

After movies and going to the mall I decided to go ask Star to watch the stars with me. I was kinda nervous because what if she thinks I'm weird or that she rather go with oskar than me? All this doubt running through my head that I didn't realize I was at her house. It's now or never, right? I took a deep breath and walked inside the clinic and all I hear were animals

"Hello how can I help?" A older man was behind the desk, he was short and had long blonde beard and was bald. His eyes reminded me of star's "Um, is star around?" As he was gonna answer a door opened "Dad do you..oh Hey Marco what are you doing here?"

I walked towards her as she had her hair in spacebuns and was wearing a oversized shirt with a jellyfish on and high knee socks. She was adorable "Can we talk outside?" She nods and we walk out and she looks at me "So, why are you here?"

"I wanted..to ask you if you wanted to watch the Stars tomorrow night? Their gonna be the brightest then it has for years" I said almost losing it "Are you asking me out?" I blush and shake my head frantically

"No! Just as friends I know you like Oskar but I just wanted to ask since you like looking at me! I'm gonna go since your not interested" as I began walking she pulled my arm "Hey! It's considered rude to walk away from a girl when you ask them out on a date" I keep shaking my head as I felt like I was going to explode

"ITS NOT A DATE!" I said rather loud and quickly "Yes" I stopped in my childness as I look down at her, she was smiling and her eyes seem to glow just like before "So..?" She rolled her eyes "Its a yes Marco, God your such an idiot" I groan a bit "I'm not an idiot" I say as I remember Janna saying the same thing

"Whatever, also I got a new phone so hand it over" I looked at her as she held her hand open for me to give her my phone "come on, give it" I slowly handed her the phone and watched her type away "Alright just call or text saying it's you" she smiles and giggles as she looks up at me

"Okay" she tilts her head wondering what's going on with me "See you tomorrow?" "Yeah, at 7" she nods "Alright, night marco" she waved as she entered the clinic and I stood there seeing her number. She gave me her number now? Is this progress? Probably? I shake my head and go home, this was exhausting for just asking a girl out.

They next night I rode my bike towards her house and I see her waiting in a cute teal dress with her hair tied in two pigtails. "Hey ready?" I asked and she nods as she stands on the back "Yup..hey question" I nod as I looked forward "Why did you ask me?" I stayed silent as I kept pedalling "Come on there has to be a reason?"

I blushed feeling weird and awkward "I asked you..because No one looks at the stars the way I do.." she softly gasps as her hold on my shoulders tightens "I asked you cause you told me you loved looking up at the stars, seeing you reach for them, wanting to be part of them..it's makes feel like I'm not alone you know?"

I said feeling all types of emotions because she hasn't said a word "Star? Are you-" I stopped pedalling as she wrapped herself around me and held tight. Did I say something that I wasn't supposed to say? "Star?" "Be quiet" she said sounding like she's crying.

I turn and face her, she has tears streaming down her pale cheeks "I'm sorry I just had a moment..it happens" I didn't question it seemed she didn't want to be bothered by it "Alright well we're here, well my secret place to watch the stars" I held her hand which were soft and warm, it felt nice holding her hand "Its so dark I can't see a thing"

she complained as we reached an open spot "Ta-da!" I say as I saw her face light up as the stars above us shine bright "This is beautiful" she walked more and held her arms high, just like before. She could feel like she could touch it.

As i walked next to her I noticed tears welled up in her eyes "The sky always takes my pain away even on my worse days" she said softly as she sat down on a rock and I walked towards her "Thank you" she said throwing me off guard "What?" She chuckles as she looks at me

"Thanks for bringing me here to watch the stars" she smiled sweetly as she moved over a little for me to sit "Come, I won't push you off" we chuckled a bit as I sat down. After I did she wrapped around my waist and leaned into my arms "Your warm" I smirked noticing she didn't bring a jacket. I unzipped my hoodie and put it around her, as i fixed it she looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes

"What?" She kissed my cheek "Your a gentleman" I blushed and nod "Of course.." she leaned closer towards me and I let her, she seemed comfortable in my arms. I wondered if she does this with oskar? Since he is her crush and not me. "Stargazing is my favorite thing to do..especially with someone who share the same interest as you"

I stay quiet letting her ramble on until I heard faint snors. She was sleeping and I smiled as I picked her up and carried her home seeing my bike won't help. As we get there I see her father and mother waving at me and I handed him his daughter

"Thanks my boy" he entered leaving her mother with me me "Thank you for bringing her home safe..she needed this" she gave me a small smile and entered as well. Her parents had slight accents but star didn't?

Wondered if she lost it or she hates using it? As I went to get my bike I see something shining on the ground. As i pick it up, it's stars bracelet..I knew it was hers because it had her name and had stars hanging from it.

As i went to drop it off the lights were off and they were probably asleep. I decided to give it to her at school which I hope she does come. Once I was home I heard someone calling so I checked my window and see Janna smiling at me "Hey! How did it go?" I smiled "It was amazing...I would that again if I had a chance to" I smiled thinking about star but I couldn't because she's not interested in me at all "So is she your type?" I shrugged "Beats me"
