Marco pov
I rushed out of the room, my face burning from that kiss..she made me feel more confused then I already am! She looked pleased when I kissed her but I still feel bad that I took her first kiss but I mean at least I kissed her before Oskar right? I smirked and went to buy her the treats she was asking for.

As i walked to the little  shop the owner smiles at me "Hello Marco, where's your friend? The energetic one?" I chuckled "She's sick..I'm just gonna buy her treats to make her feel better" he smiles "Well then here, free of charge hope you tell her how you feel" I blushed and shook my head playfully

"Yeah, no I'm not gonna Mr Jon but thanks and here..I can't take this without pay" I handed him the money which made him smirk "My mother and father raised me better than that" he looks at me oddly and I gave him the same one "What?" "How are you still single? You are so kind hearted and very sweet..if any girl finds you irresistible tell me"

we both laughed "Thanks for the compliment, see you around" he waved and I headed towards the hospital as I did I see Oskar and Jackie walking as well "Hey! Diaz fancy seeing you here? Going to see Star?" I nodded "Yeah I was here earlier but she made me go get her treats..I must obey or she'll rip my head off"

we chuckled and headed in "Hey Jackie why don't you go up first I gotta tell Oskar something.." she winks and nods "Alright see you two there" she left and it was just me and him "What's up dude?" I took a deep breath "I like star" he chuckles "I like her too"

"No..not in a friendly way like I think I'm head over heels for her" Oskar stays silent then smiles "Good luck" I was confused but he pulled me into a hug "What is going on?" "Dude it's obvious you like her too but we'll see who she'll pick okay? So good luck"

I smirked "Okay.." As we get there Jackie was pushed out of her room and ran towards us "Jackie?! What's happening?" "She was having a seizure! The doctors told me to leave!"

My heart dropped, seeing so many people coming in and out of her room and I felt my ghost leave my body. I couldn't bare it so I ran off with the others calling me "Marco!" I just couldn't stop...

I made it home and I was breathing heavily and my mother sees me "Marco? Honey are yo-" I ran into her arms and cried, she held on me and kept me close to her "She's not..not getting.." I couldn't even talk "She's not what Marco? Please relax and take a deep breath"

I tried but I couldn't I was thinking the worst and seeing her dead on the bed the next day? "She's not well" I managed to say clearly and I passed out "Marco? Honey? Marco!?"

I woke up on my bed with a small wet rag and see my mother, she smiles as she held my face her touch so warm and soft "How you feeling?" I sigh "To be honest..not good" mother shifted on my side "Who were you talking about Marco? Who's she?" I blushed thinking of Star

"A girl I met a couple months ago..Jackie made me go meet her but she was into Oskar" mother huffs "Why do girls see in a boy like him? Your more handsome than him? Look at you a perfect mixture of me and your father" she kissed my cheek and I laughed a bit "Mom, let me continue please" she nods

"Well we met in a weird way, she was on top of a jungle gym holding a dog, dancing and acting odd and when she looked at me..she was in tears" remembering that day, her sweet smile and vibrant blue eyes gazing into my own "Why was she in tears?" I zoned out

"I don't know? She never told me and I never asked cause we kinda started on the wrong foot, I took her things but I actually kept it safe from random people in case someone stole it but she saw it in a different way" I smiled and mom noticed too

"What's her name? She must be something special to make you blush?" I could feel my heart race "Star Butterfly.." "What a beautiful name, do you have pictures? I wanna know what she looks like" I nodded and point to my desk for my phone "Sure I have a couple.." I clicked through photos and showed her a couple

"This was at the park..we kinda drifted away from the others for a bit before she left me and went towards oskar" mom took my phone and smiles "Wow she's really pretty, no wonder you like her" I blushed "Mom please..I have more" she raised a brow at me "How many Marco?" "Like a few we barely took photos, she has more on her phone I guess"

"This one was I think the festival, we had fun but we had to end the day a little early" mom noticed my tone in voice "Why? Did something happen?" I nodded "Yeah she fell onto the ground and I had to help her and carry her, she felt so bad and I told her not to worry" mom looked at the photo "She looks tired in this photo..her hair looks darker and so so her eyes" I sigh "Yeah.."

This one was recent, this was a couple weeks before she got worse "This is my favorite one.." I said smiling "She looks so full of color" mom said and I nodded "Yeah, this photo was weeks before she got sick and ended up in the hospital" mom focused on me "She's in a hospital? How long has she been in there?"

"Almost a month..she's not getting better..the doctors runs tests after test..but they don't give her right information" I remember her saying it's hard to be strong but you gotta get through it. I think that's why I fell for her, she was positive all the time when she knew she really couldn't.

"What does she have?" "Efferent, it's a motor condition that she can't control..she told me it's treatable but she has yet to tell me what it is?" Mother looked sad for me but I didn't want her to be "Marco, don't you think she doesn't want to tell you because she feels like your getting attached to her?"

I never really put it in her point of view? "Maybe but I'm still had friend and I want her to feel great before she has to go" mom smiled and held my face "When did you become so big" I smiled "I've always been" after a couple hours min made dinner and I invited Janna since I haven't really seen her since the milkshake incident

"Hello Mrs Garcia is Janna home?" Asked and she shook her head "I'm sorry Marco, she's out on a date" a date? I wonder with who? "Oh okay thanks for telling me" she smiles and I walk back to my place and texted Jackie to come over, it's strange that she's on a date? And with who? I shake the thought, it's Janna she can do whatever she wants

"Is Janna coming?" "No she's on a date" I told my mother who was laying out the plates "So she's not coming?" "But I invited Jackie if that's fine?" "Of course it is, I haven't seen her in such a long time" we laughed a bit and shortly after Jackie came over

"Jackie! Look how beautiful you look" she giggles "Thanks Mrs Diaz, it's great to see you again" they talked more and then we are dinner but I was quiet..I was thinking if star was safe and okay but all I can do is pray she's okay.
