It was closing hour and Stella sat down talking to her usual friends,  and it was already past the time they should all have gone home.

Stella sat down beside Paul and Victoria sat beside Tim,  Daniel sat alone, as three seats faced one another and a desk was placed in the middle .

The five of them sat down talking about, musicians and the latest Nigerian musics.

Stella's P. O. V.
Paul seemed to have listened to many songs during the holidays,  typical Nigerian teenagers going crazy about the Marlians fest.

Marlians korh...
"So because you want to do big boy, you will norh nah wear belt... You will now call yourself a marlian." Victoria uttered before hissing.

"Yes nah...that's how star do. "
Paul said before laughing.
"You people cannor
understand...Who has heard Tesumole?"
Tim asked smiling at me,  probably trying to irritate me, because I did not like Naira Marley.

"Meee ." Victoria said smiling happily.
"I thought you did not like him."
I asked Victoria,  all this while Daniel rested his back and was reading a novel,  he was not really interested in our conversation because he did not always listen to Nigerian music.🎶

All his life was Billie Eilish or Ed Sheeran.

"Im not a Marlian but I listen to his songs nah." Victoria said before I gave her a dissapointed look.

All his songs were nonsense,
Total trash,  well Paul and Tim don't think that.
Instead they will off their belts in class after the Assembly and claim Marlians.
All Nonsense Jare.

Just then Jaiyeola barged into my class again,  and I knew why,  it was time to go home,  but I was not feeling like going just yet.

"Hey".
She greeted everyone forcing a smile just before giving me a serious look.
"Let's go home nah."
She said looking more depressed than serious.
"Not now,  the time is only four fifteen,  we can still spend forty five minutes, "
I said hoping she was going to listen to me.
She gave me an angry look that said.
Let's go home now!
"please nah... Okay come and seat down here." I begged trying to convince her as I tapped the chair,  telling her to seat next to Daniel.

She stared at me for a while and I gave her a sad baby look saying silent please .
She sat beside Daniel and watched as we discussed,  constantly checking the time on her Black wrist watch
This girl and colour Black sha.

"Daniel you did not tell us about your holiday." I said before giving him a slight blow on his shoulder after noticing how he concentrated so much on that boring novel.

Well all he ever reads is action and mhen I love Romance, or perhaps Teen fiction.
How does he not sleep off while reading those boring books.
Action novels are boring
Horror novels are scary
Adventure novels are tiring...
But romance is all about the great feeling of love and nature.
Daniel looked around, probably not noticing that Jaiyeola sat beside him, and everyone was eager to hear what he was about to say... Well everyone except Aunty Jaiye.

I called her that because she acted older than her age.

"My holiday... It was Stellatastic."
He said smirking at me, it was actually cool.
And yes I was blushing.
He just turned my name to a word.
"Awwnn... Daniel that's so cool, I'm guessing it was fantastic though."
I replied smiling at him.

Stellatastic, I won't forget that ever!
Tim and Paul were already back to their conversation, throwing common slangs of Naira Marley,
Obsessed teenagers.

Just then I could see Jaiye, anxiously checking the time on her wrist watch,  if only I can make her disappear,  or probably find something to keep her busy.
"Jaiyeola,  why don't you check out the school 's Library,  there are many novels you would like. "
I said and just then all eyes were on Jaiye.
She did not reply for a while.
"Okay but when it is exactly five o clock I'm going home." She replied.
"Sure,  it is the building that is closest to the main gate."
I said, I don't want her to come back here asking for the way to the library.

"Okay... five o clock! " she looked at me very seriously and tapped her black watch.
I watched her walk out,  fast as usual. I somehow admired her unique life style.
Boyish girl oshi. ☺☺

But I know I'm also very unique in my own way... I don't want anybody to go and be thinking that I'm jealous of my weird cousin .

"Did she always walk that fast? "
Tim asked me.
What his business with how she walks?
Some boys sha.

"well she's a boy." I said that finish, before realizing that I just said nonsense.

"Ehhn... You say wethin?" Paul asked, looking at me with that crazy look that makes everyone laugh,  such a funny guy he can be.

"I meant to say she is boyish... You know nah, like a tomboy. "
I replied,  before they all start laughing again.
"And what is your business with how she walks, Woman wrapper."
I said facing Tim , who narrowed his eyes at me before rolling his eyes,  even though he did not know how to do it.

"Can't I just ask a question ni?"
He said grumbling.

Daniel stood up and picked up his school bag from a seat behind him, I would recognize that blue school bag of his anywhere.
He refused to change his school bag since SSS1.

" I'm already going home." he said smiling genuinely,  such an innocent looking goat.

Well all my friends were goat,  but Vicky was a cow.

"Why nah?,  I thought we would all go together. " I said looking sad .
"Sorry I've got plans, and my sister will be waiting for me. "
He said, good of him to consider his younger sister.
But still why now?

"Okay sha... See you tomorrow. "
I replied still looking sad and dissapointed but in a playful manner.
He waved his hand at all of us and hopped away, giggling to what Vicky said.

"Help me greet my boyfriend oo."
Vicky was referring to Daniel's older brother, she'd known Daniel well since they lived in the same area, and they also went to the same church.

It was funny that Vicky was friend's with all his siblings.

So after he left Paul dragged my hand.
"Royal witch don't cry... We will all go home together."
Then again all of them where laughing.

Well he called me witch,
"Nice of you The leader of the goats ."
I said smiling at him.
"The goat's apprentice."
He said smirking,  it was as if he particularly learnt how to tease people.
I just narrowed my eyes at him and looked away.

Jaiyeola was picking some books from the library,  she was happy to find so many novels,  and she would die to read any type of novel, well except Romance.

The girl was not the Lover lover type,  she was just the plain Jaiye that will punch anyone who dared to cross the line.

She also did not like people invading her privacy.

I really don't know what to admire, whether the Big conducive and peaceful Library with a very nice Librarian, or the good novels I found here.

And I just picked the novels that looked interesting,  I know you don't judge a book by it's cover but still,  I picked the ones that looked interesting.

I saw some other junior students, in a side were school text books were neatly arranged, they were obviously searching for a textbook.

I only thought the school had one library and that was the one upstairs,  but it is nice to have a very big library like this one.

"hey. "
A voice greeted behind me,  I turned around to see,  the guy I assumed to be Daniel, since Stella mentioned his name earlier.
"Jaiye right? " he asked me,  smiling genuinely.
He looked nice and cool headed .
"Yes... Jaiyeola Johnson and you? " I asked him smiling a bit, well trying my best to be nice,  not that I was eager to know his name oo.
"Woww." he said looking very surprised,  somehow as if I said something unbelievable.
I stared at him confused.

"I'm Daniel Johnson. "
He said with an happy grin on his face,then I was certain what made him surprise, and what brought an happy grin to his face.

So we both have the same surname, which was kind of cool sha.

"Ohh I see we have the same surname... That's cool. "
I replied smiling at him.
At least I made a new friend,
And that Today again.
