After a few weeks of school my friends managed to get me to do other things like clubs or whatnot. "Hey Marco can I talk to you for a second?" Jackie pulled me aside and I looked at her "What's up?" "Well, I was invited to hang with a girl in one of my classes but she would only hang because she wants Oskar to go"

of course but why would she want me to go? "Okay but why are you inviting me?" "Because I don't want to be the 3rd wheel if oskar and her take off then it will be super awkward with me just there, so if you go we can be the other people and just hang, please? Besides she's into karate and other things your in to as well"

I blush just thinking who this girl could be? She sounds interesting "Fine I'll go, but I'm only doing it for you Jackie" she smiles and hugs me "Thanks your the best" I rolled my eyes and thought about it. Could I really relate to a girl I barely know even if she likes Oskar? I can't think much of it.

I finally got there and I was so mad at Jackie because she was late along with the girl too. I was actually spending my free day to meet this girl for nothing! I could've been practicing my karate but no, im in a park waiting for my friends and a girl i have yet to know.

I began walking home  until I tripped over shoes  with a star handbag? This is really odd? I wondered who it belonged to? As I kept looking around to see the owner of it, I see a random girl dancing on top of a jungle gym while holding a puppy. She acted like nothing mattered?

She looked like a weirdo but as I held the things that I assume are hers, she turns and looks at me. At that moment everything froze between us. The wind died down and the sounds of screaming children disappeared. Her sky blue eyes and her golden locks flowing in the wind as she held the puppy close while she looled at me.

She had slight tears running down her red cheeks as she slid down, giving the kids their puppy back. I finally broke the trance when she wiped her face and looked away from me. I blushed seeing as I'll make it awkward then it already is.

She put her hair in a messy bun as she walked by me to the bench that had her things "Hey" I said and she glared at me "What kind of weirdo takes a girl's stuff?! Your lucky I don't pound you on the head! Or even pepper spray you!"" I step back didn't expect her to come at me with such a harsh time of voice..she looked kind and sweet not this?!

"Well I wouldn't have to if you didn't leave it in the middle of a path way! I nearly tripped over it! Your lucky i picked it up someone could have taken it as a mean prank or worse! A thank you is in order" I said glaring a bit at her as she turned around which made me drop my glare.

she rolled her eyes not pleased with my request but then realized that what I said was absolutely true. "Thank you, is that better?" She said sarcastically before looking away from me, I never realized how short she was until I stood beside her. She looked through her bag and pulled out her phone that had a background of her and her dog?

Before I could ask a familiar voice interrupted my thoughts "Hey! There you two are" I saw Jackie run into her and Oskar walking behind "Yeah, I was a little early but it was okay" Jackie smiled before looking up at me with her grin which I hated sometimes

"I see you met Marco, isn't he a charmer? He's very kind and sweet" "Jackie! Please stop" i said pleading her but the girl  looked up at me and smiled which was calming yet terrifying "Yeah I did..until he took my things!" She said exaggerating the misunderstanding

"I didn't take them!  I moved them away so people wouldn't steal them! Stop exaggerating will you!?" She glared at me until Jackie showed her to Oskar and that's when I saw her face light up.

She likes Oskar, I have no chance with that not in a million years. But i don't get her? She could act so nice and call but then into a firecracker in just a second? Girls are so confusing and I'm actually confused about myself?

After hours of shopping and having fun well, Mostly watching Oskar and Star were, I was just hanging with Jackie. I didn't mind but everytime she would giggle or laugh it made me feel a little weird.

I don't understand Star she looked so peaceful while dancing on the jungle gym but then she was crying? I didn't understand what or why it caused her to? What's wrong with her? Is she hurting on the inside or is it her home? "Hey, you okay?"

I look at Jackie who was eating a candy bar looking at me a little comcerned "Yeah I'm fine" I lied i wasn't fine but she didn't need to know. she nods with a soft hum "What do you think of her? She's cute right? I see the way you look at her, she's pretty unique"

I blush a bit avoiding look straight at Star "Why are you asking me?" I whispered but she could hear "Because I know her.. Oskar and her aren't gonna work out because have you seen him? He's a player and she looks like those girls who doesn't like that?"

that was hard to believe, she looked wild and crazy by just one interaction we had, she thinks I'm a weirdo that likes taking girls clothing which is not true! Seeing the way she is with Oskar makes me think she's into those types of girls

"Whatever Jackie, I guess she's pretty or cute, but she's not really my type..sorry to disappoint you" Jackie giggled as she rolled her eyes and held on my arm "Whatever Marco, I just wanted you to distract you from your stressful life.."

After walking home, I noticed Star was the only one walking beside me. She kept looking forward and didn't even talk to me which I totally understand. This random creep walking you home and your not taking any crap. I let out a sigh and stopped and looked up at the sky.

"Marco?" I looked down and see Star look at me "Yeah?" I said wondering what she wanted "What are you doing?" I smile and look up again "Looking at the stars, their beautiful to look at..I find comfort in them" I heard her giggle and walked closer towards me

"I watch the stars every night with my parents is sometimes alone..it helps me relax" I watched her as she raised her arms trying to reach for them. I smiled and looked at her, her eyes seemed to shine brighter and I could see millions of stars in her eyes.

"Marco..I'm sorry from earlier I didn't mean to be so harsh or rude that's not me I just thought you were a weirdo but I saw you and noticed your not" I gasp a bit and nod "Its okay.." after a few minutes we continue to walk home, her home was a animal clinic I guess her parents are vets

"Bye Marco see you at school" she waved and entered the shop and I walked home in silence and passing cars. As i arrived I felt something get thrown at me "Marco! My place now! Pizza night!" I chuckled and ran over to Jannas house where I'm greeted by her mom and dad "Hello Marco, your welcome to stay"

I thank her and sit by Janna "So how was it? Tell me about it" I chuckled as I took a piece of pizza "It went good, never thought I would be called a weirdo when I first met the girl" Janna laughed before she calmed herself "Wow why did she?"

"Okay first I got there early and I was going to leave, but as I did I tripped over her shoes and purse so I grabbed them and looked for the owner of the two. Then I found her on top of a freaking jungle gym! She slides down it and grabbed her things and called me a weirdo for taking it! It's not fault right?"

Janna just bursted out laughing and I shake my head, it's hopeless telling her this if she thinks it's funny when it's not "Whatever I'm fine talking" "Marco I'm sorry, it's just I'm picturing her telling at you she's 5'2 and your 5'8 so I don't know" "So your 5'3 what's the difference?" She glared but smiled "Nice burn Diaz"

"I try seeing you as my best friend I have to.." I took a bite and I noticed Janna look down at her hands and stay silent "You okay?" She looks at me and nods "Yeah I'm fine just full" I raised a brow "You only had one slice? You usually can eat 5 easily"

she blushed and nudged my arm "Ouch! Janna?" "Well I'm not like old Janna" I was confused "Well you are to me..now eat because I know you can't resist this" she giggles and took another one "Shut up Diaz" we laugh all night but all I could think about was Star.
