Chapter 4: Humanity's Greatest Sin
Deep in the Old World is a large, half caved in structure. But in the not collapsed area, something twitches. A loud, droning machine like roar echoes across the lands. Dragons, monsters and wyverians all raise their heads. Some with terror, others with pure anger and hatred. A metallic hand emerges from the darkness, and pulls up a beautiful buxom woman. She seemed mostly human, only she had the back legs of some sort of reptile, and her arms and parts of her legs were robotic.
Silvery-bronze metallic wings spread, before the figure takes off. Her destination... well more of her target... Zorah Magdaros.
At Monster Island
Zorah snaps his head up, and snarls. He unclamps his hair clip and walks over to the volcano, making the others wake up.
"Dad?"
He doesn't respond, and stabs the hilt into the lava, reforming his sword. He then sits down and glares at the horizon.
"Dad? You okay?"
"Something has stirred. Something that all Elder Dragons despise. Humanity's greatest sin."
"What are you talking about?"
"Remember that story I told you? The story of my homeland with the Ancient Civilization."
"Yeah. The one that was destroyed because of... what was it?"
"The Equal Dragon Weapon."
"Sounds friendly."
"They were an abomination. Created from the corpses hundreds of elders dragons and lesser wyverns. This sparked a war of cataclysmic devastation. They were created as weapons that both used my kind as breeding stock so they could sire more children to serve humanity. They had abilities that broke their minds and enslaved them. My mother was one of these victims, but she narrowly avoided being broken because she was saved by... the Black Dragon. The One that could burn the World, if she wished. My mother was impregnated by that abomination, but she chose to raise me, instead of aborting."
He sighs.
"That's not the only reason I hate them. When I grew up, I was a force that humanity was desperate to get rid of me or have me bent to their will. They created a Machine Wyvern perfect for breeding with me. They used the corpse... of an old friend as a skeleton. Like the humans today have done with yours. I thought I destroyed her, but the bioenergy I sensed just now... that twisted bunch of lecherous energy and calm aura. It is her, unmistakably, her."
He then spots a figure in the distance. He growls and gets in a battle stance.
"She's here."
The figure dives towards Zorah who pulls back his fist and when the figure gets slow enough, throws a heavy punch that instantly smack the woman out of the sky.
"Leave, abomination! Your creators are gone!"
"Indeed. But I will serve my purpose."
"Try!"
Zorah's body starts to super heat. His shell starts to heat up and slowly melt. The lava shifts and swirls, staying on his back. He growls, stomping on the ground, sending blazing cracks through the earth and setting all the trees alight. Everyone stares in shock.
"Begone thot!"
He crouches down and lowers his head, and his lava shifts and slowly forms a massive cannon. The opening glows, before a massive beam of fire and lava. The Machine Wyvern is blasted into the distance, before falling into the ocean. He growls, before firing several more mortar like shots in her direction. He then wades into the ocean.
"I need time to cool off, I'll come back in a minute."
He then plunges into the ocean, causing a massive pillar of steam to explode upwards.
"So Gojiren. Care to elaborate on what that thing was?"
"Humanity, where my father came from, was highly advanced. They had reign over the elder dragons, the group of species that my father belongs to, and thought themselves as masters of nature. Until they created... them. The Equal Dragon Weapon. The creation that broke nature's balance."
"Jeez. This doesn't sound good."
"It wasn't. The Elder Dragons were furious, and started a bloody war against the humans. The leaders of this war, were the black dragons. Dire Miralis, Alatreon, and... Fatalis. They are walking apocalyptic death machines. Dire Miralis, for example, killed an entire sea just by living there. The sea is now tainted by the blood of the creatures that died in it, staining the sea a permanent red. These monsters waged war against the humans. Finally, Fatalis herself descended upon the kingdom of Schrade. This was a massive city, hunters thousands strong, several machine Wyverns already there. But she destroyed it singlehandedly."
"Holy shit! She's scary!"
"You bet. She's still alive, and she's the most feared monster to ever exist. She's smaller than dad, but he wouldn't dare stand up against her."
They watch as the steam column slowly fades away, and Zorah re-emerges, but this time his shell was different.
"Did you change your shell?"
"Yes. Now, it should be easier to defend myself, as I'll use these new opening as cannons."
"Cool! And what about the cyborg whore?"
"I only sealed her under magma. It won't be long before she breaks free, Ghidorah finds her, or the humans. Which is why I'm sending a message back to the Old Worlds. We will need the help of the other Elder's, in case the humans or Ghidorah manage to get hero hands on that thing."
A Barnos flies to Zorah's outstretched hand.
"Head to the Old Worlds. Inform them all. Every elder dragon. Tell them that an Ancient Fragon Weapon has activated."
She nods and spreads her wings, before flying off.
"Now, humanity. The choice is yours. Repeat the sins of your ancestors, and face extinction. Or leave that abomination be, and we stay away from one another."
(Who should get their hands on the equal dragon weapon? Humanity? Or Ghidorah and her allies?)
