     It was during the long break, and most of the SSS3 students were either eating, talking or gisting .
It was Thursday and the day was bright.

Daniel,  Paul and Tim were solving some past questions while Stella and Victoria were already carried away while gisting.

Stella's P. O. V

"And when we got home she threatened to tell my mom. " I said telling Victoria what JJ did to me yesterday.
"Really?" Tim said smirking at me,  it was very annoying. And I did not even know that the guys were listening to our conversation,  because they all looked absorbed in the Biology past question.
So I just faced Victoria after rolling my eyes at him .

"And after that she ordered me to make coffee wash her sport wear and cook dinner."
And then all the guys started laughing,
Please what is funny nah.
And Even Paul that hardly laughed was laughing.
Why did I even say it in front of them gaan.

"That girl is not your younger cousin,  she's your older brother. "
Paul said finding it amusing although his eyes was still on the question papers.

"It is not funny. " I said rolling my eyes at them but they all still continued to laugh.
It is not their fault, assuming I can beat that girl ni,  shey all this rubbish will be happening.
I hissed at all of them and then I noticed Victoria was also giggling

All this ones are nor my friends ooo, they are enemies of progress.
I just faced my front, since I and Victoria were seating in front of them.

The three of them squeezed themselves on a seat.
Even though the seat was meant for two pupils and Tim's  seat was behind were three of them were seated.
Tim's seat was the last  seat .

I faced my work back before Victoria poked me.

"Oyah sorry nah...What now happened?"
She asked looking Soo curious.

"I'm not telling you people again. "
I replied angrily before rolling my eyes at her.

Then my mind went back to last night after dinner, when Mommy was telling both of us, of  how her and Daddy went out for lunch and watched a movie at shoprite .
She also bought shoes and clothes for me and that idiot.
She said she bought them because we have been good girls lately,  and we have behaved ourselves.
Just then JJ smirked at me, repeating  the word Good girls.

She did that because of the crime I committed... It is not even a crime gaan

Shey I know that rain will fall ni?

And then I gave her a long stare and looked at her with a bad eye.
I was suffering so much just because ordinary rain beat her,  and she did not even catch cold... Right now I'm suffering from cough and catarrh.

Mum kept on blabbing about how romantic it was,  and how she wore her husband's suit when she was feeling cold... But I noticed something about JJ, normally she does not believe in love or should I say,  she does not like when people are talking about love,  so I understood what she was trying to do.

Yesterday night she kept smiling at me which was unusual,  she's this kind of girl that hardly smiles. And anytime I found what mom was saying amusing she would smirk  at me and then my smile will fade away and she wee start smiling.

So I thought of it and I think I understand her a bit,  whenever she's doing wickedness she's always very very happy and when you do it for her she becomes angry and obnoxious.

"Stella... Stella!... Stel why are you staring at me angrily. "
A girl seating in front of me said,  her name is Aisha,And she just snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Ohh, Sorry... I was lost in thought, someone is annoying me... That's why. "
I replied, and she asked the question she had asked before. But I was lost in thoughts and not able to reply.

"Please borrow me your ruler."
I placed my hand under my locker and brought out my Pink Mathematical set.

"Take." I said handing it over to her when she stretched her hands backwards .

And then I just continued my work trying to forget all the idiots that managed to spoil my mood.
But seriously JJ has to respect me I'm sixteen and she's fifteen,  so she should respect me.

The SSS2 students were having Mathematics, it was just after their long break and the period was almost over.

Jaiyeola's P. O. V

"Cynthia what is the answer? " Mucheche asked expecting an answer to the equation on the board.

Cynthia a chubby girl who looked a bit older than her age,  or should I say looked matured but did not act matured judging by the way she acts in class.
And she has the habit of staring at me... Remember she and her friends were not nice to me when I first came to RHS.

So I don't think I want to be friends with her and we don't have any business together.
"Y equals minus five whole number two over eleven and X equals thirteen. "

And judging by the calculations I made on my note she was wrong.

"I see you have been relenting on your studies... " Mucheche said.
I'm not supporting Cynthia but does he think Mathematics is easy.
He faced me,  and I quickly took my eyes away bending my head slightly so he would not see me, because if he sees me he will ask me to solve the equation and I'm not that sure of the answer.

And on second thought I think he wants to call Faith who is sitting right behind me.
"You...Over there. "
He said pointing his filthy hands at my direction .

And I am praying it is not me he wants to ask, then I looked back trying to figure out if it was me or Faith he was referring to.

"You,  you over there, I'm talking to you that you're looking back... I'm talking to you. " he said staring at me while pointing his finger at me.
Why is he this desperate?

Somehow a stupid smile crawled
onto his stupid face.
Then he folded his arms,  watching me panic as I felt a bit embarrassed.
I checked the equation on the board to be sure of the question I attempted.

Solve the simultaneous equations 2x +5y = 1, 3x –2y= 30
I Spied at the answers in my book.
His arms were still folded as he gave me this annoying look.
"Y equals minus three and X equals eight." I replied and he looked into the note book in his hand.

"Correct...But you have to be fast external examiners do not wait for anybody... Stop being sluggish,  Jamb does not care if you answer all your questions before time is up."
He said,  you will think I offended him before ni
He had the habit of finding faults in people .

He faced Cynthia who was also still standing,  since she was not yet given the permission to sit down.

"And you... Class prefects also repeat classes, so you better be serious because F9 in Mathematics is taking you no where, this girl recently got into the school and you, you can't solve this simple question, learn from her! "
He said yelling at Cynthia who rolled her eyes immediately he turned to face the board .
So she's the part of the class prefects.

No wonder she's so proud
And then she gave me the looks I will regard as a bad eye 👀

What did I do nah?!
Is answering a question a crime ni?

But it is funny that she's angry at me,  possible she's jealous though.
But who cares?
Daz her problem.

We were almost done with the stupid maths class,  the class I hated the most.
You know sometimes I feel like slapping the person that brought up that subject, I want to study Law and I still don't know what exactly I need maths for.

It's not like I'm going to be using indices to solve a court case nah

Daniel walked into the class,  at first I did not recognize him,  probably because I was short sighted. And I've always used glasses since primary five .

But I stopped using them when I got to SSS1 because my super loving Mom does not have time to take me for a new eye test, so I could get a new set of glasses .

"Morning Sir... The vice principal asked me to call Jaiyeola. "
Daniel said,  and it was then I noticed it was him after straining my eyes the see who on earth called my name.

The vice principal why?
"Okay." Mucheche said,  more as if he was grumbling, normally he did not allow students leave his class,  while he was teaching whether you want to urinate,or defeacate or drink water,  those excuses were void.

He will just hiss at you
Or give you that bad eyes

And he will end up lecturing you,  because that is what he is good at doing. And daz what he does best.

And you will nah be feeling embarrassed.

I walked out of the class and I could see all eyes on me,  but I just wondered why the Vice principal asked to see me.

"Do you know why he wants to see me?" I asked while we were at the corridor.

"Well he was talking to a woman."
Just then I remembered that Mom told me she was coming.
Shit I told her not to come nah!
And she's going to spoil my mood now... And that infront of Daniel.

We approached the stairs.
"Ladies first." Daniel said smiling, and at that time I remembered my friends in my previous school.

They would say...
"JJ since you are a guy let us pass first,  ladies first. "
And that was because they all have the impression that I'm boyish and probably gay.

But I'm just a normal girl who has been through enough drama in her life,  and is trying her best to stay strong.

I smiled at him,  but he'll probably think I'm blushing or I'm flattered,  but I smiled just because he made me remember those sweet days,  and it is really good that someone still thinks I'm a lady.

Abeg I'm not a guy oo,  I wonder why you people think I'm a guy,  yes I might not do all those girl things,  like buying teddy bears 🐻 or wearing pink shoes 👠 or snapping weird looking selfies or blushing over a compliment from a guy,  or falling in love ♥ or crying or....
Let's just save all that for later.

My mom's calling me 😒
Even if I really don't want to see her stupid face.
