Author's POV: 

You felt his body jolt up as soon as your lips made contact with his. His eyes widened as they stared at your closed eyes. But a few moments later, he relaxed, holding you closer. 

Your heart was pounding so hard and you knew his heart was doing the same. You backed away, looking at anywhere but him. Your gaze is pinned to his shoes.
"Y/N..." He breathed out, completely shocked. You gulped and said, "I don't regret what I did... if that's what you're asking. You told me to be honest."
He just stared at you for a moment before chuckling. A soft smile stayed on his lips as he pulled you closer saying, "Look at me... please." 
You hesitated but looked up, meeting his eyes. He was smiling so hard making your lips twitch. His smile was enough to melt your heart. 
"I promise we won't change. I promise you." He said. You trusted him, a lot. But there was a slight anxiousness which remained but you tried to shrug it off. You tried to live in the moment. You nodded saying, "We.. can't." 
"And we won't." 

He cupped your cheeks, leaning in to kiss you again as your eyes automatically closed, the jittery feeling in your tummy increasing with every second. It was so hard to control. 
He smiled through the kiss as you clutched his shirt. 

"Woah. This was left to see?" You both flinched hearing a voice and looked behind to see Jimin standing there. 
"After being ditched by my partner in the race, I see this. This." Jimin said, eyeing you both. You gulped and looked at Taehyung who seemed pretty irritated.
"He ruined this." He mumbled, groaning. You smiled a little but covered it up by clearing your throat. 
"Oh... umm." You whispered to yourself, looking down.

"Okay, continue! But PDA(Public Display Of Affection) in this area can lead you both to doing 500 jumping jacks in the field by the way."

"What the-" Taehyung almost cursed as you gulped, moving away quickly. He sighed and said, "Jimin, leave now."
"Sure... it was for your good, kids." Jimin sighed and shook his head, walking away. You gulped and looked down.
"Hey, don't mind him," Taehyung said as you nodded.

It was awkward right now, very awkward. You looked down, smiling a little as Taehyung cleared his throat walking towards you.
"Let's go?" He asked. You nodded trying not to squeal. Gosh, the serotonin was speedrunning in your veins. He forwarded his hands saying, "It's.. what we always do. Not PDA at all." 

You chuckled, not being able to hold it in anymore. You held his hands as he said, "L-let's go!" 
"Y-Yes.." Both of you were red like hell right now, walking back to the fields. 
"Y/N.." 
"Yes?"
"I... really- never mind.."
"You can say it." You said, looking at him. You felt him slightly squeezing your hands, he was wondering if he should say it. 
"I actually brought that camera with me. We should take pictures in it." He said. You looked at him saying, "Oh? That camera in your house?"
"Yeah.."
"That's great! I didn't take any pictures... this trip." You said.
"We have today... tomorrow, we're leaving."

"Then.. we should click a group photo." You said. He nodded and smiled. 

Soon, you both blended in with the other students. Jimin, thankfully, didn't announce what he saw in front of the whole school and kept quiet for once. You couldn't be more thankful to him for being quiet. You saw Jungkook and Mina chatting in a corner together. They seemed to have different chemistry. 
"Jungkook and Mina..." You mumbled. Taehyung chuckled and said, "They're probably hitting it off well."
"I think I did a good job by asking Mina." You said. 

"I did a great job by asking you." He said as you frowned.
"We asked you... you never asked. You were scolding Jimin and Jungkook." You said, frowning. He sighed and said, "We pretend I didn't, okay?"
"No." You said. He sighed harder this time as you smiled saying, "Okay, we do." 

The day passed away pretty well and it was evening now. You all were gathered together to click field trip pictures. Teachers and students, separate departments... then all departments together. 

Suddenly, you saw Taehyung approaching you. 
"Hey, Jimin, Jungkook and Mina have escaped the field. Wanna join in?"
"Of course." You said, giggling. He nodded and forwarded his hand. You smiled and took it as you both sneaked out while the teachers were busy clicking pictures.

It wasn't just you 5 but more students were sneaking out. No one liked these boring photoshoots.

"Hey, guys!" Jungkook waved widely to you and Taehyung who was panting. Gosh, running through the forests was hard. 
"Hey." You said, sighing. Taehyung tucked your loose hair strands behind your ear as you stared at him flustered. A blush crept up to your cheeks as he noticed it, smiling. 
"Aww!" You both heard Jimin say and looked at Jungkook and Mina who stared at you before looking away. No one was surprised. They all probably knew.
"Anyway, it's a friends' hangout, not a dating spot so let's click a picture! I stole this from Taehyung by the way!" Jungkook said, grinning.

"Hey! That camera-" Taehyung was protesting but the sound of the flash made everyone shut up. 
"This photo's so ugly." Jungkook sighed, stuffing the polaroid in his pocket before taking another picture and saying, "Cheese!!" 
You all smiled widely this time as he clicked the picture. Looking at it, he said, "It's nice!"
Jimin snatched it from him and said, "Haha! Mine! I look good in this."
"I want one too!!" Mina said as Jungkook nodded. 
"Everyone, pose!" 

Another one. And another and another.

"Last shot okay?" Jungkook asked as Jimin snatched the camera from him saying, "I'll click!" He positioned the camera backwards and said, "READY, SET- 3,2 GO!" 

Your soft smile turned into a wide grin as you heard Taehyung whisper, "You're looking pretty right now, do you know that?"
"Gosh, I heard that!" Mina spoke as Jungkook laughed. Jimin was grinning while hearing his friends as the photo clicked. 

As soon as it came out, Jimin said, "We look so ugly but it looks fun!" 
"For real!" Mina said. Jungkook giggled and nodded. Taehyung and you also agreed with him.

"And... who should this polaroid go to??" Jimin asked. Everyone raised their hands including you as Jungkook said, "Let's play a game! The one who wins will get the polaroid!"
"What game should we play??" Mina asked. 
"How about UNO?" Jimin asked.
"Did anyone bring it though?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course, I did!" Jimin said.
"Did you plan these all along?" Mina asked as Jimin winked at her. You chuckled at them. Everyone sat in a circle, playing UNO. 
"Dos.." Mina said, giving her a card. The last card was left for her. You looked at your ones. You had two left. Jimin got 16 cards at once and lost all hope as Jungkook had 5 while Taehyung had 6.
"Y/N... you're gonna lose... Mina's after you and if she loses her cards...we're all dead."
You looked at your two cards before throwing a Wild Draw 4 card making everyone's eyes widen.

Taehyung who thought Mina was gonna win and just looked at the sky heard everyone gasp and looked down. 
"Y/N!!" Mina whined as you mumbled, "Sorry..." 
"Woah." Jungkook gasped as Jimin started laughing loudly. Beside him, Taehyung just stared at you mumbling, "I always knew the innocent Y/N..." 
You giggled as Mina got 4 cards. Now the tables had turned and you were acing. 

Everyone handed in their cards as you stared at your last card. 
You looked over the thrown cards. No. 7 or the colour red. You had no 7. A soft smirk appeared on your face as Taehyung frowned.
"She changes faces while playing games..." Taehyung gulped. Jimin and Jungkook just handed you the polaroid as you threw the card.
"Y/N won!" Mina squealed. You giggled and said, "Sorry guys... I'm pretty good at UNO." 

Everyone sighed as you smiled. Taehyung pinched your cheeks saying, "Good job." You smiled at him and looked at the polaroid.
"I like this one."
"Me too!" 
"But it's mine." 
"She's mean at times I must say."
"So what?" 
"Taehyung's too defensive."
"No.. he's lovesick."
"Guys, stop!" 

You just chuckled at everyone's bickering. It felt warm and nice. A feeling you didn't really feel ever before. Even though you weren't great at socializing, they didn't seem to bother. Everyone was jolly and lively. And you felt yourself coming out of your shell with them. Maybe because it was only them who welcomed you, and didn't reject you like others.

---Time skip 

"Ah... sneaking out is the best thing to do on field trips!" Jungkook spoke, drinking his coke as you all were sitting near a fire, again. It was night and everyone was enjoying themselves. It was winter, cold and misty. Yet, the feeling of warmth existed in everyone's hearts. 

Your head rested on Taehyung's shoulder as he whispered, "Hey, are you cold?"
"Nope... it's warm." You said, smiling. You felt him chuckle and closed your eyes. You saw Mina and Jungkook sleeping on both sides of Jimin's shoulders who were sleeping as well.
"They all fell asleep." You whispered. He hummed in a low voice and said, "They must've been tired."

"We're going home tomorrow." You said.
"It was fun in here... with them," Taehyung spoke. You smiled and said, "Thank you... I never enjoyed it so much before." 
"If I could make you smile, I'd be the happiest." He giggled as you smiled harder. A warmth engulfing you. 

But your eyes widened as you both heard a distant voice calling loudly, 

"YOU KIDS! I SEE THE FIRE! HEYY!! WAIT ONCE I CATCH YOU!" 

"Did we get caught?!" You asked Taehyung, getting up. He looked behind, squinting his eyes and cursing under his breath saying, "Shit! We are caught!"
