  Jaiyeola and her friends were talking as usual, they were having Economics but Mr Dapo was not in school,  all the students faced one another, in small groups of two's and three's.

Today was fun, mainly because many teachers did not come to teach our class,  and I usually had many free periods on Fridays.

8 sat next to my sweet seat partner Clara and we both faced Ore and Faith after turning our seat.

"Yes, hope you did not forget, the Party is tomorrow." I said reminding them about the birthday party.
And guess what, Stella is throwing the party all by herself.

Mr Badmus and Aunty,  traveled very early today, to Osun state...
Mr Badmus's younger sister, gave birth to baby boy, last Saturday after about ten years of marriage... According to what Stella told me.

And Aunty and Stella's dad are coming back not until Sunday evening.
Stella said she wanted to throw the party at night.

You know me, I did not like the idea at all,  but she kept whining that it is her birthday  not mine, and that she only invited some of her classmates.

Yeah, I know Stella well... Sha don't be surprised if you end up seeing over fifty teenagers at our house.

But still I invited my own friends, not really for the birthday, we have our own sleepover plans.

"What time is it norh?." Ore asked scratching her hair awkwardly.

"Seven pm to twelve pm." I replied smiling, I was a bit excited even though I don't really like parties.

The one we did in my previous school, at Friday nights I've attended it a few times...
And mhen, I hate the sight of seniors making out even though most of them aren't drunk,  alcohol is not allowed,  but I trust useless students to sneak it in.

And since no teacher supervises us,  the Students drink what they want and do what they like.

To my friends like Nifemi the party always rocked although she was the girl most guys are scared to ask out... Nifemi doesn't take that shit!, she once slapped a guy for saying he loves her,  well the other girls at the hostel said she was immature for doing that.

Even though she likes parties and she is very hot and all that, she doesn't do all those stuff like kissing and making out... And then the next Monday at school the guy acts like nothing ever happened...
And he treats you like trash or instead he starts telling all his friends how you moaned and how hot you are and all that... My previous school parties were the worst!

Azin, I hate the smell of all this useless things they drink. And I trust Timi to sneak it into Stella's party,
I don't have a say in it... Because whenever I say something Stella says I'm bossing her around.

My own is to eat and drink, gist with my friends then when it's eleven or twelve I'm going to bed.

"Can't we stay over night, I can't return home at twelve it is not safe, and I might get drunk oo. "
Ore replied, 
You need to see the look on my face right now.

"So you take alcohol, at this age?"
I asked looking very irritated,  but somehow she found my facial expression very amusing.

"That's how star do!" She said smiling.
I turned my head to face Faith.
"What about you, do you drink?. "
She smiled at me,
"Yes, I do drink... Soft drinks, like Sprite. " She replied, smiling after seeing my irritated look change into a facial expression that said, 'Thank God you don't drink.'

"But I can't stay over oo,  my bro will be coming back,  so he will pick me up. " Faith replied.

Oh yes,  she told me about her brother who is planning to come to Lagos tomorrow.

"Okay, hope you sent him the address?. "
"Yes I did that yesterday." She replied, I nodded.

"So are you telling me you don't drink?." Clara asked,  I looked really surprised.

I heard the usual SSS3 science students and their noise,  well whenever they are going or coming back from class.

"Well I  take 7up beer."
I replied before laughing after noticing the look on Clara and Ore's face,
So did they think I was going to say... 'yehh I love vodka and tequila.'

But seriously the look on their face made me laugh, you know annoying people can be fun at times.

In split seconds they were all carried away by the SSS3 students.
The moment I faced the window to see the seniors that were passing, my smile faded away.
and after seconds of both of us staring at each other, I broke eye contact with him.

First time I'm not seeing him smiling, just great!
When I'm trying my best to avoid him,  he can't help but stare at me,  with those innocent eyes of his.

I'm sorry but I don't want any relationship
Any drama
And I don't want to get hurt in the end.

Clara, Faith and Ore started eating, since we were too busy gisting during break time when they came back from the canteen.

I did not follow them,  since I forgot my money at home and I'm avoiding Daniel so I don't want to go and meet Stella to borrow me money.
Even though I'm very hungry.
But still,  if it means I can avoid Daniel I would rather stay hungry and watch my friends eat.

All I want is to avoid him, well till he stops loving me... When he moves on,  when he learns that there is someone actually dying to be his girlfriend.

Well there's actually many 'someones.', like Cynthia or the head girl or Caroline or stel, all the girls I mentioned are in fact very beautiful.

"Come and eat." Faith said smiling at me,  I'm actually hungry, but I don't like the idea of eating other people's food.

"No you eat on." I said not even knowing what to say, I don't think I have ever found myself in such a situation.

"Why aren't you eating?" Ore asked through mouthfuls of jollof rice.
Somehow I admired her very small lips.

"I forgot my money at home."
I said, sighing.
How could I forget that,
And God knows how I'll even get home, well unless Hanty Stella has spare cash, because I don't even have money for transport.

Stella can't even lap me,😆 Her bones will break. All she can do is eat,  play, frustrate, make noise,  plan birthdays and sleep also taste plantain

"Too bad, or should borrow you money to eat. " Clara asked.

Although I hate that slang or whatever it is,  in fact I dislike Davido.

But still Clara is from a wealthy family, the only child, and she does anything she wants.
But she is still a sweetheart.

And Ore has an older brother and a younger sister in Primary four, she's a photocopy of her Younger sister, they look so much alike.

Faith on the other hand is also from a wealthy family, she is the only girl and has four older brothers.
One of which is in Abuja and will be arriving at Lagos tomorrow, also he is coming to pick Faith up after Stella's stupid party.

Clara and Ore are neighbors, I found out when Clara's Dad came to pick both of them one day.

Clara brought out a two hundred naira note and she couldn't help but smile at what I said.
"Are you not an OBO?" she asked, at first i smiled to my inner self, but it made me remember my Mom and her plans to get all my late fathers wealth, even though it was divided and clearly written in his will that most part belonged to his children.

But I still don't know why, I mean my Dad loved his wife more than anything in the world, so why his CHILDREN?

"Which boy have you been thinking of. " That was Ore's voice calling me back to reality.
I smiled at what she said, she is fully aware that I'm not the kind of girl that will be fantasizing about a guy.

But the reason I smiled was that I was thinking about the only guy I liked, My Daddy.

"Me that I'm thinking of what to eat." I said before rolling my eyes at her,
I can't tell them I'm thinking about my Dad, I don't tell them family matters and I somehow regretted telling Daniel about Anjola the other day.

We continued our discussion when I collected the money from Clara and I thanked her because she is such a sweetheart and it was so nice of her to lend me money.
Although I was very hungry I did not go out because I was enjoying talking with my friends and Ore kept gisting us about this Bobrisky guy.
Still I did not embrace the idea of going to the Kiosk when it is not break time, and I could not wait till long break, my stomach kept grumbling and I was already loosing interest in the discussion.

I faced the other side and my eyes landed on Cynthia who I kind of felt has been staring at me all this while, she gave me a look of pure venom.

My mind flash backed to what happened this morning, when I was climbing the stairs innocently, like a good student that does not come late to school.

I had climbed two stairs and was almost upstairs when Cynthia and her you know nah ... Her minions started coming.
And as to being number one on the list of people I plan to avoid, I clearly stepped back and allowed them to come down first,  before I go up. It was the proper thing to do since it was only me and they were three coming down.

"Looks like my blow made an impact in your life." she uttered, and I just acted like I did not here that smirking to my self.

"The riff raff knows her boss now." Halimah said before hissing
I did not want to talk even though I felt like laughing inside of me,  I remembered when Daniel almost beat her.

JJ since when did you start depending on a guy?

I did not depend on him, things happened and he came to the rescue... Duhh.

Is he your knight in shining armor?, or is he your superman?

I kept asking myself stupid questions, it was as if my brain ganged up against my mind and heart.

"We are the boss of all bosses." That was Chisom talking, let's say she is the brainless one.

I tried to control my laughter, but mhen I really couldn't help it.
They all stared at me watching me laugh till I was fully satisfied, even though I don't laugh at funny things that much, I found what Chisome uttered to be very funny and an amused expression kept dancing on my face.

If there is something people need to know about life it is that, laugh your heart out infront of your enemies, trust me that thing will hurt them like mad!

"Yes I know... Bus of all Buses." I replied as if I was talking to my self but almost in a whisper and I kept nodding like I just heard an amazingly true fact.

I smiled to myself when I remembered how I walked out on them when they all continued to bark like dogs that were deprived of their bones, my last words must have hurt her so much sha. 😂

"Permission to proceed with your barking has been granted oo."

I gave her a smile and faced Ore and Clara who were so engrossed in their conversation.

"My stomach oo." I uttered, well I did not want to say that out but you know, words get loose at times.

"What happened to your stomach, are you feeling fine?" Faith asked, and I was busy stretching before letting out a lazy yawn.

I'm hungry!

"Why weren't you in school yesterday?" Ore asked, I already told Faith yesterday since we chatted.

"I had catarrh and cough and stomach pain too." I replied even though I did not feel like answering their questions, these days I go home late and I end up getting drenched because of the rain.

"Peele" Ore replied doing one of those her sad baby face.
And I just smiled since I was too lazy to make words.

Later they all insisted I get something to eat even though it meant I sneaked out of the main school building to get snacks from the Kiosk.

Fine with me, but only because I'm hungry, and I still don't like the idea that I might get caught and the punishment for that is crawling back to your class, which is quite a distance, and there is this stupid sharp sand just before the main school building... The sand is not only sharp, it can lead to painful bruises while you crawl on your knees.
I've seen late comers when they crawl and how most of them end up crying.

Let us not forget the disgrace and just when I don't want Cynthia and her group to make fun of me, it will be very embarrassing infront of junior students, and if Senior Temidayo should catch me,  she won't let it slide so easily.
I don't know why but she doesn't like my face.
But Hallelujah you know me, it has always been Fuck haters!

I told them to follow me, but they all gave me cowardly excuses their best excuse was that, they would catch us of we all go together, so I had no choice but to go alone.

And just when I was about to leave, Temidayo rang the bell!
Forget about calling her senior Temidayo.
I only respect those who respect themselves.

Should I go or I should just... I'm hungry jae.
So I went.
