~Your POV~

As I wake up, I groan because I feel a painful, throbbing sensation in my head. I rub my temples, attempting to reduce the pain. As I do, I feel a liquid on my hand. I bring my hand down to see blood.

Blood?!

The blood was still running and the cut feels fresh and newly made. It runs from my forehead to my blonde hair and black streak. I sit up straight and shiver as the cold air hit my skin. I look around at my surroundings and I see no one. Am I alone? What is this place?

I don't remember anything.

I see a backpack beside me and open it, hoping of finding useful items. I open the bag and see a white heart shaped box along with an iron sword. Out of curiosity, I open the box and see a note on top of a golden and silver heart locket. I open the note and read it.

Dear <Your Name>,

I'm sorry that I have left you all alone. I haven't abandoned you on purpose-- I abandoned you to protect you, to save you as there are many dangers in the world that you aren't ready to experience; That's why I removed your memory. I will never fail you, I will never abandon you. There is a village nearby called Phoenix Drop and I want you to go there and be safe. I know you won't be completely safe but just a bit. Tell the Lord of Phoenix Drop, Aphmau, that you are Andrea <Last name>'s daughter, my daughter.

I'm warning you, don't trust everyone so easy as you are targeted. You can trust fellows of Phoenix Drop but not all outsiders as some of them are evil, part of the dark side, workers for the Shadow Lord. Take care, sweetie.

I put the note aside and carefully take the heart locket out. I open it and see me and a woman with black hair beside me. That must be my mother. I wear it and take my sword out. I try to stand up.

Keyword: Try

I fall back down and feel my leg throbbing with pain. I look at it and see it bruised. I mentally sigh. I stand up again and wear my backpack.Through some leaves, I see a gate-- A gate to a village, probably Phoenix Drop. I walk towards it, hoping nothing dangerous would come in my way.

~Laurence's POV~

As Garroth and I were on patrol, we see a person at a distance. "Do you think she's a threat?" I ask Garroth. He squints his eyes and walks closer to it to have a clearer vision of her.

"She has a sword and blood by her hair, I think she is."

"What if she's just hurt or-" Garroth cuts me off by running towards her and knocking her sword out of her hands. She was about to say something until Garroth cut her off by pinning her bu the tree with his diamond sword. "State your business."

"I was going to until-" She grabs his hand that was holding the handle of the sword, twists it and goes behind him. "You gave a rude introduction."

I pinned her down to help Garroth and she groans in pain. I take her hands and keep it firm by her back and I stand up, bringing her with me. "You're going to meet Aphmau."
