Daniel and Jaiyeola sat on a bench, near the library just before the school's main gate, The bench was made for visitors and probably Students, but it was part of the interior designs of the school.
And there were many located around the school, The boards of directors have certainly spent a lot of money building the school.

Daniel was a nice person, but I wondered how on earth he made friends with Stella, I mean Stella can be very loud at times, annoying most times, but Daniel was a normal nice guy.

He recommended some books for me since I said that I did not like Romance novels... He was like, what!? When I told him.

I'm Certainly the first girl that told him that.
So wait all girls, well almost all girls my age love Romance novels, but I don't .
He told me to pick some rather than others, saying I should not judge a book by it's cover, he must have read most of the books.

"So what's the name of your previous school? "
I stared at him for a while when he asked me that, I was a bit used to thinking before making words fly out, unlike Stella she will just say anything sha... Most times without thinking.

"Paradise Academy," I replied, the way he looked at me I was certain that he had not heard of my school...Well which is really not as well known as RHS .

When Stella praised her school saying RHS was the best, I thought she was saying
Right hand side was the best.
Before she told me that it was the name of her school, and the school I will be joining too.

"It is located at Aja side sha. "
I added, then it was clear that he probably has never heard of such school, or maybe he has not been to Aja.

"Okay, But I've only been to Aja once, So you live in Aja ?."
He asked still looking curious he probably was good at making friends.

Cuz he is really friendly.
"No Ikeja...My previous school is a boarding school. "
I added trying to make him understand the whole thing easily.

"Okay, well welcome to RHS. "
He said smiling again, his smiles looked natural.

"Thank you, and for how long have you been in RHS? "
I asked looking eager to know, what he was about to say.
"My third year here, I joined in SSS1, unlike Stella she's been here since JSS1... Even her older brother finished from here. "

"I know she's an old student. No wonder she is very used to the system. "
I replied, so even Charles finished from here .

Charles was Stella's older brother, and he is presently studying at the University of Lagos.
He looked so much like Stella, only that he was gentle.

Only God knows where they found that girl from.
"I heard Charles was the Head boy then. "

"Yes he was... So his name is Charles, Stella refused to tell me his name... I did not meet him, only heard of him.... Badmus Charles."

Daniel said you'll think he was saving the name in a small space left in his brain.

"Okay do you have siblings? "
I asked, not really knowing what to even ask.

"Yes an older brother and a younger sister...She's also here her name is Debby. "
He said, but I liked the way he talked with more details than I asked for.

"And your brother? "

"His name's Derrick, He studies at Uniben,"
I looked at him clearly confused, I knew UNIBEN was a University but I wasn't sure of the meaning.
"University of Benin. "
He added,
At first I was like, Do you read minds ni?
Or did my facial expressions tell him that I did not know the meaning.

"Okay what level?"
Well I said that because I was kind of embarrassed and did not know what to ask next.

"Four hundred level ."
"Wow... He's a big boy and alot older than you. " I said, just a bit surprised, well I thought it was probably a two year margin, between the two brothers.
"No he's only three years older, he wrote JAMB early. "

"Ohh... Okay ."
I replied, I think I understood what he was saying a bit.
"How about you?... Your siblings?"
He asked looking a bit too curious.
I kept quiet for a while I did not feel like saying this at all.
And if I don't, it will be as if I don't like to talk about my siblings.

And he just told me about his own.
"Well, I had an older Sister, but she's late now " I replied pushing out a fake smile.
And that was a shocker, he was quiet for a sec, trying to process what I just said.

"Ohh my God... I'm really sorry about that, that's so sad... May her soul rest in peace. "
He said looking a bit sad and a bit dissapointed too.
And then it was like he regret asking me that.

"Amen. "
I replied, before smiling again.

I did not usually talk about it to strangers, and only a few people asked about my sister and I never told anyone about it.

My Sister Anjola, Her mistake was ever falling in love. I made a promise to her I won't let them treat me the way she was treated, I'm determined to take my sweet revenge, no matter what.

I mean it, my Sister cannor just die Lauder, no investigation, no special funeral just like that...
I will get to the buttom of it very soon.

"So hope you are not having any difficulties here. "
He said calling me back to real life, since I was already lost in thoughts .

I thought of what he said before I confirmed the question he asked.

"Not at all... Made three new friends, And the awkward, annoying maths teacher. "
I replied, staring at the grass in front of me.

Daniel stood up, and waved at a girl who was walking towards us

"That's good, but Mr Balogun is very annoying and strict, just avoid his troubles. " Daniel said still facing the girl who walked towards our direction, but he stopped waving when the girl noticed him.

"That's my Sister. " Daniel said, that's exactly why he was waving, I wished I also had a younger Sister.

Just then I spotted Stella and her other friends also coming in my direction.

"Dan."
"where were you since? " Daniel asked
"I looked for you in your class before coming back down. "
Her face was rather circular than oval and she was light skinned just like her brother.

"Okay... Meet my friend Jaiyeola...."
Daniel said and I swear it felt awkward

The girl smiled at me, just then I noticed the resemblance, she looked like her brother when she smiles.

"I'm Deborah. " the girl said interrupting Daniel.
I stretched out my hands for an handshake and it was as if that handshake meant the world to her.

Just then I noticed that she was so well dressed and still very neat, guessing by her height and uniform she is in JSS3.

I saw a badge 📛 on the left side of her chest.

Junior head prefect girl.

"You look pretty head girl ." I complimented , I was not trying to be friendly that actually came from my heart .

She smiled warmly again.
"Thank you... But you look like all this oyinbo people. " (foreigner)
She replied, such a good girl.

It would have been nice if I ever blushed , but anyways making me feel like a foreigner was something no one has been able to do.

People only ask that am I albino or an half cast.

But I wasn't albino at all... Just the daughter of an half cast, my paternal grandfather was Italian.
That's why.

But I'm really not as pretty as my late sister, if only she was not late.

"Thanks dear, I like you jae ." that was all I could say, she's probably thinking I'm boyish, but anyways, she's a sweetheart.

"JJ."
Stella called from afar

I don't know why she calls me that in school.
"Is she your sister?. " Deborah asked me, looking a bit curious.
"No... Cousin ."
I answered immediately, just think of if she was my sister I would have broken four of her teeth.

And Daniel just watched as we discussed .
"Daniel I thought you've gone home. "
Stella said after they all got to were we stood...
"Couldn't find Debbie, also came to return the novel I borrowed." Daniel explained and we all walked out of the gate while Deborah bombarded me with questions.
"Do you go to the gym. "
"No... Had one in our house. "
"So you do sports. "
"yes sure. "
"You look like someone that exercises often.... So your nickname is senior JJ.? "
She asked and before I could reply she asked again.

"What Is the meaning of the other J?" she asked again.

"Johnson. "
"Are you joking ni?"
"No, not at all. "
"My surname is Johnson too. "
She said looking very amused
"Ohhreally...Ehnn... ehn."
I said like I did not still see her prefect badge a while ago .

Just happy I made a lot of friends.
